These folks diagnosed and repaired my vehicle, staying VERY late to accomplish this, on a Saturday. I'm from Houston and had a breakdown on the side of the highway. They were able to obtain the required parts and get me back on the road that night. Awesome work and great job to all the folks at this shop. The radiator replacement on a Grand Cherokee was not a small repair, but y'all managed to pull it off. Thanks again for your assistance in a crunch!

In same month I buy all new tires. I get a flat, so either the roads in san antonio are so bad, or they gave a bum "new" tire, that gave out in 2 weeks. It hard to trust the integrity of them when I seem to have no problem from discount tire down the road.

Dropped by Firestone after getting an unexpected flat. Less than an hour to closing and with no appointment, Zach accommodated me and went above and beyond to get my tire fixed so I could make it home. I truly appreciate your customer service and your care Zach!!! Thank you for listening to me and not treating me like just another number

We had been using Firestone for many, many years. Slowly, as management kept changing, we became strangers to the new staff. We took our daughter s car that had a strange noise to the same Firestone we had been using all these years. We ended up paying almost $4000. The car was even worse when we left! They first replaced the catalytic converter, but the car still had the noise for which we brought it in. They worked on it, and this time replaced a bearing. But then we noticed that the car was dragging to move along, and the gas mileage was worse than when we brought it in. They tinkled with it, said they would waive another $300 for the fix, but the car did not improve.I went in debt to ensure my daughter and her kids safety to no avail. They truly know how to rip off those who need their car fixed for the sake of their business.God forgive them and God help me forgive myself for being so gullible.

They replaced my tire fairly quickly. They're a bit expensive but sometimes it's better to pay more for quality work, a guarantee, and peace of mind. My vehicle's AC was repaired quickly and properly when other shops were trying to cheat me. A bit of confusion among the employees as to which tire was repaired for leak. Paperwork stated one thing, but the actual tire repaired was the opposite to what the paperwork stated. Ultimately the proper tire was repaired (patched for a leak), just the paperwork stated the wrong tire. Anyway, all's well that ends well.

We were told during the appointment that it took at minimum an hr and a half to complete. So I had to make the appointment at an inconvenient time. The car wasn't taken back for at least 20 mins after my appointment. Then they finished in under an hr after they took it back. Other than that the service itself was expeditiously done and the staff was friendly. Will definitely come back, I love the lifetime alignment option provided.

Had the same problem 4 years ago. Got a complete brake job but root of problem was not addressed causing repeat service. Had I not reported my suspension as to cause, service personnel may have taken the easy out and just done another brake job.

This place is horrible. I ve had to come in 4 times for an engine light issue. They tried to fix my converter and did a horrible job. I had to go to my dealership to get it done correctly. Massive waste of money and time. Extremely unprofessional. Do not come here if you have big issues.

So I live across town on the nw side of San Antonio. My physical therapy is close to the Firestone on fm-78; the OTHER side of town in converse area.Recently, I replaced my long block AND tires this past week and yet I STILL felt vibrations with my Kia. At this point , because I knew how low my treads were Pryor to replacing my tires, I knew my alignment wasn t good, hasn t even been done in the 4 yrs the car was made. I have a 19 Kia optimaYesterday , I chose Firestone to get my alignment done because the last time I bought tires from Firestone, the location at the sw military location, took such great care of me, however with my physical therapy scheduled closer to the Firestone on fm-78 I called them yesterday and the earliest apt they could get was this morning at 11am. I was happy about that . Because that meant I could drop my car off at 11 and be on time to therapy and get my car after Firestone was finished .I show up this morning to get my alignment done and the convo is as followed .:::-me : I have an apt and I ll be using my fathers credit card (LIKE I USED LAST TIME TO PURCHASE TIRES IN THE FIRST PLACE WITH FIRESTONE)-clerk: sorry ma am , but without your father present we cannot complete the service or transaction -_________ --me: excuse me but the location on my side of town only needed my fathers SSN and zip code to complete everything WITH the credit card he has on file with you all, I even had him on the phone verifying last time -clerk: well our boss doesn t like doing that in fact he would need to sign off and approve that and he isn t present today and calling corporate would tell you the same result I m telling you and I ve been screamed at all day and it won t change the policy just because you call your father to verify -me: your location cannot provide the service but the location I went to last on the nw side of town seems to be able to and you all are the same company I don t understand why I couldn t be told sooner than wasting gas coming all the way over here just to have to drive back on my side of town to set yet another apt and miss my therapy scheduled AFTER our apt for my spinal cord injuries today when I had it lined up this way for a reason . I had an apt out of courtesy of yalls availability times. Everything was worked out perfectly and now I m being told a different story? Clerk: *legit silence , nothing was said *I m beyond stressed , everything was lined up perfectly , and thank god the location on my side of town was able to fix the fm-78 locations mistake but if there s a policy ALL LOCATIONS SHOULD BE FOLLOWING, this was an inconvenience I couldn t afford . I already done so much trying to fix a car I could barely afford from carvana ,of all places ,and clearly even carvana couldn t take care of their vehicles otherwise I wouldn t be fixing my car so much when I have yet to even enjoy having the car, but I m dealing with injuries on top of that from a Pryor accident from a drunk driver colliding into mine when he had a red light driving over the speed limit, like I know it sounds like a jumble of problems but looking at this my life is already crazy with trying to take care of injuries , fix a car I could barely afford to get into after a drunk driver totaled my last one and I plan these things and I call to schedule and I wasn t told till the last minute something that may have not even been true and shops just lazy but that hurt more of my finances than I could afford . I set the plan for what I COULD afford , and I thus happens I m beyond upset and one of the plus sides was the deal going on for alignments being cheap and I m trying to take advantage of that as well as my location actually working to help their customers and to a point of carrying about my safety at that .unlike fm-78 locationBEST LOCATION WAS : 1375 SW Loop 410San Antonio, TX 78227United StatesNot fm-78. I came in this morning (regular customer) after making a 10:30AM appointment for an oil change. When I arrived only 1 customer was in the waiting room. Oscar?-who is new there had me wait over 1 hour before I decided to call Pep Boys down the street which instantly placed my car on the lift & got the job done. Pep Boys had more cars and customers waiting than Firestone did but when I explained what was happening they told me there would be no wait time. I strongly recommend Pep Boys for oil changes they have a beautiful girl managing, they are honest about wait times and they let you bring in your own parts. As for Firestone, I recommend them only if you plan on dropping your car off & leaving since making appointments is a waste of time and even then, dropping your car off has it's risks since I was there on a previous visit to hear that a customer's work truck was broken into the previous night while parked in their lot. It was not their responsibility. Also, I have the Lifetime wheel alignment & Oscar said it could not be done without an appointment (I already had an appointment to be there.) I did not give a 1 Star because I like the young mechanic there but unfortunately this location does have high employee turnover.

I took my Hummer H3 in on appointment due to overheating for the 1st time in the 7 years I've owned it. Well an hour or so later and these idiots are telling me to take it to the dealer BECAUSE it needs an engine rebuild BECAUSE they didn't want to go into it in depth and find out what the problem really was. So I took it to a REAL mechanic and the problem.... A WATER PUMP! Let that sink in. I go from a recommended engine rebuild to just needing a new water pump! If you go here BEWARE and good luck, you're gonna need it!

I dropped my car off before 9 am, I am just now picking it up at 6 pm. I went in for them to do an alignment and check my tire that I bought from there that keeps giving me issues. Looks like all that was done was just put air in my tire and waste my complete day without a car. Every time I go i hate the experience and never feel at ease. And when I leave they just give me a paper showing how it s not aligned.

Don't go to this place you will get ripped off. I went in for a simple tire repair and they tried to sell me a new tire. I had a appointment for 11 am I waited 45 minutes before my car was taken in.

They put 4 new tires on my vehicle and then when I was got in my vehicle the tire indicator stated one of tires was low. They brought a machine out and said they needed to reset the sensor and then my tire indicator stopped working all together, but was working fine when I took my car to them. I bought a tire less than 90 days ago with the warranty. When that tire got flat and needed to be replace they did not honor the warranty they was trying to make me pay 169 for a new tire when I just had paid 225 for this same tire with warranty. So I had to pick up the tire and take it down the street to Discount Tire to get replaced for a cheaper price with a warranty. So I don't believe they actually honor the warranty they convince you to buy. The manager Cody was even arguing with me telling me my tire was 50% percent used when I got it less than 90 days ago and I barely drive my car. The customer service was poor and I am no longer taking my luxury vehicles here anymore.
