These guys are absolutely amazing. Hector, the owner even text me post work to find out how everything is running with my 98 Cobra after they replaced all the engine valve seals and gaskets. I only trust them to work on my Cobra ever since meineke put the wrong brakes on and almost killed me and my daughters.

This was my first visit to CarTech Automotive. I left my vehicle and they got it fixed. I like that Hector informed me of the problem first and got to work, Hector is a polite, courteous, friendly person and he knows his stuff. Thank you Hector for all you did to make sure I wouldn't have problems in the future.

Had issues with my Camry s front end tire and alignment. Hector took the time to explain to me the issues and the process to repair my auto.No frills no surprises-just straight forward talking and problem solving.I trust Hector and will rely on him in the future-I will also highly recommend.

Mr Hector has always been able to take care of my auto needs. He is very Professional and has many times got me in on short notice. I have went to him for 3 different vehicles and he has always taken care of me and the family.

Took my car for a clutch, transmission flush and cv axle. Hector took care of my car good, I recommend this shop to anyone that needs anything done.

I don t normally take my cars to a shop because they tend to try and get me to add a ton of nonsense stuff that aren t necessary and charge a ton plus they tend to make my car worse or not inform me about other things I should get repaired, but this time I had to, got quotes from several different places and was getting quotes between 1500 to 2k to replace my starter on my 2014 Jeep Cherokee, I then came across Cartech, and glad I did, they didn t give me any bull and was more than half the price then everyone else, on top of that I was able to change out my brakes and caliber which was needed and was still able to save money, it was completely the next day, I ended up driving my vehicle to the pan handle the following day with no issues, which means a lot, last time I used a shop, my car went down after just a few miles which is why I lost a lot of trust in shops, instead of that shop warning me that it had other issues, they just let it go, not this shop, they gave me a small list of things I should replace or repair and why it would be needed in the future, I will definitely be coming back to finish out my last repair, thanks Cartech, you guys are awesome!

Rattling under the hood... AltimaIn a nutshell I hit a curb, afterwhich an annoying rattling would come and go while operating my vehicle. It took just a few hrs to diagnose and repair. Turned out to be the motor mounds. Below list a few key points for my rating 5 stars.Turnaround time a plusWorkmanship is excellentCommunication is great (no surprises no, up selling, all service done was approved by me 1st)This is my 2nd time here. 1st time brakes this time motor mounds. My overall satisfaction is a 10 out of 10. A definite recommend.

Went to have engine/ transmission repair done. The service technician couldn t tell me exactly was wrong with engine. I had to use an outside adjuster to breakdown what was wrong with the engine and what needed repaired. I gave Cartech the quote of what the adjuster was saying that Cartech agreed to work on. I asked technician what exactly I was paying for he had a difficult time explaining the out of pocket cost I had to pay. There a significant difference in cost. Definitely overpriced.All Hector could say that this is what the system is saying. That he was unable to breakdown what I had to pay for. When I informed the technician that the vehicle was being moved because he was not going to work on the transmission. Hector moved the car outside the front bumper was not put on correctly and just threw the car key into the car and walked off. After car was moved to another facility for further diagnosis. The engine is spilling out oil, causing it to spill over the spark plugs and coils. Causing further damage to my vehicle. Very unprofessional.Services: Engine repair, Transmission repair

I had a tricky situation with my car where it had multiple issues and somehow hector was able to help me with all the issues and in a timely manner. He stuck to his word with everything he said, he gave a fair price for the work done, and was kind enough to go through step by step of his work with me. I m more than satisfied with this service.

I took my vehicle in for a repair that was difficult. My serpentine belt had come off numerous times because the bracket that held the fan pulley had sheered off when repairs had been done on a previous occasion. The bolt needed to be tapped out.I have trust issues with my vehicle, but it seems that I left it in quite capable hands.Hector, who is the only man I ever spoke with at CarTech, made me feel as if no problem was to big for him to handle or comprehend while being compassionate and understanding.The job I brought him had time constraints as well monetary criteria. I absolutely needed my vehicle by a certain date and the cost could only be so much. He led me through financing and what I could do to offset parts cost. He was informative and straight forward and we were able to agree on price as well as when the job would be completed.I picked up my Isuzu Rodeo before 6pm today and he and those who worked on my vehicle did an outstanding job.I would recommend CarTech Automotive to anyone. I thank Hector for a job well done.

I called him and he got me in quickly and gave me a very reasonable price for the work. I want to take my car anywhere else in San Antonio. I highly recommend Cartech automotive!

They replaced a couple of actuators for me. It took them longer than was originally stated, in fact they kept the vehicle 24hrs. The job was just short of $800, but without any prior estimates, I agreed. They accomplished what I wanted, but in doing so uncovered another related issue that was going to require a lot more time and removing the dash, resulting in another $1500. I passed, for now. The shop was convenient to me, not too busy and the staff was nice. Hector was very personable, and understanding. Will I use them again, probably.Service: A/C services

I can t live without air conditioning in San Antonio- especially during this heat wave. Hector diagnosed the problem and had me back on the road in no time. He is professional, courteous, and his work is impeccable! I would definitely refer him to anyone needing quality work. I took my vehicle in several times here and always felt they're a bit high priced. The last estimate Hector gave me was for over $2,300 to do a complete air conditioner job, compressor and all, on a 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse. This time before I agreed to get it fixed here, I went to 3 other places and got estimates. All were around $1,000 to $1,200, about half of what Hector was going to charge. Well I settled on Firestone and got a whole new AC system for $975. Sorry, but I'm never going back to CarTech. Just got this truck brand-new everything looked great coming off a lot and day and a half later oil s coming out of every work this from the transmission. I kind of knew what to expect I took it to Cartech Automotive Transmission Repair, After their inspection they let me know that what I thought was the problem is the problem. Upon further review while installing the transmission they realize there was a couple other issues and I kind of have expected to see that anyway given the fact that it s a used F250 work truck. Repairs were done the truck moved better than ever I m bringing it back for some more repairs later he does a great job he s honest and he keeps you informed.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I gave them a call saying I needed some transmission lines and my A/C seals replaced on my 99 Silverado, they scheduled me in the next morning and got everything fixed up pretty quick. They changed out the transmission for my suburban a couple years ago, and did a great job. They also do engine cleaning, which my husband has had them do several times.

The employees at CarTech are amazing! They made an unfortunate situation much easier to deal with. Hector was very understanding to my situation. I called over a dozen different places for quoted, and CarTech was the most affordable by far. Not only were they the lowest price, but their service is outstanding. I will definitely be taking my vehicles to CarTech for any work in the future.

I m happy with the work that s been done on my car at CarTech. A few months ago they replaced the struts on my car. Recently they replace the alternator and the battery. Very helpful and honest. They were able to tell me what the issues were at hand and pointed out other issues I was not aware of. It seemed the price was a little on the high side, however there were payment assistant options. They were honest, up-front, and i did not feel pressured. They were able to point out other repairs that had been done incorrectly. I was even offered a ride after dropping off my vehicle. Overall very helpful, great service.Service: Auto detailing
