I can't even begin to express how thankful I am that I found Erik and his shop. It's hard to find a mechanic who is honest and whom you can trust and I found that in Erik! (especially after relocating from FL and leaving my good mechanic behind). Erik took care of all the needs of my 18 y/o 350Z which was leaking oil from different places in the engine and who even a Nissan dealership was not able to assess properly. Erik educated me and showed me things about my car and its problems which as a female, I truly appreciate. He was kind to me throughout all the car issues and even threw in a couple of other fixes in the mix. He has a life long customer in me now. I will be returning to him for all my car needs. I would recommend him to anyone.Erik, may the Lord God continue to bless you, your family, and your shop!

Erik did an AMAZING job on my Harley Davidson! Kept me up to date, what it needed and what it will need. Prices were less than I expected for the work that was done! Super clean when I got it back and the workmanship was second to none. I highly recommend Erik s Automotive!!!

The staff at Erik's Automotive were professional and friendly. They discussed local events and restaurants while I waited for an oil change. Complimentary car wash was the cherry on top for this business. Definitely would recommend this place to friends and family. Thanks for all you do!

Met Erik years ago when I needed help with the convertable top mechanism on my 2007 Nissan 350z. And a year ago he replaced my entire AC system and it is working perfectly. Super reliable and first class service which isn t the easiest to find in the area! Provided updates with photos during the whole process, constantly communicated throughout the repair process to make sure we were on the same page. Straight up and genuine on my first time experience. Did some big repairs to my vehicle and noticed later on that Erik hooked it up with a little clean up of the car. I m new to this area and would recommend to anyone else looking for a mechanic that this shop is fair, honest, and provides first class service.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake repair, Oil change

I had the misfortune of my Nissan breaking down, and I'm thankful Erik's place popped up on Google. He was fair in his pricing and transparent about the problems with my car. He kept me informed through the whole process (even sending pictures). He even went so far as to speak with me on potential options that were available to me regarding my car. It felt like talking to that friend/family member who knows all about cars. I greatly appreciated his respect and knowledge throughout the whole process. I definitely plan to continue using his services as long as I'm in the San Antonio area.

Erik took great care of us. We were in town from Wichita, KS with an air conditioner that broke with 100+ degree temps. He got us fixed up for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

In a large city like San Antonio, there are dozens of auto repair shops to choose from, but I urge you to look no further than Erik's Automotive. I moved to SATX in 2022 and needed a mechanic to do some work on my Ford Raptor. After a short conversation with Erik, it was an easy decision to trust him with my repairs. He is very communicative, priced fairly, and this is the only auto shop I've been to where I don't feel as though I'm being mislead or taken advantage of.I've had my truck worked on multiple times by Erik, and every time he goes above and beyond. As long as I'm in the area, I'll be a forever customer.

Replaced my motor at another shop and went to Erik s to fix everything they did wrong and to come back almost a year later to have him replace my open door actuator and with the timing the service and the quality. Can t beat his prices. My truck has 200,000+ miles and is running beautifully. I will always give him a five star rating, don t know what we would do without them. Dropped my truck off in the morning and it was ready same day. My family has gone to him for years and we will continue to do so.If you re considering his shop don t even think twice. I've been taking my car to Erik's for a few years now. So many shops will try to upsell or overcharge women, but Erik treats my car like it belongs to his own family members. He only suggests what my car actually needs to have done. I mentioned going on a road trip when he was doing an oil change, and he even checked the spare tire to make sure it was good in the event I need it. He's an honest, hard-working mechanic and that's why he's the only one I'll take my car to.

My mother-in-law, husband and myself have been taking our vehicles to Erik's for several years. They always do an amazing job! They are great at communicating what they are doing and Erik will even send us pictures to help keep us updated with progress. All repairs have also been completed in a timely manner. They treat us like family and will work to help keep the cost down. I was referred over to Erik s shop, I read the reviews and didn t think twice of going elsewhere. Mark and Erik were great, they called me the same day with a diagnoses and estimate. I had my vehicle back and running better than ever in just a couple of days. Erik even called me a few days later to check up on my vehicle, now that s outstanding service right there. Sorry for the long review but it s so worth it!! I absolutely love this place. I have never been to a Auto repair shop that has been this friendly, kind, professional, and honest. Mr. Erik and his guys are literally the best. I ve been here about 5 times and each visit has been pleasant. Mr. Erik not only respects but he values his customers, and treats everyone like family. Mr. Erik goes above and beyond and he is there to help his customers no questions asked. He s very patient with children as well. I usually have to bring my baby along with me who can be a handful and Mr. Erik is always so kind offering him popsicles and playing with him. Excellent work and excellent customer service. Any time I have to take my car for repairs I am always anxious, however after taking my vehicle to Erik's Automotive I was put at ease. Everyone was kind, before the repairs began all details were provided and I was even taken to my car and shown the issues. The necessary repairs were explained to me in a way I could understand. I was even shuttled back home and picked up when the repairs were completed. I have found my new mechanic!! I am very happy and pleased with the service I have received. Excellent work and communication - this shop is honest and updates you throughout the repairs so you know exactly what's happening with your vehicle. Being a woman, I always worry about getting ripped off but this shop has never overcharged me in the past 5 years I've been using them. Amazing team and shop! I reached out with an issue via email and in less than an hour, Mark was calling me to see how they could assist! They genere able to get my car in same day for an inspection. I thought it would take all day but about an hour later, got a call with the issue, an estimate, and promise that they would start working on it right away! I was able to have the car fixed and back to me all in the same day! Great work, professional and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Had oil leak. Took car into Erik. Trying find way to get to work. Erik working on vehicle before I left 330 got home little over hour he had changed part and was done. Great work in a timely manner great price.

Erik was professional, communicative, and efficient. He took in a jeep a purchased for my son on short notice and put on new brakes and rotors, fixed a rear differential leak, small water pump leak, installed a lift kit with suspension and shocks. He did it all quickly and had it back too me in time to give it to my son for his birthday! Dropped off on a Thursday and picked up on Friday. Highly recommend! Where do I start?!!?!?! Erik and his team are phenomenal. I took my corvette to them to fix the AC and they found a few other mechanical issues that needed to be pics. Before fixing the issues we were sent pictures and given an explanation. All issues were handled quickly and I was on the road in less then a day! I will definitely be going to Eriks Automotive for any future needs of my vehicles. I highly recommend and give and would give this company 10 stats if possible.Services: Brakes, Air conditioning

My husband and I have been going to Erik for many many years for all our automotive services. He has always put our safety first, his staff is very knowledgeable and uphold the best customer service you could ask for. I have come to trust whatever Erik recommends that we do to or with our vehicles. I took my vehicle in for suspension issues. The tech (I believe his name was Tom) did a thorough job diagnosing the problem. I received an estimate for suspension repair as well as other needed repairs. The hourly labor rate ($250) was at least a $100 higher than other comparable auto shop hourly labor rate.Also when I picked up my vehicle the employee at the front desk said when they started the vehicle earlier that day there was blue smoke coming out of the exhaust and that the vehicle was burning oil. Never saw any blue smoke before I took it in and haven't seen any blue smoke since I picked up the vehicle. Maybe it was someone else's vehicle and not mine.Service: Steering & suspension repair

Erik's auto is my go to shop for any automotive issues I ever have. He is honest and strait up with you as far as cost, labor and what is really wrong with your vehicle. He is always willing to work with you when it comes to price and he is good about providing you with flexible options as for as what fix is most important to least. I had a 2004 cadillac that had pretty significant front end damage from hitting a deer. The insurance wanted to total out the car but Erik urged the insurance not to since he knew it was my only vehicle and he sure enough was able to get the insurance to agree and he fixed up my only vehicle which was a life-saver. This is the type of service you will get with Erik. He understands hard working people and how much we rely on vehicles. He has tinted my cars before, and done maintenance on my wifes car many times as well. He is amazing.

I went to Eriks based on a recommendation from a friend. I had a defective valve cover and Erik said he could fix it so we went ahead with the repair. Upon pickup 4 of my dashboard lights were on and I wasn t sure why. I assumed they would go away in a couple dats and I was assured Erik was a man of his word so no biggie. When I went back a week later I didn t recognize Erik- he was unprofessional, condescending, and his so called warranty just flew out the window. He was pushing me to buy an alternator ($900 repair) and even hit me with if you can t afford it that s not my problem I took my car to another shop and they had up and running in less than an hour! (Faulty sensor) I would stay away from this shop!

I found Erik's about a year ago and it has since become my go-to place when my car decides to start being mean. I first went there when the Midas up the road tried to charge me $900 for lower control arms on my Nissan Versa! 900 and they tried to get me to sign up for their credit card to pay for it!!! I told them to put my car down, did some research and found Erik's. They quoted me about $480 and when Midas heard this they lowered their price to $500. NICE TRY MIDAS. Erik's towed my car from the parking lot and did the work for just over half of what Midas wanted to charge me!I have since been there for my brakes and my AC and I have walked away happy every time. As a 20 something female college student, I'm VERY familiar with mechanics looking at me and gouging the prices because they think I don't know anything about cars. And they're right. But I have google and I know when I'm getting ripped off! I know Erik's always gives me their best price and I've never had any trouble with the work they've done. I walk in, tell them what's wrong, they give me a ride home or to work and do the work fast! VERY convenient! Excellent customer service!I would definitely recommend Erik's to anyone with car trouble! I doubt I'd ever go to another mechanic unless I moved out of SA.
