So I made this appointment on the Internet last night for today I m a first time Brake Check patron get the $20 off coupon thingy put your vehicle info in and it quotes you a price. When I got there, there were a few people ahead of me but everything went pretty fast and smooth. I was out of there before the end of the hour I didn t have to pay too much more lol and I felt at home. I ll definitely trust these guys with my vehicle and to be fair and try and get the best price they can for me.

The team at Brake Check on San Pedro is awesome! I ve been twice - once for brakes and once oil change. They take the time to explain exactly what s going on with my car and make sure I understand what s going on. They also offer alternatives when/if budget is a concern.As a single mom, it s nice to find a place where they actually care and take the time to teach me without making me feel dumb.Thanks guys!

Set up a last minute Monday morning brake check appointment. John was friendly and informative. There was no other customers at the time I arrived. They performed a free inspection of front and rear. They were extremely honest turned out I didn t need new pads but did need my rotors resurfaced so opted to service my front axle. Prices are fair, considering the convenience. Extremely happy with my experience here. Suggestions for the waiting area would be coffee or water but they at least had WiFi.

John always takes care me when I come thru. But yesterday his assistant manager Samantha helped me out. And I have to say she truly was an extension of John. She knows how to talk to customers, make them feel welcomed. I just needed an alignment yesterday morning. And was out in a hour. Ended up coming back ONLY because I bought new tires that same day. So I had them recheck and adjust. Even faster turnaround. And found out he runs two stores, if you can t catch him here find him at blanco location!

Had brake issues. Brake Check tackled the problem. Issues all gone! Excellent workmanship.Employees dedicated to customer satisfaction. The manager's (john) professionalism spoke volumes. His integrity at handling my concerns went above and beyond in my case. Thanks to everyone at Brake Check. Will be back with my other vehicles for service.

I had a great experience at Brake Check yesterday with John. He was so friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He did a free inspection and walked me through it by showing me my car. Not once did I feel like he was overselling something or that he was taking advantage of me being a girl like other places I ve gone in town. I had my brake fluid changed. The price was great! I saved almost $70 by going here instead of the dealership. He got me in and back on the road very quickly. I highly recommend going here.

Needed new shocks and struts on my 2020 Tahoe, dealer quoted $5,600. Stopped by Brake Check for a quote... $3,500. They also saw my brakes were close to end of life and brake fluid was low. They were able to take care of btakes and shocks for $1,200 less than dealer quote for just shocks and I was taken care of same day! Excellent service. They were transparent the entire process, showed me everything along the way and after the work was complete!

This is my one stop maintenance. John takes professional pleasure in showing you the options and guiding you where you can save the most money with highest quality and strategic warranties. You don't need to waste money at the dealership. I spent 900 on 3 repairs which the Chevy dealer quoted me 900 for 1 minor repair. I have to bring my and my family's business here permanently. In the short time that I've known him, he feels like an old friend and I've been treated like family. From the start. If you're looking for a shop you can trust, look no further.

John was amazing. He showed me what was wrong, and pointed out something else that needed to be replaced. He mentioned doing a tune up, I informed him that the spark plugs and filters had been replaced already. He told me that he wanted to hook it up to find out why it was misfiring. He figured it out.I went in to get my brakes done, and left with getting the control arm and a coil replaced as well. Not what I was expecting but I am forever grateful for him informing me what needed to be replaced. Because of him I feel safer driving my vehicle. I have 4 kids and a grandson and they will be safe as well.Thank you, thank you, thank you.

My brakes were past due and I stopped to get a quote and they were able to get my car in the same day. I am back on the road safe and they did an amazing job. Great customer service.

This place was busy with returning customers that were all extremely satisfied. I was so impressed by the level of organizational efficiency and professionalism they operate on. John and team were able to get our vehicle in for inspection quickly without appointment. They thoroughly inspected and explained visually and in layman s terms for my mother and myself and instead of insisting on selling us on a product that was not needed, they spent time educating us and what we should be looking out for. Instead of short term sale like many other places, they were able to secure confidence and trust and we will be using their services for other than just brakes in future. I hear they may be selling and servicing tires at great price points next! Thanks again guys. Very professional and friendly, hard to find places and staff like this nowadays. Keep up great work.

Really really appreciative of the honest service I got with my oil change today. I'm not the most knowledgable in regards to vehicle maintenance, so I tend to be wary when visiting new shops. I live a bit too far to go to my usual place now, but I'm glad I chose to come here. They didn't cajole me into any unnecessary service and I felt comfortable putting my trust into them. Thank you to these friendly faces for taking care of my precious Judas Prius.

John the team did an INCREDIBLE job getting me back on the road, promptly. What I truly enjoyed was John's personable approach to my situation. He broke everything down with a sensitive awareness of my issue. He also proactively showed me next steps to take in order to get myself back to excellent status with my vehicle.Not every service station takes care of their customers like John and his team have. The service here was very friendly. They were busy but I still felt like they worked hard to not have me there long. I do not know much about cars and he took the time to fully explain what I needed done without trying to pressure me. I felt like I was given all the possible options from the most expensive to least and the cause and affect of each.

These guys are going to be in business for as long as they keep doing it better than anyone else. The only thing that could of made my experience better is if it was free. LolBut even there price beat every other place I checked. I am confident that the job was well done.

So happy that my car drives like it did when I first bought it. I knew she needed work and was willing to do whatever it took to get her back to tip top shape. John was with me every step of the way and communicating with me about everything. What I liked about John was he was honest about everything. I know my tires still had tread on them and still had life but I also had a bad tire. Discount tire always telling me I need to replace them asap but John told me that I had some time. Truly appreciated that! Don t try to upsell me if I have time. Anthony had worked on my car and wow.. I am so glad that she is back toRiding smooth. No hiccups at all with the work that was done. Thank you gentlemen for getting my girl back to running like a dream!

Will not be going anywhere else for an oil change ever again! The customer service was amazing, John was more than helpful and respectful! My car was done in 20 mins and have I mentioned they have the best deals I've ever seen?? 10/10 recommend!

I appreciate genuine people and 5 star service like what I am. Today made me feel like my hard earned money didn t go to waste. I m also happy I get a lifetime warranty on my brake pads. If y all ever get rid of John and his crew. That would be the stupidest decision y all could ever make.

Absolutely terrific service. Educated me on what needed to be done. Shared the reality of my worn out pads and scored rotors. Got the work done in less than the estimated time, and the price was reasonable and way better than the dealer. Great job John and team!

My experience there was with an employee named Andrew. He was great! I had called ahead about services & he said no problem getting me in for which fit my need. I also asked to be shown results live of particular test which he did and I added an oil change on my trip also as the service was professional & friendly. I will recommend to others!

I picked up my car after an alignment. The brake pedal went to the floor. Low brake fluid light was on. It was close to closing time. I m a mechanic but I don t have an alignment machine. I get it to my shop to find a busted brake line. I drive a fast sports car BMW 645ci. Thinking the tech took it for a joy ride and had to slam on the brakes to avoid a wreck. The battery in my trunk came loose and slid to my back seat. He had to have known about the failure but no one said anything to me. Luckily I made it to my shop before the brakes went out completely. I ordered the brake hose $80 plus about 4 hours labor to replace as it runs from abs module down the body in a tight area next to exhaust manifold. If I wasn t a mechanic bmw would charge 1k for this repair maybe more.

Service was pretty slow. Took about 3 1/2 hours to do rotors and pads On a two wheel drive vehicle. They moved multiple cars in and out before touching my car. At the end there was A problem with the brake fluid that they couldn t figure out. Probably won t recommend to go here to anyone.

Is 1 the lowest option? After my wife had to return for a 2nd time to correct errors in original brake replacement, technician stated that a pin was not in stock and needed to be ordered. 10 minutes later they miraculously found the part in a "parts box" and eventually "completed" the job. The next time she drove it a loud knocking sound concerned her and she assumed that it was a tire issue as the brakes had just been worked on TWICE. After a tow and in depth diagnostic work on the tires, it was found that the wrong part had been used. In addition to damaging the rim, the manager stated that she should have towed it back to them for a THIRD attempt at a brake repair and refused to reimburse the money we spent on towing and correction of their mistake. This doesn't account for multiple trips, being down a vehicle with 3 kids, late to work or the possibility of something much worse. I may give them a final chance to rectify before legal recouse is taken. Dount they will make it right though. Awful experience.We spoke to Michael, John and Juan who I understand is the tech, corporate director and area VP (in order). I'll reach out again to try and resolve. We're only wanting our costs deducted for the job we are STILL paying for. Happy to remove/edit post when the right thing is done. I'll call when my wife and I are off work.

Paid for a resurface of rotors with new pads. they were not done correctly. Vehicle would shake when breaking at low speed. After I took it back for another resurface the Vehicle was now shaking at 60mph when breaking. I took it back again and they wanted to charge me again for another resurface. Spoke to manager and said they couldn't do anything about it. Took my loss and went to another location.
