Working with Mike Flores was great. He was very accommodating and provided me with the information that I needed to make my purchase. Mike is an outstanding salesman & continously went out of his way to ensure that everything went well.There was some misunderstanding with some fine print, but this dealership has regained my trust by making things right. They diligently worked on a resolution & provided me with updates as they did it. I'm changing my review to reflect the auto purchase experience that I went through with this dealer. The team was swift on resolving the issue, plus ensuring that clear communication is provided to new customers. Great job team, I appreciate it.

Update: CAVENDER Collision is handling the issues and quite pleased with their service and promptness already. While it should have been done right the first time, they have taken extra steps to alleviate the burden of me not having a vehicle again or having to take time out of my day to get this handled. Thank you!Original PostI took my vehicle in due to a minor small manufacturer paint defect on the roof of my brand new 2024 Yukon AT4. While I realize the process to fix it was more complicated, it took a little over two weeks to get back and when I did, my car was missing parts, not put back together properly, and it was completely filthy with oily hand print stains and chalky white mess throughout. My seatbelt doesn t even properly secure me. I am so disappointed that there was no quality check and in the condition I received my Yukon back which I had only owned less than a month before I put it in your care. You can clearly see from the pictures the lack of care that was taken. Very disappointed and would give 0 Stars if I could. There is NO confidence in Cavender if this is their standard.

Upon our arrival, we were in search of the opportunity to trade my Corvette for a more family-oriented vehicle. Although there was a brief wait due to the high volume of shoppers, Luis, our Sales Advisor, approached us with the utmost professionalism, friendliness, and an impressive level of knowledge.Luis took the time to inquire about our specific needs and exhibited remarkable patience, as my wife and I deliberated on our decision. It is worth noting that Luis extended a courteous and unhurried approach, even though our visit took place just one hour before the store's closing time. Following our interaction with Luis, we were directed to the finance advisor, Tony, who continued to uphold the same standards of professionalism that we had experienced with Luis.In light of our outstanding experience, I wholeheartedly recommend considering a visit to Cavender Buick GMC North for your next car or truck purchase. Initially went to Gunn Buick GMC dealership and had a not so great experience with the sales rep. It was a Saturday and a busy day for them however the poor customer service was uncalled for. Left there and went straight to Cavender Buick Dealership and was immediately greeted with a smile and welcome from Perla. I had the pleasure of working with her and Logan during my shopping experience. I let them know I was just browsing but did have a specific car in mind. Regardless of how busy of a day it was and yes it seemed busy both took the time to show me around and answer all my questions, I felt at ease! The positive energy from these two felt genuine. We toured the facility, test drove and got down to the finance portion. Overall it was a great experience even though I went in to just browse after working with those two I felt confident and decided I d make a purchase that day. I traded in my 2019 and drove off with a 2024. I would recommend asking for either one of these reps when stopping by.

If anyone is looking for an easy, fast, and VIP experience when purchasing a vehicle, look no further! I was referred to this dealership by a friend who recommended Jose Fernandez, who oversees several of the Cavender dealerships in San Antonio and surrounding areas. I texted him on a Saturday morning and within 15 mins I was called by the GM of the North 281 dealership, Zach Hale, who had two GMCs lined up at VIP areas for me to test drive. From the moment I arrived I was greeted with smiles and we can get it done attitudes! Such a welcoming staff, who made buying a car the easiest experience ever! My sales advisor, Elaine, was absolutely THE most knowledgeable and reliable advisor I have ever seen! She even personally delivered my Lexus LX600 to my home and had us sign the paperwork on the spot, nothing about it was hard. The complete opposite! I will never buy from another dealership again. Thank you Jose, Elaine, Zach and Raquel for making this experience so pleasurable, seamless and stress free! Ya ll rock!

I m not big on reviews but I do highly value them as a consumer so I m taking the time to give the staff at Cavender Buick GMC North, especially Elijah M, our sales rep, and a shout out to our Finance Manager, Arnulfo G. Eli was persistent in getting us top $$ on your trade to help get us into the used SUV our growing family needed. He negotiated some over-the-top touchups to make my wife and I even more in love with the vehicle!And oh, for all you other self-made home mechanics who want to ensure the used car you re buying, you are not getting a lemon, well they video the inspections as they intake the car! We got to see why they only replaced the back brakes and not the front, when the front get used more. They showed us their service dept measuring tire tread and more! I tell you, that made me even more confident I was buying a quality used car.And the Cavender protection is a MUST! Ceramic coating and interior protection beyond scotch guard with a 5 yr warranty and ability to get reapplied up to 1 per year during the 5 years is a no brainer in protecting your investment and keep it looking good!I already came pre approved with terms, a budget, and a 3rd party warranty, but again, they were determined to provide top service, and boy did they! Arnulfo helped find a manufacturer warranty that covered the whole terms of my loan and the estimated miles my family will put on it, for nearly the same price as what I was planning but for a year less and 10k less miles.Finally, the cherry was the call today by Eli making sure I m happy with our purchase and if there was anything I had come across I was unsatisfactory with now. My Ford radio is laggy and he said, I ve got you! Bring it by and if we can t fix it, he ll send to Ford and put me in a loaner.The pics don t do the detail justice as it was raining last night when we took the car home, and again today, but dang!Just WOW with the whole deal! We bought with confidence!

Ricardo Ruvalcaba took excellent care of me when it came time to take my Terrain in for service. Everyone at the dealership was so nice and accommodating. From the moment I got to the service area, I was greeted by a team member who helped check me in while my service advisor was finishing up with another customer. I decided to wait on my vehicle and make myself comfortable in the customer waiting room with the big plushy chairs, TVs, snacks, and even a desk area where I was able to set up my work laptop to get some work done. I also got text notifications alerting me on the progress of my maintenance each step of the way with the option of paying online to help speed up the checkout process. Cavender GMC North really know great customer service!

Dropped truck off on a Monday. Jose was quick to get the truck inspected and parts ordered. Tech was struggling to get truck done on time, so Jose stepped up and helped him. Work came out great, no complaints. Jose is fantastic to work with. I will be requesting him from here on out for service.

I had a great and very modern experience dealing with Cavender GMC. I am located outside of San Antonio and did the majority of the paperwork over text, phone calls and online. Logan was great enough to do the deal over text when it was convenient which made the whole process easy as well. To top it all off he drove our new vehicle to us, picked up our trade-in and drove it away. This is one of the easiest car deals I ve ever been involved with. Their service and communication were all top-notch.

This place has integrity.I had been working with the salesperson Reagan, and she was very helpful as we checked out a used Explorer ST we had our eye on. We were this close to buying it all the paperwork was signed and everything.My wife and I were waiting for the financing to go through, when someone at their Ford affiliate let them know that there was a defect in the transmission due to an aftermarket modification done by the previous owner.A Cavendar associate let us know immediately and said they couldn t sell the vehicle to anyone in good conscience and in fact it wouldn t be sold retail at all now that they knew about the issue.I had test driven it twice and didn t suspect anything wrong with the transmission. This dealership could easily have bet that the transmission wouldn t fail until a few weeks/months after I bought it. And when it eventually did I would have been stuck with a $5k bill, b/c warranty doesn t cover something that s been modified Instead, this dealership took the hit by foregoing a decent sale. I appreciate the honesty this took.If anyone out there is worried about getting a car that turns out to be a lemon, just go to this dealership and you re in good hands.

We gave the sales folks 2 chances to try to help us out with purchasing a vehicle and they failed us both times. First of all I should say that the GM Zack responded quickly to my call after my last visit and handled the conversation/situation professionally, unlike his staff. I feel he deserves a better sales staff who can share his vision, attitude and customer appreciation. After all, it's my money going into the dealerships', not the other way. First time, we saw the vehicle we liked, talked with the sales agent and agreed to wait for her call me next day to inform us when the vehicle is ready for sale after having the shop look at it. No one calls, I call at noon to be informed the car was already sold. We just waisted our time. Second time we text the sales agent 30 minutes before arriving to the dealership just to find out the car was not even at the dealership that morning and it was used as a loaner for someone else. For 30 minutes the sales agent gave us the run around about having to get the keys from her manager till we found out its still being used as a loaner that day and the folks driving it may still need it. She brought her manager and apparently lied to him that we were leaving because we had a 4pm appointment, not because we were waiting on nothing. It was still 12:30pm. We never mentioned any appointments, just a made up story. The sales manager flipped out on me just for telling him lets go to the front desk to get the GM contact info as he was eager to have us out of the dealership, we were both talking in a loud tone in the lobby after he started talking aggressively to me. did not provide any apology or arrangement to complete the purchase process. You WILL notice as soon as you step inside the lobby that NO ONE will approach you asking if you need help or looking to make a purchase.

I came here after visiting other GMC dealerships and talking with a couple through text and email. My salesperson was Perla Moreno and she was absolutely amazing. She listened, did not use pressure sales tactics and we were able to come to a good deal. I would highly recommend her for future sales!

2 stars only because the gentleman in service department were very kind to my son and I. I had an appointment for noon for an oil change that took until after 4pm to get me out.What's the point in making an appointment if it's going to take 4 hours or more to get a damn oil change. I'm grateful for the gentleman who kept on the mechanics to get my truck done, but I will never come back here again. I urge anyone to avoid this place, if you need oil change. Just go to take 5 as they are very professional and get the job done in a timely manner.

Over charged for parts and labor. Water pump can buy at Auto Zone for $105. I was charged $340! And I have changed one out before on this year model GMC truck before. Took me 45 mins, including having to remove intake to access it. I was charged $550 in labor!I had to have truck towed there in case issue was transmission related (power train warranty still active). So with having to pay $225 diagnostic fee anyway, decided to test your service center to see what they would charge me. They failed! I even shared the experience with my service agent and assuming eh didn t share with service manager b/c nobody ever reached out to talk through and possibly find a way to make it better. I will never buy another vehicle from any of the Cavender dealerships and will make sure and share this through social media and personal friends and family any chance I get. Truly poor all around.

My husband and I had a great experience at Cavender Buick GMC. We were helped by Kolin. We were looking for a jeep gladiator and were comparing different prices etc. Cavender had a better option as far as price and mileage. The financing was easy, I did a trade in on my 2018 Maserati levante. Happy with the purchase and the service received.

Salesmen was really good. Finance lady added GAP and extended warranty without asking me if I wanted it. I m glad I looked at the final price before leaving or it would ve been almost 10k more. Also, no one explained to me beforehand that the rebates are only honored if you finance with the dealership banks. My bank offered a way better interest rate. Besides that really love the truck, GMC Sierra 1500 AT4. Amazing looking truck and drives beautifully. Would give 5 stars if finance lady explained everything beforehand, felt like she snuck that stuff in there without asking.

Cavender Team:Our current purchase makes the fifth GMC purchased from Cavender Buick GMC North. The folks at Cavender in the service department did an exceptional job trying to fix a GM motor issue on my 2021 Sierra Denali, but unfortunately could not resolve the issue. Hats off to Ricky, my 2021 was just an anomaly. Hind, in sales did a super job with finding the right truck, and Zachary made the numbers work. Tony in finance has been there with us for all the truck purchases and trade-ins. It is truly an enjoyable experience working with Tony. I was extremely happy with the Zero Percent financing option, and the warranty package that I chose. There was only one GMC purchased from on another dealer, but that was because it was the right fit at the right time for our youngest son. Cavender has our business hands down. Bought a used 2021 truck from GMC Cavender. Randy is great but I was playing deal or no deal for hours with his bosses. They use deceptive marketing by bringing military families in and saying all oil changes are free for them. But pull a bait and switch when they upsell you to a diesel. The free oil changes are not included for diesels somehow. It all came down to a windshield that was broken that I noticed on the test drive. They said it was fixed. Not good enough. I told them if it wasn t replaced then I am not going home with the car After that, they provided me a we owe . They contract with an Auto glass company for the install. And ill spare the reader the details. But it was completed at no charge.Buying a car is awful, no matter how you look at it. They made it smooth but it could be less painful.I ve developed a relationship with my seller, Randy. He is a genuine guy. His knowledge of the GMC trucks was thorough. Much better than his Alamo Toyota counterparts.I rate Randy 5/5. His Cavender bosses get a 3/5. 4/5 average is the review.

My experience was fabulous from start to finish! Ilijah was able to work a deal after we had been told for months it was impossible! He was able to answer all of my questions and had so much knowledge about the particular car I bought! 10/10 will recommend him to everyone I know!

Everyone was so nice and helpful. Mike Flores went out of his way to let me drive multiple trucks and work up numbers and I drove away with a 2022 Elevation. Tony in finance did a great job with the paperwork and went over everything with me to make sure I was good with everything and understood it all. I highly recommend Cavender Buick GMC to anyone interested in a new vehicle.

Let's be honest, discovering a missing spare tire after driving your new car home isn't ideal. Especially in my case, since Cavender Buick GMC North is a five-hour drive away. It happened back in December 2023 with my new car purchase.To their credit, David Alcantar at Cavender Buick GMC North stepped in to help. The missing spare and jack assembly were on backorder and needed to be shipped internationally. This wasn't great news, but David communicated the situation clearly.There were definitely delays while waiting for the parts. However, Cavender Buick GMC North did eventually ship the spare and jack assembly directly to me via UPS once they arrived.While it wasn't the smoothest experience, they did resolve the issue in the end. If you're looking for a dealership that prioritizes customer service, this review should be the deciding factor. If you value customer service, even if it takes some effort, Cavender Buick GMC North is worth considering.

I was told I would be provided my finance pwk via email and to this day I still haven't received it. It makes me feel like something shady is going behind the scenes because I've been told 3 times already by my sales man that the pwk will be emailed to me shortly and noting comes in. Now they are also telling me that it takes 20 days for my trade in to be paid off and I'm stuck with that payment as well. There's a lack of communication and urgency post sale and that's not right. It makes me feel like customers don't matter after they leave the lot
