We had a Nissan Altima with 150k miles in need of a major tune up! We got it towed over, given a great estimate with a fantastic breakdown and customer service. Had it back up and running in 2 days having that car in like new condition! Highly recommend you give them a shot!

I'm not one to leave my vehicle at a shop to get fixed, but was having transmission issues in my 93 burban, so I gave auto z repairs a shot. Trucks running and shifting good now thanks to them. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust also one that is open on Saturday. My truck needed transmission work. They got it done in a reasonable amount of time at a reasonable price. Their communication was great and they kept me informed throughout the process. My truck is shifting smoothly again and I have peace of mind with their warranty. Will definitely be returning for any of my future needs - Mike S

Both my son and I have been to Auto Z Repairs many times for many needed repairs. They do a great, thorough job and I trust their judgment, expertise and prices. Matt & Co. are genuinely good people! :)

My 2004 Toy. Camry had a head gasket leak problem for 6 months. After consulting with so many mechanics, non knew how to repair the problem as a result I spent a lot of money. It wasn't until I came upon Auto Z Repair shop that I felt I needed to get their opinion. Their customer reviews is what caught my eye. Upon arrival I met with Matt and without hesitation he assured me they could fix the problem. No one had ever said that to me with such confidence. I left my car in their hands. A few weeks later Matt called me to pick it up. Now, 3 months later, my car does not leak and runs great. I highly recommend this auto shop. They are honest, fair, very professional and they are experts at what they do. Great repair shop team. I am so happy that if I could give them more stars, I would. Highly recommend them.

Finally found an honest mechanic!Matt was extremely helpful and personable. He did not upsell a bunch of unnecessary parts and services like many shops have done to me in the past. The price for my repair was quite a bit less than I was quoted at other repair shops. My car is notoriously difficult to work on. They did the job well and it was affordable. My Wife & I will definitely be back for repairs here when needed.

The owner Matt and his staff have always provided great service. They are honest and aren t looking to rip people off. I have been taking my vehicles to Matt for the past 8 years. Never have any issues with them. For as long as I've known Matt which is close to 10 years he has taken care of my truck and my wife's car. And was and is always honest and up front with all of my repairs. Excellent customer service, pays attention to detail. I could go on and on and on. I highly recommend him and I am never in need for a 2nd opinion (the price is always right) and he knows what he is talking about. He has completed all the work required to my satisfaction and I am very meticulous. My truck and my wife's car are running exceptionally well because of his excellent service. Took my truck in to get the Front/Rear Suspension(ball joints, arms, and differential) and also all around brake replacement. Dropped my truck of Tuesday at closing, and picked it back up the next day by 4pm. These guys work hard and fast to get you back on the road. My boy Matt has good prices and helps you out any way he can, Cody very generous and understands situations and goes above and beyond to get the job done. Thank you guys for taking care of me. Was looking for a place to take my Truck to for some problems that were going on. Saw the awesome reviews on here and gave them a shot. I m glad I did! As somebody who knows next to nothing about cars, I m always worried about getting swindled. The guys here were super professional, informative, and overall just genuine people. They got my truck back to riding SMOOTH, at a super reasonable price. They kept me informed along the way, explaining exactly what work needed to be performed, without suggesting unnecessary repairs. I m a single woman and I took my car to auto z repairs and made me feel really comfortable and explained everything to me and was very reasonable on there prices. When I picked it up you can feel the quality of work they put into it, when I drove off it felt like my car was back to life again, I didn t have to take it back cause it wasn t fixed the 1st time like my last mechanic. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends about Matt and his staff they are great people.

Great customer service. Matt was super honest and up front and told me what my vehicle issues were, the cost I was looking at and what other shops might tell me and what they will possibly charge me. Matt was very knowledgeable and cant say this enough,..... just very upfront. Made me feel comfortable trusting him with my vehicle. I will definitely return with our vehicles if we ever run into issues again.

I agree 10000% with the review below!! This shop is SO EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! Both James and Matt verbally attacked a young female and her mother that were PAYING CUSTOMERS came in asking a question and were humiliated, disrespected, and talked down to! I cannot believe the way these people treat their customers especially when their work cannot even speak for them. So much money paid to them and the problems are not fixed whatsoever!!! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS SOMEWHERE ELSE there are so many other options for an honest decent mechanic here in San Antonio they are not it. I ll never waste my time at a shop like this again and I advise you do the same! Don t make my same mistake! Only thing is now I m out all that money and still don t have the repairs done MY LOSS THEIR GAIN! What kind of business owner/manager and grown men at that speak to two females the way they did is beyond me! So I had an issue with the throw out bearing on my '08 Dodge Ram. When the guys at Auto Z opened it up, the bearing fell out in pieces and the clutch was worn clear down to the rivets! The techs fixed it up installing all the necessary parts and after everything, the total cost was less than other shops bottom quotes that I had gotten. The guys here know what they're doing, they do it because they love it and pay great attention to detail, and the owner is friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for auto repairs, and will be using them again.

I had problems with my a.c. in my truck for about 3 years. Other places were very expensive and wanted to charge outrageous prices before even getting to the problem. I found Auto Z Repair by using yelp. I explained my issue, got a quick reply from Matt with a reasonable price to locate the problem and he made an appointment for me asap. The guys were prompt, very courteous, explained everything they did, found my problem, gave me an estimate that was reasonable and got my a.c. working within 2-3 hours. Also were nice enough to point out a few other problems with my vehicle, prepare another affordable estimate and I left with a smile on my face. I recommend Auto Z Repair to anyone who wants good, honest work done on their vehicle. Very knowledgeable mechanics and overall good people.

Great shop overall, got my transmission replaced, did a great job var runs amazingly. Mechanics were informative and being somewhat of a car guy myself they showed me what happened and what needed to be replace. Will definitely return with later business, keep up the good work guys!

Disgusting "family owned" business. I would give 0 STARS. Just know that there is NO communication between owner and workers so it's a different story each time you talk to them and depending on who you talk to. These people are disgraceful, no morals, integrity or customer service skills! Part of the problem is that they can't remember half the things they say to a customer but sure know how to collect payment!Also, BEWARE If you ask ANY questions your going to be deemed a difficult customer and they won't want to deal with you, will write you off, and simply not give you the time of day.My advice is to take your vehicle somewhere else unless you're going to go along with their schemes and hand your money over blindly. Those are the customers they want!Take your hard earned money and business somewhere reliable, reputable, and established. Not this junkyard. Don't make the same mistake I did unfortunately OVER A THOUSAND DOLLARS DOWN THE DRAIN! LEFT THEIR SHOP MULTIPLE TIMES WITH THINGS STILL WRONG that they didn't tell me about! But they sent me on my way! GAVE THEM THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT WENT BACK MULTIPLE TIMES AND THE PROBLEM IS STILL HAPPENING! Gave them the opportunity to fix things with me and my car instead got more issues! Save your time and money TRUST ME!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Kia Spectra5 2005. Needed a timing belt change out after trying to graduate from YouTube University. Decided it was too involved for me. Dropped it off, went on vacation, came back on day 4, and it was already complete. Price was very reasonable. I wanted to wait about 1 month before posting this to make sure it was all good. New life to and old car and works like I just bought it. Thank you guys and I will be a return customer!! Got an old 2001 Dodge Ram that has a battery drain so we will see you tomorrow. 9/7/2021.

Auto Z Repair provides top notch customer service and is able to get the job done! Matt was able to breakdown the repairs I needed on my vehicle in a simple manner and was able to get me back on the road. Although I live on the other side of town, I drive to Auto Z because I trust them.

I found Auto Z repairs while looking for a mechanic. My car is 20 years old and suddenly stopped working. There was a lot wrong with it and needed to be addressed thoroughly and immediately. Since the car had been behaving in odd ways before shutting down I had seen 2 mechanics about this. 1 misdiagnosed it completely and the other found only 1 of the problems. I brought it into Auto Z and asked that they replace the spark plugs initially, but ended up asking them to find anything that could be wrong with it as it was rumbling and over heating. the managed to find several problems and parts that needed to be changed all of which made sense considering how it was acting. Then came the actual work. replacing belts, hoses, the timing belt, timing belt tensioner, thermostat, water pump, and believe it or not, even more. The car now runs like it was brand new. Once that was done they through on a 12 month /12,000 mile warranty on all parts and labor at a fantastic rate. I compared the rate to that which my friend from work pays at a different shop and he got half that much work done for considerably more money. I would STRONGLY suggest going to Auto Z repairs the next time your car is acting up. I will most definitely be suggesting them to everyone that asks from this point forward.

After going to several places to get my car scanned for codes, someone referred me to Auto Z! They re amazing found the problem on my car within 30 minutes and replaced the parts within a day and a half. This specific problem has been going with my car for a while and no one could seem to figure out what was going on, but Auto Z knew exactly what they were doing! I highly recommend!

Auto Z did a great job getting my 79' Ford back on the road. THey managed to find out what the problem was and didnt charge nearly as much as other shops I called. Thanks again Matt and Jr. We will be seeing you guys soon.

Matt is awesome, I found a shop that quoted me a little cheaper went to talk to Matt about it and his customer service is so on point.
