This is the third time I use beldens for something major. And it's the third time I came out a very satisfied customer. The first time was taken care of promptly and swiftly within 2 days, and the issue was resolved. The second time, I had to get the car towed to shop, and it was a starter issue, and they took care of it and replaced it in a very timely manner and I was back in my car within the same week. Recently Jan 2024 they had to replace my engine ! That's right, the engine ! And let me tell you, it runs so good and not a single issue, and if I may say it runs awesome ! Raul, Lee, and Cameron were awesome and kept me informed all the way, and I had my car back from drop off day to replacement of engine in 2 weeks. I can't thank you guys enough FOR YOUR HARD WORK, and if I could do 100 stars, I would. I will definitely keep coming here for future mechanical needs, and I would definitely recommend and refer people and anyone who needs the services of true trained mechanics 100% again, thank you guy's.

Definitely recommend these guys if you re looking for a trustworthy mechanic shop. So far I ve had my 2013 ford transit and my 2013 ford f150 ecoboost serviced here, no issues on the work performed and got me back on the road in no time! Raul and Cameron are a pleasure doing business with and the service techs are knowledgeable and tentative to detail. I ve referred several family, friends and clients to Beldens and will continue to do so, keep up the great work fellas!

This is the best independent automotive shop in San Antonio. The service I received from Raul Reyna was the best. My SUV was fixed and handled with care. Raul was super attentive and his professional demeanor is above and beyond. In addition the lobby is meticulously clean and comfortable. Thank you!

There are only a few businesses where I think to myself what else do they offer for me to take advantage of.Cameron & Raul are some of the most trustworthy guys in an untrusting industry. I have done business with Beldens for over 7 years and every single interaction has been high class.This is the place to bring your car and leave behind any negative experiences you may have had prior. I have brought them all sorts of vehicles from a Caddy coupe to a Mazda Diesel SUV and they have handled all my issues.Awesome service and awesome care and I already dread the day I may have to move and start the impossible journey of finding another trustworthy mechanic.Thanks as always guys!

I'm really disappointed after my last visit here. I came in because my engine was hesitating. This started after someone forgot to put my gas cap back on and the check engine light came on. After replacing the gas cap, the engine hesitating didn't stop and the check engine light was still in. I explained this to them and after they performed a diagnostic, they told me I need $1500+ worth of repairs that included replacing my throttle body and a tune up to fix the problem. I asked them if this could have been the result of the gas cap being left off. They said no. At that point the dots didn't connect for me, so I paid the $167 diagnostic fee and picked my car up. The cause of my engine hesitating was the gas cap being left off. So I called my uncle that's a mechanic back in my hometown and broke everything down for him. He explained to me that it's likely the codes need to be cleared and the codes are what is making the car think there's an issue. After I had AutoZone give me a report, I sent him the codes and he said there's no way all those things are an issue and typically one issue is causing all those codes to trigger and probably after I replaced the cap the codes didn't clear. I had the codes clear and my engine is no longer hesitating. I reported this back to my uncle and he said I thought that was the issue...they tried to hustle you. Now I'm wondering if I really needed the compressor they replaced last year. Unfortunately now I consider them an untrustworthy business.

I'm glad to share my positive experience with Belden's Automotive & Tires in this review. I recently went in for an oil change, tire rotation, and state inspection and I was very pleased with the service.To start, scheduling an appointment was easy - I called and was able to come in the next day. When I arrived, I was greeted by friendly staff and my car was taken in promptly. Within an hour, all three services were completed, which was very impressive.While waiting, I relaxed in the cozy and comfortable waiting room, which was just what I needed. The waiting room may not be fancy, but it was mostly clean (the table was dusty) and welcoming.One thing I particularly appreciate about Belden's is their 12% military discount on non routine maintenance services. I wasn't able to apply the discount today but as a military member, I will be happy to take advantage of this in the future. In addition, I was surprised at how affordable the services were. I paid less than $85 for a full synthetic oil change and tire rotation, which included the state inspection fee of $7.Another thing I appreciated was that the staff didn't try to sell me on anything my car didn't need. Being a female who doesn't know much about car maintenance, I'm always concerned about being taken advantage of, but I felt very comfortable at Belden's.Overall, I highly recommend Belden's Automotive & Tires. They provided excellent service, and I'll definitely be back for future car maintenance needs. I believe they also offer a free shuttle service, which is a great option for those who need it. Rainy day after work I got a flat tire, I was close to them and gave them a shot, they told me my new tire could not be patched; I went to a place I trust and got it fixed. Please don t trust what they say and ask someone else before buying new tires.

I took my car in for a transmission issue and an oil change. They gave me a quote for all the repairs and I authorized service. I was expecting the repairs to take several days. I was stunned the next day to hear that my car was ready. But did they meet the quote they gave me - NO! The final price was over $100 lower than what they quoted me. They found a way to repair the vehicle at a lower cost - THANK YOU!I strongly recommend Belden's for your car care!Services: Transmission repair, Oil change

Belden's isn't always the fastest or the cheapest. However, my car has 203,000 miles on it and is still on the road in part thanks to them (in part thanks to it being a Toyota). In San Antonio, there's no one else I trust with my vehicle...and I love my vehicle!

RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN LOL*** UPDATEThis here ladies and gents is 5 invoices, I ve taken my vehicle to Belden s back to back. This is my proof their mechanics are not knowledgeable about anything. Every time I ve taken my vehicle to Belden s a day later my check engine light comes back. $5000+ spent with these people and my car still don t work. I m not saying these guys are scammers but I personally feel scammed.***These people call me and tell me to bring in my car because they feel bad about not fixing my car. But STILL going to charge me full price even though I gave them business for months. Wonderful experience! After being told I had a faulty battery at Firestone (I just went in to get my tires aligned). I went to belden's where I got the battery in the first place and they did a complimentary check for me and told me it was fine. Very kind service, very early in the morning, and really tasty coffee. Couldn't ask for a better service!

5 stars isn't enough. I walked out to head to class only to see a completely flat tire. There was a huge screw in it. My neighbor aired it up enough for me to get to a shop. I went to Belden's. They were able to patch it up right away. The best part was when I pulled out my debit card, they told me, "No charge ma'am." Wow! That never happens anymore. Great, friendly, super helpful staff. Fortunately, they are less than a mile away from where I live. But if you need your vehicle serviced, they are well worth any drive .

Cameron and his team were pretty awesome. They assisted me with ordering my tires, called me to confirm and ask if I had any questions. When I came in, they started working immediately and even directed me to an awesome restaurant. Everyone was really friendly, the place was clean with refreshments. I highly recommend this company if you have any automotive needs. And the prices were good.Service: Tires

Beldens on lockhill Selma really did a great job on my car. I had bought a car from Carvana and I had issues with the front suspension and they worked with the warranty company and fixed my vehicle. Runs brand new and feels amazing. They actually have fair prices especially for working on a foreign cars. I will be coming here from now on for any future major maintenance or repairs. Thank you all for everything.

I would give it a 5 stars but I'm not because they told me my car was going to be ready by Monday but it wasn't. My car was ready by Tuesday. Besides that they did a really good job. And it was a reasonable price to fix it. It didn't cost me an arm and a leg. The manager is really nice too and I love that they emailed me everything they were doing to my car.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I have been a customer for over a decade. Cameron and the guys are great! I can't count the number of times they've helped me out and saved me tons of money. Just today, they helped me put the fifth-wheel hitch back in my truck and wouldn't even charge me. These are people who value their customers and will bend over backwards to help any way they can. I called them once when I was on the road three states away with a check engine light, and they helped me navigate the problem long distance and kept me from being taken advantage of. My family has been using Belden's for years but my most recent experience has left us looking for an alternative. I took my old car to have the brakes fixed and they suggested my transmission fluid be replaced as well since it was due. I agreed and when I received my car back, I noticed that it could not change gears easily and notified Belden's about this new issue because there was no transmission issue before I took it in.I took the car back in and at first they thought it was a faulty filter from the manufacturer that they had replaced as part of their service. After they received another new filter and this did not fix the issue, they informed me that the original pressure of the transmission fluid was low enough before that everything worked fine as is and when they put new fluid in at the "correct" pressure it caused the transmission to fail. I asked for them to confirm the method of replacing the transmission fluid on my car and they said they had not flushed it but they drained it and let it drip out.The only solution they could provide me was to spend an additional $3k to put in a new transmission since they did not do rebuilds . They would not provide me with any references to any other mechanic to help with a transmission rebuild as an alternative.After locating another mechanic to look at the transmission issue, he was able to repair my transmission and was very skeptical about the explanation I had been told.I do not have any issues with the brake repairs. The issue is that a very expensive repair only presented itself after the car was worked on at this location.

Excellent experience! Chad was very good about explaining possibilities upfront and keeping me well informed along the way, both by calling and by text. Chad and Will seem to work well together. They were very prompt and accomodating to shuttle me to my office when I dropped my truck off. I recommend Belden's Alamo Garage highly and will continue to use them for my service in place of the dealership.

We have taken our car to Belden's since 2014 and we have never been disappointed. Staff is great, friendly and polite. I really appreciate how they go over what they did to your car, and mention work that may need to be done in the future such as getting your oil changed.

I went here for a second opinion and they were super friendly and efficient and kept me updated through the process of fixing my car. They were able to fix the problem for less than $150 when the other place was trying to charge me $2400 for the same problem. I've been taking my vehicles here for over 15 years. I trust Will and Cameron and staff and that is a high priority for me. The work is well done and communication is solid. Beldon also warranties their work and has kept their word to me, again a high priority.You don't have to worry about them cutting corners or trying to get over on you. Good to have a shop and mechanics you can trust.

They wished to charge me $2000.00 for a misfiring spark plug which another mechanic fixed for less than $200.00
