Mingo is a legit old school maestro in his craft. He did an over the top rebuild on my 52 chevy powerglide transmission and didn't have to, but HE DID... upgraded the clutch in it to a better one to give the transmission longevity. Car ran smoother than it ever did. A year later I took my 98 GMC in for transmission work, he let me know it didn't need a complete rebuild and would be just as good with an overhaul. Saved me over a thousand dollars and truck has been riding smoother than ever for the past 2 years. Two vehicles...no issues whatsoever. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION.

I met Domingo about 7 years ago. I had a issue with a component that I needed on a transmission. Not only did he have the part, but simply just let me have it and on top of that room his time to show me around his place. Not only did I find a awesome transmission builder but a GREAT PERSON. I have returned with other transmission rebuilds and Domingo has always delivered. This man is one of a kind. I have zero hesitation referring his show to anyone. Thanks sincerely Andy O.

Mingos the Transformer of transmissions. His knowledge is priceless. When you we're playing with blocks & Lincoln logs. Mingo was playing with wrenches & screwdrivers.

HONEST and friendly! Domingo did exactly what he said he would do, has reasonable prices, and was able to correct another shop's mistake! Zero problems with my rebuilt transmission from Domingo's Garage!!! Hard to find reputable mechanics but you will find them here!

Called for a quote and he shot me a price the immediately hung up before i could see if i can get on the schedule. Rude! Don't bother them they are apparently to busy to schedule my 2 thousand dollar repair! idiots!

Mingo is awesome! I was having issues with an older transmission, it had been in a previous local rebuilders and was not successful in fixing the issues. I went to Domingo's garage with transmission, Mingo met me and asked me to pull around back. He asked me if I had a minute?, I replied yes, and he commenced to breakdown the transmission in front of me explaining all elements of the internal workings and what was done wrong by previous shop. Week later collected transmission, installed it and it works better than new.Mingo is 1 in a million, he has been rebuilding transmissions his whole life, learned from his father unmatchable fundamentals on customer service and value. His knowledge is second to none, other shops had no idea what a Warner Model 8 transmission was and Mingo knew exactly what I had and what it needed.I highly recommend Domingo's garage for all your transmission needs.
