Had the great experience at Firestone on 10430 Potranco Rd. Thanks to the Crew for their awesome job. What a difference to driving away felt after the Alignment job. Had no idea my poor SUV needed it desperately. Got new tires 6 days earlier but only after getting the Alignment done do I feel the difference. Thank you to J. Rico for running such a great crew. If your vehicle needs alignment look no further, trust Firestone to do it right.

Simple. I had a scheduled appointment for 12 noon, I showed up 1.45 hrs early. I stated my earlier appointment finished up early and headed to Firestone. Service Manager asked if I was going to leave the car since I was early and I replied no I will wait. He could not guarantee getting me in earlier due to the current work load, but will make an effort. By my surprise he was able to get me in and out by 12:15PM which was a blessing within its self. Let it be known each time I have come to Potranco location, am never disappointed in the support I receive and surprised they only show a 2.9 rating. I've been to other locations in the past where the support was far less satisfying yet show a higher score. If anything I ask look into why this is and give Potranco the proper rating they deserve for the support they provide their customers. Thank you. Please publish this kudos they rightfully deserve.

Came in last minute before closing with a tire emergency. Bailey was gracious enough to take me in and take a look at my vehicle for me after store hours. The mechanic Theodore was very professional and they both had me back on the road in no time. Really appreciate Firestone and their above and beyond customer service.

I arrived early for my 12:00 appointment and didn't start service till 1:40 I also carried no tires for my vehicle. Quoted the highest priced tire not in stock . Put the wrong name on the invoice and stated I refused additional service next time just to ask if I could have used the brake fluid flush.All in all, It was clean and the restrooms were clean too. No coffee brewed 3 customers including myself and 2 turned away counter help was on there phone so questions had to wait

I went to Firestone to get my cargo trailer inspected. My tailer failed one marker light was out. I returned 2 days later with my trainer. They asked how was my day I said that my truck had a screw in the tire. One of the employees laughed about my misfortune. I passed my inspection the second time. The inspector gave my paperwork and I left. I drove down the street and noticed he gave me a copy of the fail. I returned to Firestone and told hem to pay attention. Tha store can make you have a bad day!!!!

I trust my Firestone! The value, the quality of workmanship, and the honesty of the people that work on my vehicle. I highly recommend setting an apt. The few times i have gone in without one, the wait has been 4-5 hrs, but this time I set an apt and was given an expected wait time and it was accurate. I highly recommend the lifetime alignment and road hazard package when buying tires. It has saved me numerous times. Any time I have had to have a tire replaced, I was allowed to see the nail in the tire and didn t have to pay a lot due to the road hazard purchase with each tire. I trust their work, and I keep going back to keep my vehicle running safe & smooth.

I picked up a car from Enterprise during the day. At night I realized the passenger headlight was out. A drive to Enterprise would mean 2-3 hours on the road round trip depending on traffic. The Enterprise representative told me I could take it to any Firestone and they would change the bulb. I came to this Firestone at 4:59 and explained my situation. The guy on duty told me he would have to schedule me for an appointment to come back. I asked if he could just bill the bulb to Enterprise and give it to me to change out. He told me he has to be able to bill for a technician. I went to O'Reilly bought the bulb and changed it myself. My process took all of 10 minutes.

I've been to this location a few times and often been disappointed with their service. I went back because that's where I bought my tires and two of them have developed leaks. I got the run around and eventually bought two prorated tires to replace the leaking ones. I had difficulty getting them placed where I wanted them. Potranco Firestone insisted on placing both new tires on the passenger side and when I resisted that option they wanted to charge me to remount my original tires, that I'd purchased there, because they're directional. I was very dissatisfied with the quality of service Potranco Firestone offered so I visited the Cibolo location and discovered that they would put the tires where I felt they should be for no charge at all. Cibolo Firestone was helpful and friendly while Potranco Firestone was difficult and not at all helpful. If you need to go to Firestone, avoid Potranco.

I went today for an oil change and the young man at the desk was extremely friendly and professional. I wish I could remember his name. Give that man a raise. Every company should have a person like him representing their company.

I got just a wheel alignment and I did pay $210, however it is a good deal because I can go back in 3 weeks and get another for free. Also, drop off and pick up was super simple.

I went in for an alignment. Dropped off early, and was done pretty early. Was told the caliper was sticking and both needed to be replaced. Too much to justify that repair. However the alignment is not straight. It's a but worse than when I took it in. I was told " We aligned it as good as we could. Numbers were still in red and not really balanced.Not angry, just disappointed.

Brandon and Christian always come thru. The Firestone off Potranco has to be the best Firestone in SA. Informative, helpful and huge change with what I m used to. If you are looking for service, schedule one here and you won t be disappointed. 7stars

Don't bother booking an appointment at this store. They do not honor appointments in my experience. I had an appointment scheduled, and I was on time.I ended up sitting in their lobby for 2 hours, 3 walk-ins serviced ahead of me, and my car never seeing the bay before canceling and leaving. I'll never come here again.

Staff are disgustingly anti~Black American (do they think Texas still exists under the confederacy?) Manager (glasses, chubby, white) gets easily offended by confident, smart, articulate Black American customers. He got an attitude and started a verbal argument with me in the shop, when I pulled out of our deal because he couldn t hold up his end of the bargain (mind you, a claim got approved by my insurance carrier Silver Rock and they were going to cover 100% of the repairs). Instead of being professional and owning up to the fact that he couldn t keep his word, he tried chastising, ridiculing and belittling me for opting out and relinquishing their service. He reluctantly gave me my car key back, and began aggressively quizzing me about my next moves, after I leave, with MY CAR! It all came down to his prejudice towards me (also for having a White wife) and wanting the $2,200 check that Silver Rock were going to cut him for the repairs. He needs to be fired immediately! Black Americans, if you detest being discriminated against, because of your skin color, DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS LOCATION!

This place has gone downhill. It used to be my go to shop for oil changes, but the scheduling has been wonky lately. Longer wait to get work done; if you re in a crunch, probably consider somewhere else.

So I needed a battery talked to the guy on the phone he said it'll be 220.00+tax installed so I asked whats the time frame he said bout 2-3 hours. I replied ok I dnt have that time frame I can change it out my self how much just for the battery his attitude on the phone changed really quick he said 212.00+tax I was like wth? Really then he replied oh it won't be under warranty also if you dnt let us install it. So I decided to call another one nearby and the guy there said o yeah we have it the exact battery p/n the potranco store has it. 179.00 and there's also a discount for 20.00 anything over 100.00 so I asked him what bout warranty the other firestone said it won't be under warranty if they dnt install it.. he said yeah the one on potranco gets alot of complaints the manager there purposely tries and markup things on purpose and verbally says things but never on paper so it won't come back to him. So im here letting the people around potranco beware and so also corporate can see my review . I do understand businesses and how they have to meet quotas but do not have your managers and sales team deliberately try deceive customers and threaten them it won't be under warranty if they put in a battery them selfs. I do understand time frames are based on workload. So not thrashing firestone as a business just letting anyone who tries to go to this particular store to beware question any repairs or service before try the alamo ranch one or marbach one or bandera one they are more direct at those stores there's something off bout this one

I've used them a few times and their service is second to none, as long as you know what services you need and don't need. They are a business after all. My biggest gripe is why make an appointment just to have to wait on a 30 minute job, that I was told would take 1 to 1.5 hours to do; patch a tire despite making an appointment 2 days before hand. The expectation should be, if I show up at 8a for an appointment, it's in the bay by 8:10a being worked on. Aside from that, you can expect quality parts & care from this business.Service: Tires

I drove from Alabama to San Antonio for a job. Before I left home I had new tires put on the truck and an alignment done. On my trip down, i noticed the truck was still pulling to the right and it felt like a tire was out of balance. I made an appointment with a location in San Antonio, only to find out later, it was on the Air Force Base. I had taken off work 2 hours early to make this appointment, so i started calling other locations. After calling 3 stores, i spoke with Robert at this location on Potranco. At 5:30 in the afternoon, Robert never hesitated to tell me to come on in, they can take care of me no problem. I was immediately greeted and within 5 minutes the tech was in my truck. The location is brand new, open less than a month, after moving from about a mile up the road. So the store is spotless, and conveniently located. Im not from Texas, but while i am in town, if i need anything, i will come here.

Great service! Really one of the most amazing experiences with car repair I ve had. I went in because of a flat tire, but I was also able to get my state inspection. The technician was able to answer all my questions, and my servicing was done quickly even with all the cars they were working on. The technicians are hard at work! But, the one thing I appreciate the most was them not making me spend more money by adding on a bunch of other suggested services to get done. I wanted to get my engine and cabin filter replaced, but they SHOWED me that it didn t have to be done, so I was able to save $100+. When it s time to get my filters replaced, I will be going back.

These guys need to get some signs that they so badly want lol a guy came outside and yelled at me that I can t park in their parking lot if I wasn t going into their business. There is not one sign that says fire stone only parking. Terrible experience.

Front end WAS pretty messed up but truck BARELY pulled to the left.Shocks annd springs anre bad. Only reason I took the truck there is because we had gotten lifetime alignment on it a while back. Waited all day the first day, and they never took my truck in until I came back at 430, then by 5 they asked if I could leave it or bring back in morning. Asked if I needed to make appointment for tomorrow he said no we will keep the work order open it ll be priority tomorrow.( I live 40 miles out of town) Dropped off at 930 the next day, came back around 2 and they still hadn t worked on it. They pulled it in right when I asked why it hadn t been worked on yet. After they said they weren t able to adjust camber or caster but adjusted toe. Truck pulled VERY BAD to the left after. Brought the truck to my local guy this morning, he made a few adjustments, took about a hour, charged me 120, and now the truck drives perfectly straight again. HOW WEIRD?? I guess it s okay I lost two days of work. Didn t want to pay this guy cause I had the lifetime at Firestone but I learned my lesson since he actually fixed it. I m not denying that the front end was in bad shape, but it makes me wonder how my local guy actually fixed it right and made it drive straight all while using 20 year old equipment.

I am no longer doing business with Firestone. Taking all 5 of my vehicles to Big o Tires from now on. It's not worth the waste of time anymore dealing with Firestone. It's so hard to get work done right the 1st time with them. All locations. I always have to bring my vehicles back from one reason to another. Noone seems to take responsibility for wasting my time and it's frustrating to have to keep my cars there all day. Goodbye Firestone

This is my 2nd time booking an appointment @ this location. The 1st time I book was last year, 3 days head. they canceled my appointment the day of. The sec time they tried canceling was 3 hrs b4 appointment both times I booked online. I called the store and we rescheduled for an earlier time. I was at the appointment 5 min before verbal scheduled. The gentleman that greeted me and who's voice was on the call happened to be the store manager. He tried to act like we didn't just talked an hr ago and that i didnt have an appointment today . I was firm with him and then he changed his tune with an attitude remembering all the details all of a sudden. He tried to get me to go some where else by saying it will be an 5- 8hr job for an oil change, brake check, and state inspection. During this time I was sitting in the lobby with 1 other gentleman. The store manager was on the phone with the speaker on full blast the way he was speaking to the person on the other line was very aggressive and rude. It was so bad that the gentleman next me shook his head and left. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location again. Management ain't got it together and has no customers or people skills. If there short staff which would explain the schedule cancellations I would guess management is the problem.
