I took my car to be repaired although I didn't leave it it was more like a quote and what would be needed I felt they were trustworthy and honest. I just didn't have the money at the time. They were even willing to work with me but I didn't have much money at the time and I didn't want to become a bad customer if I couldn't pay later. But I have and will continue to recommend them to friends and family.

My wife and I were about to take a loss on one of our cars due to transmission issues. The cost of repairs quoted at other shops was high. Not only did we get an unbeatable price from JV Transmission Services for repairs, but with the money we saved, I could take my other car in for repairs while staying under what I was quoted at other shops for repairs on one car! The owner is a great guy and showed me and my wife nothing but respect when we spoke on the phone and in person. This shop will now be our first choice whenever we need to take our vehicles in. Thank You for everything!

This is the place! Excellent service. Explained everything in detail. I am so glad we brought the truck to you. After a year of chasing the problem on our own you found it immediately and saved the life of our truck. Forever greatful

Went in with what I thought was a slipping transmission issue. They test drove it and told me that it was in fact my transmission slipping. Picked up my truck in 1 week. Soon as I jumped on the highway the same issue happened. Called them back and they said to bring it back. After I had paid to have my transmission rebuilt it ended up being 2 spark plugs went bad, the transmission was fine. What would have cost me less than $500 ended up costing me Over $6400 with my week's worth of a rental and rebuilt transmission. Even though they fixed the issue and didn't charge anything extra I would still be cautious. Nothing worse than having to fork out over $5400 when you didn't have to.Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic

WORST PLACE EVER AND JUAN VEGA IS A JOKE, THEY HAVE HAD MY DAUGHTERS CAR BACK AND FORTH SINCE JUNE AND STILL CAN'T FIX THE TRANSMISSION . WE HAD TO TAKE HIM TO SMALL CLAIMS COURT BUT THIS GUY IS A GREAT LIAR!! PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE OR YOU MIGHT HAVE TO LEARN THE HARD WAY. I HOPE THIS CAN PREVENT SOMEONE FROM LOSS OF MONEY AND A BIG HEADACHE DEALING WITH JV TRANSMISSION....JUAN VEGA YOU AND I KNOW THE TRUTH AND THAT IS THAT YOU RIP OFF YOUR CUSTOMERS !!!!

I have a 1998 Chevy truck with a manual transmission that needed a clutch and rear-main seal replaced. They did the job in only two days and the results were impressive. I can not say enough about Alejandro and the guys at JV Transmisson. They were able to get me immediately with no prior notice, and even though the scope of work isn t there usual day to day services, they found a way to get it done. They had work complete in a few days and were almost half the cost of the closest estimate. If that was the end of the experience it would have been amazing, but Alejandro was able to get me in contact with a few of his work connections to further aid me in getting my car back on the road. Thank you so much for being the beacon of light and making what has been a stressful situation very manageable.

Spoke to Juan Vega..very professional. Found out it was my clutch not transmission. Turned my car in on friday was fixed by wednesday. My car is running great.If ur in a money pinch Juan will work with you on payment arrangements if needed. Overall great experience.

Imaging having the worst of problems. Transmission not shifting right which is caused by an electrical problem plus having a couple shorts to ground. Any shop would have you over the barrel snd could take you. BUT not JV Transmission. Wow the service and the great price. They are honest, fair and dependable. My Jeep got fixed quick. I was in a hurry do to an emergency that came up snd they pulled out everything they had and gave me the best service I ve ever had. The price was so great and the quality of their work is like none other. They know a vehicle from front to the back, engines, transmissions, electrical and even basic brake jobs. They are amazing. It does not surprise me that the owner is an army veteran. Of course a veteran you can always count on. They did some work on my 2009 chevy silverado's transmission back in January, the guys there were really good. They told me it would take about 2 weeks, a week later they called me and said it was done! It is now August and have not had any problems. I have referred 2 others and they have had good service from them as well.

When I first explained the issue with my transmission I was told it would take about two weeks to fix. While it took longer than that I was still very happy with the results and the fact that the owner was very upfront and forthcoming the entire time. I was also very happy that the additional problems that came up during the repair process didn't cost me any extra. Very satisfied.

I had a great experience with everyone I spoke to. They took the time to go over my old car and create a plan for me. It relieved a lot of stress for me. Absolutely 10/10 service, JV has given some of the best service in the business. I have found them to be trustworthy and helpful in figuring out my transmission issues. I would recommend this to anyone having transmission issues. Fast turnaround and diag.

Very good service. Old-school values they have. I Explain my situation with my jeep and they found out what the problem was. Other places will charge you. And listen to you afterwards. This place was recommended to me by my mechanic who ve I ve trusted for over 20 years .Rebuilt transmission on my 2002 Honda Accord with 220,000 miles, running like new. Fair price, no unhidden cost. Car was ready in 4 days

6 months after getting my transmission rebuilt by then I had a light come on that's something was wrong with the transmission I stopped by talk to the owner and he said let's get her in as soon as possible mind you he has so much work over there they could not get to my truck for 2 weeks but it was worth the wait when I got my truck back it ran like it was brand new very good honest family run business

Very rude man keeps calling my phone from this place! I have told them many times they have the wrong number! No need to be a total jerk about it sheesh! !
