Someone needs to give the lady at jiffy lube an attitude check. I went for an inspection. The Guy with colored hair was very nice and polite. I waited 10 minutes for my inspection to complete. The lady told me my inspection failed because my windshield wiper on the driver side left a streak when wiping. (See video for streak reference). I then proceeded to challenging her concern by asking her to show me the streak, she left my hood opened and sprayed the fluid which didn t hit my windshield at all. I closed the hood myself so it could spray properly now. What I saw was not a concern. I ve seen where my windshield wipers cannot do a proper job, and I have replaced them before. This type of process she was doing, was a SCAM. The way that she and this company use an inspection to try and over price a $6 wiper for $25. When I challenged her, and asked for her to show me, what is a pass and a fail. Where is metric or the information that she uses to gauge a pass and a fail. She told me her brain. She was shouting. She cut me off from talking. She then refused my inspection. I couldn t have a reasonable conversation with her. She escalated it to a whole other level. I will be reporting her to DPS regarding this altercation. She is not fit to interact with customers. I hope management sees this and considers her unfit.

The crew were very friendly at Jiffy Lube, and did a great job with my inspection. I always get a 50% discount in the mail for this. I will continue to have them service my vehicle.

Last Sunday 28 Jan 2024, i went for an oil change and walked to a woman at the computer. I said I wanted an oil change but synthetic oil. She said I was talking to the wrong person. She told me to go back sit in the car. I usually don t sit in the in the past visits there. I usuallly walk next door to eat then return to pay. I sat in the car but returned to speak to another person. I got the oil change done. I paid and drove to get coffee at La Madeline. On the way there the car smelled like oil and I saw smoke (burnt oil from the warm engine) . I looked below the car after I parked. There was oil below the car. I quickly returned the car to Jiffy Lube and told the guy. Another guy offered to clean it with a hose and air spray and he did. I drove home and smelled burned oil still. I got a. car wash where the undercarriage spray was a feature and got a car wash. It still smelled like oil. It still does when the engine warms up. Did someone take new ownership and management there? I have been going there for years. Why did they not tighten up the oil filter and why did they let me drive away first when they new the woman failed to tighten the oil filter. If she is the inspector why was she helping when she is incompetent? I want my money back and explanation and apology.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Jiffy Lube, located right next to Take 5 off Thousand Oaks, for a vehicle inspection of my mother's 2020 Toyota Camry. I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional.After a disappointing visit to another nearby oil change facility, called Take 5, Jiffy Lube's professionalism and fairness were a breath of fresh air. The staff, notably knowledgeable and courteous, conducted a thorough yet fair inspection of the car. They acknowledged that the brand new wiper blades made a slight noise but recognized that they functioned perfectly, clearing the windshield effectively. This reasonable and practical approach to the inspection process impressed me greatly.The team at Jiffy Lube not only displayed high levels of expertise but also demonstrated a customer-first attitude, which is increasingly rare these days. Their efficient service ensured that I was in and out without any unnecessary delays, respecting both my time and my situation.I am extremely grateful for the level of service provided and am reassured that there are still places where quality and fairness are paramount. Jiffy Lube has undoubtedly gained a new loyal customer, and I highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable car maintenance services.

Overall, did a great job. Staff was very friendly. Just missed filling my windshield washer fluid, but only needed a half gallon to fill and I had it at home. Will be back.

This place was not great and dirty. When I arrived workers were by their personal vehicles not the bays. The workers were not nice and even went through the effort to not pass my vehicle for inspection because my windshield wipers were not up to their standards ( I got my wipers replaced two months ago) ended up paying 60$ morethan I should ve for a 7$ state inspection. What a joke! I will not be taking my services or recommending to any other friends/family jiffy lube any longer as this is not the first time they have to overcharged me while providing suboptimal service here.

I will never return to this place again for an inspection or oil change. They told me the girl had left for lunch that does inspections. I return 45 minutes later when they said she would be back. They proceeded to do the inspection on of my car. The girl never returned and they never told me they didn't inspect my car. After I paid, I went to HEB to get my tags for the car and they told me my car had not been inspected. Jiffy Lube cannot control the returning of their inspector , but they should have been told me that my car was not inspected.

Iv been coming here since 2019 and I can honestly say I love coming to this jiffy lube. They are literally the best. They explain everything to me in detail on what is wrong and needs to be changed and why. Everyone here is always nice and friendly as well.

Terrible service! They had me waiting over an hour plus for service . I had to miss part of work just to get an oil change. I usually go to Take5, where they literally take less than 15 minutes to change your oil, but I wanted to see if I could get my tires rotated. I had to leave without getting that done because they took so darn long. I hate leaving negative reviews but the service was sooooo bad. This is the last time I will ever go to a Jiffy Lube.

I am done with giving my business to Jiffy Lube! The service has gotten really bad! I arrived to once again find no one waiting to greet customers. I waited for 10 or so minutes, open bays, no one around, I walked into the shop, and still no one. I had to call the business phone number. They answered and I explained I was in the shop waiting for services. The tech said the bell that notified employees was not working. They changed my oil in 15 minutes as I watched. Did not check my washer fluid, my transmission, air filters, or anything else. I ve been a customer for more than 10 years with three vehicles. The service used to be spectacular. Leadership has failed in all aspects of this business! I can t take the poor service any longer. I m done with Jiffy Lube and I m sure Jiffy Lube will be out of business soon if they continue the unprofessional service. Work order 12257, Invoice 72644

UPDATED! I wrote this review on 9 Nov 23 but it disappeared and was not the correct rating (5 vs 2 star), so I am redoing it. I came in just after the 6 PM closing time and they still let me get my and another customer's car get serviced. Alec L. was very professional and friendly, he wasn't pushy on additional items that were recommended to be done like cabin filter (I do this myself). Alec really seemed to know what he was doing as he answered all my questions. Service was very fast since I pulled right in and the price was reasonable for full synthetic based on my normal dealer service that I didn't have time for. I always go to the dealer for my 2 cars but since this car is out of warrantee now I'll come here for the oil changes at least. I was pleasantly surprised how fast, competent, and friendly the staff was.

I ve been a customer since Jiffy Lube arrived in San Antonio with multiple vehicles. I will discontinue all services associated with Jiffy Lube. I arrived for an oil change to find no one at the location. I waited for 10 mins and still no one. I called the number while around the oil bays and a representative answered. I explained I was in the store waiting. He came out and advised me the bell in the drive way must be out of service. The service has been extremely poor the last couple of visits. I will no longer be using any Jiffy Lube services. Jiffy Lube will be going out of business in San Antonio since the services is really poor.

**RUDE RIP OFF** I pulled up to get an inspection, with my driver and passenger windows down so they could walk up on either side - keep in mind my back 2 windows were up and all of my windows are tinted the same shade. The guy walks up, I said I need an inspection, so he tells me to roll up my driver window a bit. I did that and he immediately told me I failed the inspection, without actually inspecting or measuring anything. I told him I've never had an issue passing inspection before and I've never changed the tine, to which he says, "well you're pulling up with the windows down," - Iike what?? This guy was so low IQ he couldn't grasp the fact 2 windows were up so obviously I wasn't hiding my tint, plus how was I supposed to talk to him without rolling the window down? On top of being rude and weirdly aggressive, he tried to tell me I owed $7 for pulling up and getting told I was an automatic fail? Like he didn't even perform the complete inspection or have me pull into a bay and he insisted the charges were $7 pass or fail. Definitely do not trust this place with your vehicle - also for the record I did not pay him for this weird encounter.

I always go to the same jiffy lube same address for the same oil change which is all I wanted. The guy who attended my car not only did not put windshield wiper fluid in my reservoir which is what alerted me that it's time to take it in cuz I was out of fluids I asked him when I arrived if he could also check my tire pressure which I had to ask again when they were done with my oil change and again I left without fluids for my windshield wipers. I noticed it before I left the parking lot so I brought it to his attention he told me to go across the street to some other place and that I could get water in there for free mind you it's in the '30s here in San Antonio . You don't put water in there it will freeze. He mentioned the equipment was down for that.and even worse I tipped them $10 before I knew this. I've never had this problem before. Totally disappointed. I've been taking cars in since I was 15 years old for oil changes just because I'm a female does not mean I don't know what I'm getting or paying for.

I've had my car since 2018 and have never had an issue getting my car passed for inspection. Went in to this location today and was told my tint on the windshield is too dark to pass, which makes zero sense because my tint hasn't changed at all. It's the same it's always been since we bought the car. Pretty sure they were just lazy or felt they could take advantage of a woman, and didn't feel like doing the inspection. I will never go to this location for anything, ever again. BEWARE, and make sure you go in knowing the laws. My tint is legally fine, they were just lazy. I was able to get my car passed with a different company. Lost business for no good reason! If I could give zero stars, I would.

Don't go here for your inspection. The lady that did mine failed the 2 people in front of me and myself and I saw another when I drove past later that day.I took it to another place and passed just fine.

Went in yesterday to get my oil change. The guy that helped me told me to wait inside and leave my car in a rude way. While I was waiting they did not go over any oil options with me like they did in the past. Very disappointed how they put the most expensive one without telling me the estimate first. Don't think I'll be coming back.Update: 9/18They never sent an email back when you're trying to contact them. Don't come here if you're trying to have a simple thing to be done to your car.

Arrived there at 3:45 pm for a safety inspection. Told that the guy who does the inspections is "out to lunch" and will be back in an hour. So much for getting basic services done in a jiffy.POST SCRIPT: As requested in the "Response from the owner," I "reached out" to the District Manager via the provided email. It's been several weeks now since I did that... with NO RESPONSE. Perhaps he's still "out to lunch" with the guy who was unavailable to perform safety inspections.

They hire people with autism! As a mom with 2 autistic children, that alone earned my loyalty. Keep it up, they deserve the satisfaction of earning a paycheck, too! Of course, i texted sll of my ASD mom friends letting them know.

I went for an inspection. They moved quickly...almost too quickly. I had some questions but they seemed too busy to answer them. I did shout out some questions as they were dashing around with other cars. They shouted the answers back to me. I feel that they could slow down just a bit and give the customer just a few minutes of undivided attention. The atmosphere was hectic and rushed. But, all in all, I was satisfied with the service.
