As I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted by the manager. I felt as if I was a long time customer there.As I sat in the waiting area I observed how well all the employees worked together. I also noted the excellent phone etiquette from one of the employees as I sat there. Great customer service overall.I highly recommend Brake Check.

My son started driving and I recently bought him a 2009 Camry that needed a brake job. I shopped around for a few quotes but Brake Check gave me the best deal. I am impressed with the customer service and professionalism in this store. Barry hands down is a great manager; extremely approachable and honest - he did not try to upsell me at all, in fact he let me walk out of the store saving more money and peace of mind that my son won t have any brake issues on the road. They also report all services done to CarFax.I would encourage corporate to offer military discounts due to the high volume of service members in the area, but Barry still gave me a great deal. Thanks Brake Check, Barry and team - keep up the strong work.

I went for an oil change pro - didn t get one. In fact, my car wouldn t turn on anymore. Not only did the two gentlemen spend an hour and a half in my company (discussing the specifics of all the possible parts and what may be wrong), they both took turns with their personal vehicles trying to jump my car. They even recommended places to go nearby. They truly made the situation feel light as a feather and were so incredibly helpful. I forgot to ask their names, but will continue to go here in the future for excellent customer service and attentiveness!

Great offer on an alignment for my vehicle. The offer is for $69.99 for a one-time alignment, or &99.99 for as many alignments at any Brake Check as necessary for 3 full years. Wow! That s an offer so good, why would I go anywhere else? And the Customer Service was great too.

Always get my oil changes done at brake check but will never come back to this location. Came here about a month ago right after work so it was about 4:10-15pm, I was approached by who looks like the manager and I asked could I get an oil change. This manager tells me "sorry I just sent my guy to lunch, we're shortstaffed, and by the time he gets back it will be 5pm already" I was like ummm.... ok. He rejected my oil change, so I googled the time they close and its not until 6pm so I was really bothered by that. Finally I drove to the one off frontage rd and they took me right away. I just couldn't understand why that manager couldn't just do the oil change for me himself. 0 stars for this location. Best locations so far is Fredericksburg and frontage rd.

Steven was fantastic - very informative, attentive, and kind. He talked to me about the things I didn t understand and was patient while I made decisions. I never got the feeling he was trying to pressure me, or anything remotely like that. In fact, he gave me a discount despite my taking up his time with questions and such. He was straightforward and honest, and I was very pleasantly impressed by both him and his colleagues. I will be using this specific brake check in the future and recommending it to people I know!!

Wonderful service at this location. I initially spoke with Berry to schedule an appointment for Friday but he was able to bring me in earlier. The whole process was very smooth and he did a wonderful job of explaining what was wrong with my car. To fix it was reasonable, and the crew did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend the Alamo Heights location to anyone. The communication is amazing and the service is worth the price. I will definitely be returning!

I've been a Brake Check customer for over 30 years and personally met and chatted with John Peveto on an airplane flight to Dallas back in early 80. After meeting him I chose to check Brake Check out. The staff and the service deserves 10 stars. The work is done right and they show and explain what is needed without pressure at a reasonable price. I have and will continue my relationship with Brake Check!

I took my car in for an appointment to get my brakes replaced. Steven was extremely helpful and professional throughout the process, even with the shop being really busy he took care of me and explained it all, broke down pricing, etc. Just a great experience overall and I d recommend this location to anyone, and will be back.

Excellent service and a very helpful positive attitude. There was an error from a previous repair, however they were honest and owned the mistake and made the proper repairs with no charge. The manager, Barry*, is the best auto shop manager I've worked with. Very transparent, understands customer, and straight to the point. Will appropriately express uncertainty when diagnosing cars and properly explain. Also discusses multiple options to take. He took good care of our cars! Highly recommend this place.

Great experience. My truck needed an alignment and they were able to fit me in right away as in 5 mins after I called! Called Saturday when they opened, received a 1:00 appointment and had the car by 4:00. Text updates throughout with photos were helpful. When I found out Manager Jaime was no longer at the location I'm used to taking my vehicles i demanded to know where he had gone ! Well turns out he moved to a much nicer lobby and location, not only was my LS460 taken care of like family but just around the corner was a nice Mexican restaurant where I grabbed myself a bite to eat, before I knew it Jaime was calling me to inform me that my vehicle was ready for pickup. You just can't get Amazing service with a smile anywhere else. I will continue to recommend friends and family to visit wherever this gentlemen is located.Thanks Jaime !!!!

Loved every aspect of the experience. Excellent customer service. Was greeted by name and a hand shake. Service was provided on time. Was registered in the system, given options of service, and educated. Most importantly as a woman I did not fill pressured to receive services that were not necessary, felt very comfortable. Kudos to the manager of that location and his team for showing such professionalism. Will definitely be returning for the next oil change. Worth going out of my way to pass over the closer location who lacked these traits. 5 stars, highly recommend. See you next time gentlemen and thank you!Service: Oil change
