Current 2 Classics specializes in classic, vintage, antique, and even modern cars. Still the best customer service for car repair. I have lots of questions and Tony (owner), his expert crew of mechanics take the time to answer them all.

I paid Current 2 classics $5781.75 to install a used certified engine in a KIA Sportage and it hasn't worked properly since. The car was back and forth to their shop 3 time with engine failure. I was called on 3-27-23 and told i had to take the car somewhere else because the mechanic cant figure out what else to do with the car. Said he preformed 2 test and it was the catalytic converter.Now he has changed his mind.First it was a censor / then it was the throttle , lastly he thought it was catalytic converter.Throughout all of this after install of engine he's has been blaming my daughter for not checking fluids first week of driving with replacement engine.A list of items was sent to my email 8 days after the car was picked up in January.If engine was installed properly she wouldn't have had to do anything until her next oil change .His wife has been extremely rude and uncooperative during all of this. She is now refusing to send receipt for the purchase of the engine.I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone for anything.Service: Engine repair

First, The wife is EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!Car engine needed replaced, was sent to business on 12/2022 received back 1/26/2023 sent back to shop 2/14/2023 for more issues regarding the engine. They ve had my car in the shop since then to this date 3/31/2023 and was told they can no longer work on car because they can t find the issue. We have paid them 5800 to replace engine that came with a warranty & paid them for the work they are doing. To now have to get my car towed to another auto shop for someone else to fix the issue they can not resolve.Have been given the run around for weeks to now be told they can not fix the problem, and they refuse to give us invoice where engine was purchased.Worst business in SATX.Service: Engine repair

Tony and his crew did a fantastic service on my vintage 84 Cadillac. Tony was always very friendly and kept me apprised of the repairs. He explained all procedures and I feel the price was very fair. Great place to take your vehicle if you are having issues. Honest and fair. Ive been dealing with Tony for over 10 years and he never disappoints. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing work done to their car.

I ve dealt with this shop for a number of years and have watched the steady decline in the quality of their service. As a result, I ve had to since cut ties with them. The straw that broke the camels back was when I took both my 2006 Mercedes R350 and 2006 Jaguar S-type to them to be repaired. Both vehicles were there at the same time with the Jaguar being allegedly completed first. I picked the vehicle up after hours and Tony the owner allowed me to come in the next day to pay for the repairs. Shortly after picking up the jag it began doing the exact same thing I brought it in to be repaired which was a transmission issue. I let Tony know and he advised me to replace the batter which I did to no avail. I told Tony I couldn t pay for the repairs as obviously it wasn t repaired. Meanwhile the Mercedes is still there and at that point had been there over a year and NOTHING had been repaired. When I informed Tony that I d like to have it towed elsewhere he told me I owed him $1400 for the diagnostic , which coincidentally was the price he quoted for the repairs. I told him that was absurd considering the car is in the same condition. His next excuse for not releasing the Mercedes was that I owed him for the Jaguar that s been parked since I picked it up last year over the same issue. When I went to him to make a final amicable plea for my vehicle he called the police and filed a criminal trespass complaint against preventing me from entering the premises. Talk about a slap in the face. I ve basically had a vehicle stolen from me right under my nose. I can t say my experience is happening to everyone but I d definitely be wary of this business

Current 2 Classic over-charged for my auto repair, had to return my car since was still not repaired correctly and then kept my car over 2 months. When I picked up my car 3 of the 4 corners of my car are damaged with dents and scratches which will now need body repair. Apparently the owner allowed someone to drive my car carelessly and to top it off left my car empty which was dropped off with over half tank of gas. The Owner-Tony failed to take responsibility and accused me to my face of doing the dents/scratches on my car. I would NOT recommend Current 2 Classic to anyone for their poor service, unprofessionalism and no integrity.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Always get all my mechanic work and maintenance done there for both BMWs I own. Can't expect cars to run smoothly when you don't get your car routinely checked/maintained. Always find it funny when people think cars will run smoothly when they do nothing to upkeep them. Then, shocked when car breaks down and now have to pay high cost for repair. Or they own old cars and think the parts will last forever. Or they want the cost of labor to be close to nothing. Love this place. I make an appointment. Ask how long is it going to take to get work done. Work is done when said. I pay for the services rendered and pick up my car.

Not only do they do a good job for a good price, they help get you where you need to go if they aren t available.Super cool guys, super good service. I ve literally only stopped by twice but definitely my new favorite shop for anything I might need

Great place and fair prices. Charged me a fair price to calibrate my speedometer when every where else wanted 75-100+ for a 10 min job. Will definitely go back for future repairs.
