Dropped off my 07 C6 Z06 for a Monster clutch instal, as well as replacing my rear main seal cover and gasket. Rafael was honest and quick to get my car in and out within 2 days. He gave me daily updates with car progress and had the best prices compared to shops all over SA! I would highly recommend bringing your vehicle to GM specialists if you want work done right and in a timely manor

Service is great. Rafael in the office and Alex on the floor will take care of all your needs.They get their parts from the GM, as they said,so their prices may be same of dealerships except the labor, labor charge is always spiked at dealerships. You can be sure to know it will be fixed and right things will be fixed. They showed me all the things needed to be done for my vehicle, after completing a through inspection, with car lifted on the port.

As a small local business ourselves, it is very important for us to support our local community businesses. We were recommended to try out GM Specialist of SA by another business. We have no General Motors vehicles in our fleet but we gave them our Fords to work on; best decision we've made. These guys care about their customers, do fantastic work, and we have had zero issues. We will continue to bring all of our vehicles to them. We are so impressed with these guys we are even considering GM vehicles for future purchases.

I took my 72 C-10 in thinking it was going to be expensive and a lengthy process. Boy, was I wrong! I was personally taken care of by one of the owners and was in and out. He let me watch the process, and I learned a lot. He was very knowledgeable and thorough. I will definitely be back for my exhaust.

READ THIS REVIEWIf you have a GM vehicle, make this your primary service shop! I had a 4WD issue for over a year. I had taken it to two different Chevrolet dealerships, a 4WP Center, and two other shops that were unable to figure out the issue.I emailed GM Specialists of San Antonio describing the trouble I had with my truck s system. They immediately called me, eager to troubleshoot the problem. They set me up with an appointment and seemed very enthusiastic.They were able troubleshoot and fix the issue in TWO DAYS!!! They figured out what FIVE other shops couldn t (to include two GM dealerships).I was blown away by their work, customer service, and the entire overall experience. They are also very fairly priced and transparent.I feel like they care for my vehicle as much as I do! That s why I ll continue taking my tuck to GM Specialists of San Antonio.If you want the job done right, go to GM Specialists of San Antonio!

Took my truck to them on a tow truck and they were able to accommodate me immediately. Rafael let me know exactly what was wrong with the vehicle and properly addressed concerns I had with the vehicle. Diagnosed, repaired and got my vehicle back all within 24 hours. I will definitely be going back to them for any future repairs.

I highly recommend coming here. Very professional, educated, and humble group of techs. After this shop I was taking my vehicle said I had to replace some parts the a previously fixed, I told myself that I just need to go to someone who specializes in GM vehicles. After finding this shop on Google I searched through the reviews and I'm so glad I came here. They fixed my truck in about hour and saved me $1200. I'll definitely be back in the future. Respect the fact the tech took his time to properly diagnose my truck. My truck had an intermittent issue and he found the issue and corrected it and only charged the diagnostic fee. Other shops likely would have quoted replacing several components. Highly recommend. Seems like an honest shop. Will be taking my truck here from now on.

The owner and his team at GM Specialist of San Antonio were comprehensive and patient while helping me during my car engine and other necessary parts replacement process. In our initial meeting, I had a lot of uncertainty regarding whether it was worth fixing my car, and the owner and his team were patient with me while I waited to consider my options. He was even patient, allowing me to keep my car at the shop for a few days while I figured out what I wanted to do. He even waived the initial diagnosis car fee, knowing that I decided not to fix the car after all. In the end, I towed the car back to the shop because I decided to fix the car after all, and the owner and his team were very patient with me without judgment. The whole process was a pleasant experience. I was kept updated on the progress of my car repair during the entire process.The team at GM Specialist of San Antonio was always available when I had any questions and was very transparent during the process. I highly recommend going with GM Specialist of San Antonio instead of any other auto repair shop in San Antonio. I live in San Antonio and have gone to many auto repair shops over the years in the area. And was unhappy with their services due to numerous inconsistencies during the repair process. The team at GM Specialist of San Antonio was very professional, and they genuinely care about their customers and try to get us the best deal possible. What I thought would be a nightmare to find and replace my car engine, and parts turned into a positive experience. These guys are second to none, they went out of there way to fit me into the schedule, completely altered my corvettes alignment that needed drastic attention, and were friendly from start to finish, can t wait to work with them in the future! Rafael kept me informed on when the part arrived and how long the repair would rake on my Acadia. It only took them a couple of hours to complete the repair and they charged me half of what the dealership was going to charge me for the same repair. Super happy with my experience using this shop and would highly recommend GM Specialist.

If you have a vette this is your place. Took my 09 vette in a few months ago. Very honest and reasonable. The owner called me a week later to see if everything was ok. Good luck having a dealership or any shop doing this. Very impressed.

I brought in a recently purchased 2016 Cadillac ATS-V sedan to have new brake rotors, pads and rear shocks installed. I also had them install an aftermarket short-throw shifter (for fun). They did great job and everything works perfectly. The ATS-V is a special car (only about 2400 sedans were built), so it's comforting to know there's a shop in SA that knows how to work on them. Plus, the guys aren't just master technicians, but enthusiast.

First and foremost honesty and integrity is at the front of the line here, dealership wanted to keep my truck for a week and a half just for a diagnosis, these boys mean business here, found and troubleshoot the problem in no time. Called and informed me right away and got my truck back on the road the same day. I m extremely satisfied with the service and professionalism and will now be taking my GM vehicles to this location for all services.

I had a damaged splash guard under my car and nobody in town would touch it to give me an oil change because they didn t wanna be liable for the damage, I was recommended these guys by my uncle and within less than 30 minutes they had my oil changed and re-secured my splash guard panel! Amazing service done by Rafa and the team there. Cant recommend GM Specialist of SA enough.

Alex and Rafa are just amazing! Their customer service and attention to detail is incompareable. They keep you informed about the status of your vehicle. I have taken two of my trucks to these guys and the process has been the same. Everthing from estimates, to your vehicle is in the bay, to the call or text from Rafa that your vehicle is ready for pick up. I am really confident in referring GM Specialists to friends and family! I took my 2016 Escalade to GM specialist to get a second opinion after being referred to them from a friend. They diagnosed and resolved my issues in 1 day for a 3rd of the price of the Cadillac dealership with better customer service! Thanks again I look forward to doing more business in the future!

I had been referred to several places to work on my Corvette and every place I went to was trying to upsell me on items that would be nice, but wouldn't necessarily help me on the issue with my clutch. I went to Alex and boyyyy WAS I IMPRESSED!!! I had asked him if by chance he had any experience with Corvette's and his was response was "Only for the last 10 years :D" So I felt at ease trusting him with my vehicle. He was BEYOND knowledgeable on the product. Not only did I save money, but he had my vehicle ready sooner than expected and has now gained a customer for life. My Tahoe oil pressure gauge fell to zero and scared me. I took the truck into a dealership and was told I need a new engine. 5000 dollars is what the big dealership was trying to charge me. I wanted a second opinion so I took my vehicle to Alex at gmofsa and Alex diagnosed my vehicle to have a faulty oil filter. He did a oil change and new oil filter and bam my vehicle has been running perfectly. Definitely recommend these guys they are fair and honest. Saved me 5000 dollars and a lot of time.

Honest mechanics for an 06 Tahoe. Friendly, explained and showed me all repairs needed. I'm going back for more work to be completed. Highly recommended. They work on old school C10 trucks too.
