From when I 1st called to taking my to get looked at till yesterday and picking it up, they gave me updates and explained to me which I had already known what it was, I give them a straight 10 for awesome communication. I saved at least $200 from the original mechanic that was charging way more and do less compared to what they did for me and Alex worked on my car and was even there to explain in detail what was going on with my and thank you because not a lot of mechanics communicate with you! I have read all your reviews, and my opinion they are not as these other customers portray them to be! I would take my back to Cordova Automotive. Again thank you for your service and your patience.

I have lived in five different states, owning three different vehicles, did business with over a dozen mechanics. These guys here are hands down the best I ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Best Price. Best Service. Willing to work with customers to figure out best course of action for customer, not the most profitable for themselves. Corporate level professionalism and service, with the same respect and regard as your local mom&pop shops. I recommend all of my family and friends to any Cordova around San Antonio but especially #4 off of SW Military Hwy.

Ladies if you want to be degraded by a mechanic with a machismo attitude. Stay away. A white male with a terrible grill. Told me that bringing my vehicle to get maintenance was a man's job. So I'm out $300 with no brakes. Considering the brake pads I provided didn't fit. (Even tho Advance Auto Parts said they would) Them as professionals should have compared brake pads. Instead they tried to blame the skipping on my brakes to loose motor mounts. I had to have my father in law come to the shop and he saw that, that's what the issue was. NEVER AGAIN.

Everyone was nice and answered all of my questions and concerns. They would communicate with me about what was happening with my warranty. Over all a great service. I will definitely be taking my vehicle back if it needs any maintenance done.

I had a great experience at this shop. They told me exactly what was wrong (rack and pinion bushings). He took the conseration to show me the part underneath my car. I didn't have enough money to fix it so they suggested a lender who gives you credit. It worked out great I got approved. Got my car back and I couldn't be more happier with the work they did. I will definitely come back to the place.Thanks Cordova

Great shop, I always take my cars there for maintenance. Staff is really friendly and it s a nice looking shop as well. Has a waiting area and quick with tire repair and work.

Worst place I ve ever taken my cars to. Had my car for a week didn t do anything to it man kept giving me the runaround about the parts ended up just going for it just for him to tell he was never able to get the parts then proceeded to charge me 300 for a service he wanted to do that I haven t even agreed on !! Do not do business here !!! Do your research and go elsewhere !!

First time ever going to this shop. Everyone at Cordova's seems to only speak Spanish, they use a young kid to translate to English. So basically I showed them my issue by physically showing them and producing the noise for them to hear first hand, and i stated I need this noise gone , they did their own inspection on ground level and the young kid said they needed to put it on lift to see it better. Once they came back with a quote ,they said that it will be $20.00 for inspection, when they never told me they were going to charge me and I never agreed to anything either. I felt that was a sneaky move on their part. As a customer you need to be made aware of any charges if any inspection or work is going to be done. I was told by a girl that worked inside there they never have a problem charging customers and not letting them know about the charges. That's a sorry statement of not being transparent with customers. I was going to go back to have my vehicle fixed there next week when I got paid , but after that sneaky move , I will not be going back and will let others know not to go either. They gave me an impression that they will have hidden charges or fees for all service and labor when job is complete. Overall when I told her why are you trying to charge me when you didn't tell me I was being charged , there was no apology, but a remark saying with no shame, we do this to everyone who comes here and we never have a problem. Well you did this time, and it's sad you treat your customers this way. In conclusion I didn't pay for something I never agreed to and won't ever go back. Apparently this company is struggling to make money ,since their approach is not telling customers about them wanting to charge anyone who goes in for an estimate. There are plenty of businesses I do business with that give free estimates with inspection, they don't fear a customer won't go back , other businesses stand confident customers will return, by being transparent, with outstanding customer service which I have become a loyal retuning customer to places that show these qualities, however this place lacked both. You get only one first impression, Cordova's failed misserably. I would of gave them no stars if possible.In response to your reply:For you saying I didn't understand fee policies.Correction!Never once did anyone state any type of inspection fee/diagnostic fee, as I waited through the whole process of my vehicle being there ,until at the end of it when I was to get my vehicle off lift, I'm sorry you can't understand what your saying in English or Spanish , but lying about you stating your fees before hand is flat face lie, when I never spoke with you (female in office on computer)until I went inside for the paper quote and at that time the boy translated for male cashier wanting $20 payment and the female explained you do that to everyone. Cashier/owner was not English speaking and female was at a computer was speaking from across the room more attentive to her computer than the customer, as having a side conversation with basic responses towards the young boy about the issue , very unprofessional.And again the first and only time I spoke to female about any fee was at the end after everything was done!Have more english speaking employees so any fee can be addressed beforehand of any service being provided instead of using a child to translate it, which is illegal, minors are not to be used for business purposes.Stop the lies! , it won't get you nowhere, but in trouble, Learn to run a business correctly

I highly recommend this place very friendly and honest the owner really shows he cares and is not out to just take your money the workers are also friendly. I will most definitely be going back for any work my vehicle will need .I was very pleased with my whole experience at this place ..

I previously had my car serviced at the Hyundai Dealership and had a horrible experience. Cordova had my car ready to go on the same day I dropped it off. The convenience of sending the estimate via text was EXTREMELY helpful so there was no delay in my repairs. This is now my GO TO mechanic shop. Thank you Cordova!

Tried calling another known Auto AC repair company close to this location, but they were rude and almost unwilling to help. Google reviewed Cordova and gave them a call, helpful from the moment we spoke and able to get in right then to have my son s car looked at in just minutes after arriving. Estimate was fair and agreed to the work. Waited in the lobby as they had to order the part, which is understandable, but done within a few hours and a big difference with how the AC was operating. Highly recommend Cordova and will be using them again for other repairs when needed.

Long story short, I went to a different shop and they fixed what cordova missed which saved me having to check head gaskets...My family had some work done here before I thought everything would be good this time as well. But nah, I took it to another shop and it turned out a cap was installed with incorrectly causing pressure loss in the cooling system. Cordova specifically told me they check the lines, radiator, connections, etc. They said most likely it was head gaskets and that I needed to have that checked but that they didn't do that service. We had another shop check it and they said it was not the head gaskets but instead that radiator that was leaking and needed replacement. We fixed the radiator and that solved our overheating issue. Cordova missed the radiator leak which was supposedly inspected. Saved alot of money by going to a different shop that actually inspected the truck properly.

So happy I chose Cordova #4 - they explained the fix to my car issues and gave me some future recommendations. I now feel safe on the highway again because of them. Will definitely return.Unfortunate that I had to get my car repaired again, BUT VERY FORTUNATE that they provided excellent service and a super low price. One of the workers there allowed me to show him what was wrong with my car and he was able to fix it really understanding and was willing to fix the problem I would definitely go again and you could tell that their workers there are really trustworthy would definitely recommend

Did an amazing job my car runs brand new. Not only did they do an exceptional job but the service was amazing. Got the car in and out in a few days and waited for us to pick up our car when we were running late getting there. Timely in work done and brake job was great but one of the issues persists after 2 attempts as issue diagnosed was addressed but check engine light kept coming back on. Those we interacted with were respectful but part of the issue we felt was our lack language skills, speaking limited Spanish. We feel the problem may have been beyond their level of expertise but the warranty they gave was honored. Thank you for that.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Brakes

I m very happy with the service I received from Cordova it was quite a distance from my home however well worth the trip. They were efficient and well versed in knowledge in their craft I sat outside and watched the other mechanics working and the worked diligently and quickly ( not milking the clock for more hourly pay).They were clean no dirt on people s cars. The only thing bad I could say is the price was a little more than my quote however they did take off some of charge and it ended up only $50 more I will be going back to have my rear brakes done. I will recommend them.Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes
