Fantastic service by the entire EC Car Care team! I ve had an odd problem with my car that it seemed like no dealership could recognize and the EC team were able to help diagnose the issue and find the parts needed to replace. They were very quick and communicative through the process, overall a great and trustworthy mechanic!

Good experience. Ray was communicative and polite. We're able to diagnose and repair vehicle as promised. Prices are fair. They are busy. Could take 1-2 days to get you on their schedule. Rightfully so, as they are a good auto repair shop. I will be returning for future auto repair.

I always get intimidated going into auto shops, but Mr. Canales was very welcoming! Hands down, best experience I have had dealing with an automotive repair shop! My son's car was having front end suspension problems making it really unsafe to drive. Even though they were getting ready to close up, they cared enough to stick around and check it out for me. They even gave me a ride home when I decided to leave the car for repairs. I don't even get that kind of customer service when taking my cadillac to the dealership! With that being said I will be taking my cars here from now on. Really like this place and the people that work there!

I recommend this shop. I am from out of town, and my car broke down and was about to be towed. They had my car towed to the shop and fixed. Did extra things to ensure it was safe to make the trip back up north, Texarkana. Nice people here.

Dishonest and incompetent. If you want a $300 repair to turn into a $10,000 repair then bring your vehicle to this location.

Awesome costumer service & great work! I needed both of my whole headlights replaced/ assembled and had an excellent job done. Ray called to give me updates on my vehicle and had it ready in no time! Definitely recommend!

Broke down on 1604 when my alternator went out,,got it towed to EC QUALITY CAR CARE and they got me in and got everything fixed in 2 1/2 hours,,great people and very professional,,highly recommend them for your car needs

Called ahead to make sure how much would it be for a full/ cross the board diagnose and they told me $60 and they tried charging me $160 but they ended up charging me $50 then said oh well we still have to charge you even though they couldn t find what s wrong with it.

They've always been honest and quick to help me with my car troubles. They take care of you like family, give good advice, and always go the extra mile. Excellent customer service and attention. I am glad I found them, it's hard to find a place to trust. Lou is always welcoming and quick to get my car in the shop. They have reasonable prices, and have a great eye for detail. So thankful for all they do!

Great customer care. They were quick and thorough. I was able to get an appointment in the same day. They explained everything to me very thoroughly what needed to be fixed. They went above and beyond in offering me a ride home while my car was getting fixed so I did not have to get an Uber. They called me to give me updates on my car as well. Very nice people!

Been going here for a while to get my car worked on. Moved to San Antonio and wanted to find an honest car repair shop. EC is definitely that. Lou treats customers as more than just business and seems to remember a lot of them by name. My car repairs are consistently completed the day I bring it in, no matter how big the repair. Overall, great customer service and will do everything they can to meet your requests and more than likely exceed your expectations. I very much recommend EC Quality Car Care, not only for their quality of work but for their personable approach to their customers.

Their service at EC Quality Car Car was amazing. They explain everything they do and walk you through the process in a very clear and understandable way. Lou helped me out and was good about staying in touch and letting me know what they'd need to do to fix my car. At the end, they gave me a detailed status report of all the other things they found while inspecting my car, along with estimated costs, but did not pressure me at all into getting any of the work done there. I waited a few days before writing a review, just to make sure everything with my repairs were in order, and this morning I recieved a follow up text from the owner asking how everything was! Overall, an amazing experience, and I'll definitely be coming back. I highly recommend this shop ;)

I would give 10 stars if I could! My daughter (college student at UTSA) needed car repair after an accident, and EC Quality Care made me feel confident that they would take care of it which was a HUGE relief, as we, her parents live several hours away. Our insurance company was extremely difficult to work with on this issue, but Ray & the others at ECQC were very patient and always did whatever was asked of them by the adjusters. Their communication was A+ and they were a voice of reason at a time when things were extremely frustrating. Do not hesitate to use them for your car care needs! They are honest and trustworthy at a time when these qualities are hard to find. Once we got to the actual repair, Ray went above & beyond to expedite the parts and service so that she could have the car back quickly. This place rocks! For years, I've been taking my cars to various other shops in the area with mixed and inconsistent results. Today I was in a bind and decided to give this place a try, based its excellent online reviews. Not only did Emiliano blow my socks off with a significantly more affordable quote. But, he was exceptionally courteous and professional - totally on top of the situation. The turnaround for my repair was super fast and was done right! The next time you need a mechanic, do yourself a favor and check these guys out.

Lou and the entire team at EC are great. I was in San Antonio for business and needed to take my car in before I could return to Dallas. Lou got me in, diagnosed and back on the road in no time. He kept me informed of all my options and through our conversations, he was able to save me $350 off initial estimates. I truly appreciated their professionalism and care for customers. Great service team.

My hub bearings have been really bad for some time now. I kept on hearing this roaring noise so as expected, I visited the dealership for a diagnostic test. They confirmed it was the bearing. If anyone has experience of going to the dealership would know how expensive it is to have anything done. I visited EC Quality Car Care and Lou and his team did the work in no time! Could've gotten back my car the same day but my phone was acting up! Got my car the next day and it works great! This place is awesome! They are friendly and helpful and their work is impeccable! And reasonable prices too! Unbeatable!

The vehicle and customer service I received here was fantastic. I went in to replace my front-axle and Lou made sure I was well taken care of. The turn-around was quick, and I got a significantly better quote compared to the chain auto shops. On top of this, they gave me a ride back home after I dropped off my car.

Went in for a multitude of problems and the staff there were incredibly patient and worked with me with the pricing. They did everything they could to give me the best prices on the parts without sacrificing quality as well as cutting down on labor charges. During the repair which took a while they kept me updated on anything that needed to be added or any other changes that needed to be done. I was well informed during the entire process and wasn't surprised by anything. So far my car has been running smoothly and I am more than satisfied with my experience!

I was met with a unfortunate event that ended up making my car unable to drive. Thankfully I was close to this place and ended up taking my car in to get it fixed not knowing if the place was good or not. Lou, the manager was the first person I met to help me with the car. He was very understanding and helpful with my situation which I greatly appreciated. They don't try to nick and dime you on every repair but rather they cooperated with me and making the car repair a easier and less stressful event. I highly recommend this place due to their honest and amazing work!

I took my car in for an oil change and a coolant leak check. The service adviser Lou was awesome. He advised me that it would be better to do the coolant leak check before the oil change in case I decided the coolant issues were too numerous for me to fix. This way, I would not be paying for an oil change before addressing the possible more serious issues. I have never been anywhere else that was so honest and so informative. I decided to wait in the lobby (with complimentary snacks) while they did the coolant check first. I am glad I did. It turned out that I had to do a repair on my coolant system that was more important than the oil change and was able to postpone the oil change for the next week while my car's more immediate thermostat and coolant hose leak were repaired. As a single parent, this definitely helped me to budget out the things that were needed for the week. They took me home (at no cost) while the repairs were completed. Thanks to Lou and Emiliano (the owner) for all their work being done at a fair price. I also appreciate how Margie (the other owner) was so friendly and attentive while I waited for the results of the diagnostic. She made me feel welcomed and at ease while Matt (the Tech) worked efficiently and thoroughly check my car out. After the repairs, Lou walked me back to the car while it was still in the bay, and showed me exactly what he had done and even showed me the cruddy, old, and cracked parts that were failing. Talk about service! I will be taking my car here from now on, no questions asked.

My sister and I had driven all the way from Ohio when our coolant reservoir boiled over and the AC quit working. Lou and the staff at EC were amazing - they gave great advice and were able to figure out the problem very quickly. They were honest about not wanting to charge us more than necessary, and they did a great job and got us back on the road even faster than I expected. If I lived in San Antonio, they'd be my first call for car trouble!

I can't recommend this place enough! Lou and the other staff were incredibly helpful and nice. I absolutely trust that they will be honest and I now feel like I have a friend who is a mechanic. They gave me a ride back to my house after dropping my car off and picked me up when it was ready which is extremely helpful to me. I love knowing that I have a good place to go whenever my car needs maitenance and I'll be sure to recommend EC auto care to all of my friends.

E.C. Quality car care is the place for me for the past 20 years. That s when I moved into the neighborhood and found this top notch family owned business. I really appreciate that the owner Emiliano. He really makes sure you understand what s wrong with your vehicle and why it needs repair or that it soon will need repair. No pressure on the sale of the repair. I really felt that he cares about me and my vehicle and that he just wants me to be well informed on what the situation is. Let s be honest not all of us know a whole lot about auto mechanics. The service is professional, friendly and quite frankly enjoyable. So if your looking for a mechanic shop that s honest and has integrity and values it s customersE.C. Honest, Quality, morals and ethics on point. Lou was a great guy. The help they gave me and understanding of not just my vehicle but my personal situation was beyond what I could have thought. The cost was not outrageous either. They got me quality parts with saving me money and didn't try to upsell things I know I didn't need. Had my brakes fixed and am going back again for more work on my truck. Like I said before honest, quality, morals and ethics goes a very loooong way!! And these guys hit it. They'll take care of you so quit searching and just go already.

Just stop looking and give these guys a call! Excellent customer service, Very fair prices, and fast turn around times! I had a fuse that kept going out so I shopped around to get estimates. Several shops wanted over $500 to just look at my car, with no garuntee of it actually being fixed. These guys worked with me to get the best value for my money and I'm very thankful for that. Ask for Lou, he's very knowledgeable and polite. Will be returning for all of my car related needs.

Customer service is wonderful here. I came in for an alignment after getting 4 new tires and to get my A/C checked out.I, perhaps foolishly, thought i could get away with charging my own A/C with a kit but those kits can get you into trouble! They evacuated and recharged the AC and it looks like i didn't do any real damage to the system. Now working great and the AC blows colder than before i tried to DIY it.High quality work here and fair pricing. Definitely recommended.

Called these folks on short notice regarding an alignment issue I had with my 2019 Toyota Tundra. They had me in and out in an hour. They did a great job and have very reasonable rates. The shop is clean and well run. I highly recommend these folks for your automotive needs. 5*

My sister and I drove down from Ohio in an older car. We experienced some car trouble and were fortunate enough to make it to San Antonio where EC Quality Car Care helped us check it all out. We brought the car in first thing in the morning and they took such great care to listen, investigate, and be very clear about what they were going to do for us, what expenses might be incurred, and how they were going to do their best to minimize those. We were out of there within 2 hours, so basically, faster, cheaper, and better service than anywhere we've tried in Ohio. (Sorry Ohio.)

I moved to San Antonio about a year ago and I found myself in search of a new mechanic in the area. I am always apprehensive about visiting a new mechanic because of the fact that I'm a female and some shops try to take advantage assuming that a woman isn't knowledgeable about cars, hence hitching up the prices for a simple service. After doing some research on auto repair shops near the UTSA area, I stumbled upon EC Quality Car Care and saw all the favorable reviews. When entering the establishment, I was politely greeted by Lou whom had a warm, inviting ambience. I explained to him what I needed done and he told me approximately how long it would take, as well as, offering me a ride home. When I picked up my vehicle, Lou went step by step as to all that was done while suggesting future maintenance but not insisting that I needed to get it done before I left the shop that day. I never do these reviews, but EC Quality Car Care is an honest, humble, and caring shop that doesn't get the credit they deserve. For any other women that feel uneasy going to just any auto repair shop, rest assure that you'll be in great hands once you come here. I will continue to be a returning customer for as long as I am in San Antonio.
