First off, let me start by saying that I run a specialty auto shop in North Texas. We came down to San Antonio for a weekend trip. We got a slow leaking tire Saturday morning. We drove to the nearest Discount Tire to get it checked out. I told the service advisor we are from out of town, that I ve got a small leak, and that I just need it looked at real quick to see if there is a nail. If there was, then you could put us in queue to get it fixed. We waited two hours for it to get pulled in, and it was in the shop for about 2 minutes. Tech comes out and says he can t see a nail and just put some air in it. Well. There s two hours of our last day in town gone. We get on the road this morning, and the tire is still losing air, but we figure we can make it back to Dallas. Well, we get to Austin and the pressure is going down. Luckily, I found a place that was open on EASTER to look at the tire. And what do you know, there s a FAT nail in the sidewall. How did you not see that? The guy took off the wheel and saw it in two seconds. I never do this to my clientele. My techs take wheels off, spray tires and even dunk them to ensure the customer if there is a leak or not. This is a terrible business practice. I m not one for leaving reviews, but this blew our entire weekend. I would recommend going to a different discount tire until this location can get it together and properly train there technicians. The customer is the most important thing when it comes to vehicles. You want to make sure that they are taken care of, so that they won t write reviews like this.EDIT: The nail went through the entire tire, so it s not repairable. Can t tell you how upset I am about this. Obviously, there s nothing that can be done. I don t live in San Antonio and will not go to or recommend this location.

Great shop! Worked with me to get exactly what I wanted and special ordered my Michelins. Whole crew was professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

I love, love, love this location!! I have been a discount tire customer for years. I live on the other side of town near 2 other (closer) locations but the customer service here is ALWAYS extraordinary. Mark was my representative. He was very polite, very informative, educated me about the entire process for the work thar was needed today. More than enough seating with distancing for your wait. Nestled in theMcCreeless shopping center on New Braunfels, it's convenient to the highway and easily visible. I will always recommend this location 1st to family and friends (2nd up would be the Austin Hwy location). Thanks Mark and thanks Adrian!

Have visited this location several times, service is usually very fast with an appointment. They have corrected issues for me, where I was referred to this location, such as tires out of stock at other locations, or no available appointments at other locations. Staff has been friendly and willing to take me out to the bay to see issues. Have taken multiple cars to this location.

Went in today to purchase new tires that my vehicle was very much in need of. The gentleman that assisted me today went over all my options and made it easy for me to understand. I couldn't be happier with my new tires!

Came here to replace 2 front tires. Have been coming here for tires since it opened a few years back. The service here is pretty good. Actually thought they were going to take longer. But to my surprise they were very fast. Was in and out in about 20 minutes. One thing I liked was the curbside service. I stayed in the vehicle till it was time to pay. Everyone was wearing their masks and hand sanitizer was available to use too. Soon I'll be back to get the back tires replaced on our truck so will be making another trip to this store.

Hands down the best experience I have had at discount tire; the employees genuinely cared for me. I won t get into specifics but there is a reason I always and will always recommend discount tire to people. Thanks guys- y all saved me hundreds of dollars today!!!!!

Third time here, my first time was in march/2023 I came and bought 2 tires and the guy said I will have life warranty, so in September same year a I came for 2 more tires the new guy told me to came and do rotation at some time, so today they said I need new tires and my warranty is voided because I didn't did the rotation when the first guy never explained anything to me, so well I feel robbed

This place takes care of you! They are knowledgeable and prompt. I bought a set of tires and wheels from them and Joey helped me price and pick the set up I wanted for my truck. Joey's team is amazing. They got me all squared away in a timely manner. I have sent over family to Joey and he has taken care of them. My favorite tire shop!

I was in line for Air Check and the young boy came towards my vehicle but didn t give eye contact nor greeted me and said indirectly what do you need? while looking down grabbing the hose. I told him the issue and he basically repeated what I said and told me I had to come back and get it fixed when I have time. I told him I m here now, how long will it take? Talk about not liking you re job and no customer service at all.

super thankful for discount tire and this store. I always have a great experience here, I even drive further to come to this location. Miguel helped me out today perfectly and was patient with my 5 kiddos in the store with me. They saw me coming from CFA next door and got my car for me and drove it to the front. I went in for a rotation and ended up needing tires and they still got it done super quick!!

I had a great experience at this location! I preordered my tires and set an appointment. When I got there the man helping me told me that they actually didn't have my tires in stock, so he upgraded all my tires that were about $95 each to tires that were all $125 each without me having to pay the difference since it wasn't my fault that the original ones weren't in stock and I was stuck with a flat. They also put them on quickly! A+ customer service that you don't see as often anymore.

I would like to give a very special thanks and shout out to Victor, through this past week our vehicle drug me and my family down to our last and when we thought it couldn't get any worse both our tiers blow out , in a wreck full of tears not knowing my next step Victor came in and saved the day with getting my tiers fixed up so its safe for my family to be back on the road I was unable to catch you and give you a big grateful and thank you hug but hopefully you get to read my comment and know thank you Victor from my family to yours thank you for your blessings, I prey discount tire shows you the graduated you deserve.

Came in for a low tire pressure light and left with new tires I needed them anyway, the guys working there were very friendly and helpful with tire selection. Got approved for the discount tire card in about a minute

I put their slogan to the test and was more than pleased!I ordered new tires and rims. Was serviced within an hour and went back to the road; however, later I noticed one of the rims paint was chipped and scratched up from transport and installation.Called in and was helped by Estiban & Eunice. They analyzed the problem and ordered a new rim and installed it for free. Everyone makes mistakes, and these fellas are more than willing to fix those mistakes! Trustworthy service!

I need a replacement in one of my tires, came to this location because it was the only one that had my tire available. Customer service from Juan was excellent. Service was done incorrectly, when I point it out they just laughed at it. So unprofessional service. Do not recommend this location. Double check your car before heading out.

I have visited this location of Discount Tire twice this year for flat tires due to nails from construction in my neighborhood. Both times I had a great customer experience. The service men who helped me were professional and welcoming which really helped lift my otherwise stressed out mood. I never felt a sense of being talked down to or ripped off like I have at other auto parts shops. Both times my flat tire was repaired promptly and for free! The communication both in-person and via their text messaging update service is top-notch. Today, Jason recommended new windshield wipers as he saw mine were very worn down. He was not salesy at all but was concerned about the safety risk they posed to me while driving. And he was right! I hadn't had mine changed in probably years. I was glad to give this business to them and should I need new tires in the future, I'll be coming here.

Had a flat and got it fixed here for free since it was still under warranty. Nice new store and convenient location in front of HEB and behind chikfila. Miguel was very helpful and professional. I'll be back when it's time to get new tires.Update : I have since come back several times for new tires and replacements. This store is the best! Service is always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. While you're waiting you can go to chikfila or the new Taco Bell or run into HEB. Free coffee or water while you wait and the Discount Tire credit card takes a lot of the stress out of the experience. I have a tire warranty through my dealership but I still come here instead!

I purchased Michelin defender tires for my 2020 Ford escape about a month and a half ago. I was helped by Shawn and he was very friendly professional knowledgeable. He was accurate about how long it would take for the installation and I felt was honest and truthful about what tires would fit my needs best.The day before yesterday I was driving behind a truck and three large pieces of concrete fell off. I swerved in an attempt to avoid them however I clipped one with my front passenger tire. It completely destroyed the tire. Roadside assistance remove the tire and installed a spare. I took the tire back and Shawn help me once again. They replace the tire for free And the only charge to me was $26.90 to continue the roadside hazard insurance on the new tire. I could not be more pleased with my tires but even more so with the excellent service that was provided by Shawn

I came in to this location with a slow leak and an extremely long day of work. I met with Jon at the front desk and I just want to say that he and the rest of the team at this location went above and beyond taking care of me as a customer. I highly recommend that you visit Jon so that he will take care of your tire needs. Kudos to Jon and the team at 4118 S New Braunfels. I give them 10 stars!!

Great Job! Great Service! I will return at this location for future business.Service was great! Called ahead of time to see if they had tires I was lookong for. They did not have them avaialble. However, the enployee who reviewed tires recommended similar tires and asked if I wanted to schedule an appointment.I scheduled the appointment and went to the location. At arrival the staff greeted me and brought out the employee that I was speaking over the phone. The employee showed me my options, prices, and comparisons and even went above and beyond service by physcially showing me the tires. I purchased tires and within 35 minuets I was out door.I would recommend this discount tire to anyone who needs a new tire or replacement.Update:Returned Today and still was offered the best service and prices for tires. The Store Manager and their team hs it down right on how to treat customers. I will return in the future for services reguarding tires.

These folks always take good care of me. I've berm using Discount Tire for sy least 35 years and they have never let me down. I love that i can call or look at my online account and decide what i need. Then I make an appt and so I'm only there about an hour or so... Then on my way with new tires.

Great quick service and excellent staff. Make an appointment to make your (and their) life easier. I never go anywhere else for tire services.
