It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust. I've been using these guys for years and they've always given me a fair price and have never offered services I didn't need.They're quick, friendly and honest. The must haves for a mechanic.

I definitely recommend these guys for their honesty alone! The dealership told me after 100,000 miles I would need to flush my transmission fluid. However, Robert from Blackmon's informed me that this is actually not the case and new fluid could damage the transmission. I also had my car checked for possible issues with the suspension. Steve performed a thorough inspection, even going on a ride along with me so I could explain to him the vibrations I was feeling. He said that a few things were slightly off, but not enough to require any costly repairs. They could have easily followed the dealership's recommendations and also told me that I needed to fix those minor issues with my suspension and gotten a couple thousand dollars from me. It's hard to find honest repair shops like this anymore.Service: Vehicle Inspection

I took it in and they diagnosed it in an hour. And I brought it back the next day and it was fixed in 3 hours. Super quick and timely service. I definitely appreciate their speed and professionalism.

These gentlemen know exactly what they are doing. They are very thorough and fair. They are not out to rip off the people that do not know much about motors or vehicles. I heard about them through word of mouth but I had to write this review to let everyone else know. Give these guys a chance and you will not be disappointed. I went here after going to a dealership mechanic. They are friendly and personable. UPDATE. I went back to have my front brakes changed. They gave me a fair price and didn't disappoint. These guys are solid. I recommend them over the dealerships and the franchise places.

These are our go-to mechanics. Such great people. We were referred to them by our family and now they're the only ones who take care of our cars. Couldnt ask for better people, prices are reasonable and I'm not taken advantage of just because I'm a woman (fun fact, my father is a mechanic and I know more about cars than my husband does! )

I have been taking my vehicles to Blackmon's Garage for about 10 years. I highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a good honest mechanic. They are family owned and I think they have been in business since the late 60's early 70's. If you take the time to talk to them, you will understand that they know their stuff. Great job! and Thank you for the excellent service.

I have taken two cars here and they are amazing and very professional. I recommend them to everyone. They diagnosed and fixed my car in a very timely manner. If you want honesty and great service, Blackmons Garage is the place to go. Best mechanics in SA.

Very honest & trust worthy! Owner & staff knows their cars. Not an inexpensive shop by far, but you pay for what you get! So rather than paying twice for the same repair, pay to have it done right the very 1st time! Take your car to Paul... I don't trust anyone else!

We just took our 96 Honda Accord to Blackmon's. Paul did the repairs for about 25% less than another shop we were recommended to. I would highly recommend these guys as they're honest , affordable, and they did the job quickly.

Came to this place hoping to find out why the mileage on my car had suddenly dropped. They told me my spark plugs were bad and quoted me a pretty high price ($250+) which I reluctantly paid. Fast forward 2 weeks and my car mileage still hasn't picked up. Now I feel like I paid for something I didn't need.

Found this guy from a drag racing friend of mine, that doesn't trust anyone else touching his car. Blackmon is a former drag racer himself. These guys have been working on our company and employee's personal vehicles for a few years now. They have never done us wrong. His second opinions have saved us thousands of dollars of front end work. Twice we were told by other mechanic's that we had bearing and front end problems. One, Blackman's found to be a bad tire, no charge and the other was an improperly torqued bearing, $90 vs. $1200 quoted by the other mechanic. The place is very clean, organized and everybody is very friendly. They have done engine work, air conditioning repairs, front end work, as well as tune ups and oil changes. The one time they mis-diagnosed a intermittent fuel injector problem, they fixed the actual problem for no extra charge, which was more than the original charge. If you care about the type of care your car gets, take it to Blackmon's Garage.
