I was recommended from another shop Berts Motor Works. I needed my front cv axles repaired and rebooted on my 2013 Toyota Tacoma with 155K miles. I thought the OEM reboot kit was all I needed. They recommended the hard rubber boots are crap. I AGREE! they were so stiff and not pliable like the rubber boots they offered. I turned both axles first thing in the morning and got a call by noon. I know it is first come first serve. I got them back and they were cleaned up and ready to go. If I would of done this myself I would of still been working on the first one! Please don't think you can do it yourself, the clamps needs to be on tight and right. Take it to Auto Air & Axles they will get it done right! I'm glad I went to their business. I heard they also work on A/C's. I know where I'm going if I have a problem with the Taco.

Called around for parts for multiple front end or AC repair jobs/projects I work on. This place is by far the best not only on pricing, but great selection of quality parts and great customer service. Great Experience! They work by first come first serve but they are mighty quick. I had no A/C in my Honda Accent and they were able to fix it for $135 in 3 hours. And it only took so long because they had 20 cars ahead of me! They work on most cars and they answer EVERY phone call. The mechanic is straight forward and only $40 to diagnose but if you fix your vehicle with them, that fee is waived. This is my new mechanic!!!!! LOVED!

The guy making air conditioning hoses is an idiot sent my a picture and confirmed that s what I needed and then get there s no such part looks like he has the part to me and it s made by someone.

Great place to get parts for AC. However the lady I spoke to over the phone was rude towards the end. Had to call to place an order for the heater core and will be in on Monday to pick up.

Honest and fair business, the customer service provided over the phone was top notch. I needed a cv axle for my truck and they gave me what I needed, also provided with the right shop for the job.Thanks for referring me to Steve at Bowers Brooke and Keith. I got my cv axle repaired for a fraction of the cost at the dealer. Keep up the great work!

I needed my CV axle serviced with a boot replacement for my Volvo. Instead of spending a day monkeying around with it myself, I let them handle it for me. They had my axle fully repaired, cleaned up, and ready for reinstallation in the span of less than 30 minutes. They got me in and out. Very reasonably priced too. HIGHLY recommended.

Got my eyes poked on a simple small hose. Thought I could support them since I like to find and make new business relationships for my trucking fleet but they didn t make the cut. I paid but I m moving on

Keith is amazing, Rick is the guy that rebuilds the hoses better than new, Jason is a wonderful delivery driver.Recommend this place hands down!Been coming here for over a decade.We use this place for hose repairs and parts at the auto shop I work at. We trust them, business to business.

I had driven by this business numerous times. Recently I used their services and was pleasantly surprised! Keith, Brooke, and Rick (the repairman) were outstanding! They serviced a pair of cv axles. Their advise and service were on target. Their prices are extremely reasonable! Do not hesitate to take your business to them.

Extremely professional, with a strong willingness to help. Provided me quote over phone and remained steadfast on his word. A/C problem on my truck and was traveling and George took care of my truck. Auto Air And Axle in San Antonio is professional, helpful, and have excellent service. My repairs have never taken more than a couple of days.I brought in my vehicle a second time to them with brake problems and air conditioning cooling issues that had been worked on last year, but were no longer under their 1 year warranty.Fortunately for me, they went the extra mile, and covered it under warranty even though it was two months past. They found the issues and repaired them for a nominal fee.They made me feel like I was a valued customer, and went that extra bit out of their way to keep me happy. I will definitely be coming back in the future, I feel like this is one shop that deserves my continued business.Special thanks to Maria for helping us out, keeping us up to date, and staying late to wait for me to pick up my car!

They were great! They have parts in stock other stores like AutoZone and O'Reilly don't have in stock.I needed a part that very same day, AutoZone in O'Reilly needed to order the part in and it would arrive 1-3 days. This place had it in stock, bought it, had my car fixed that very same day!

Very helpful. They offered to check my refrigerant levels in my A/C for free to troubleshoot and build me an estimate. Gave me some worst case scenario numbers, came back and had them look at it a few days later. They only needed to do half the job and cut my bill down by 30%. I'm impressed.

I called Gary who manages the Auto AC shop, and he gave me a quote that I loved. It saved me $600 on a quote from a major north side Auto AC repair shop.Gary's quote was right on target, and he got our car finished in 6 hours, SAME DAY.He gave us a 1 year warranty on the repair, and we are satisfied.Thank you Auto Air & Axle

Took my car there to get fix, the fans were not working causing the car to overheat. They were able to diagnose the problem within the hour I was there. Turns out it was an electrical problem. Unfortunately, they do not do any electrical work, but were able to recommend me someone. I'm giving them a five star rating because they did not charge me for the diagnose, any other place would have charged. Thank you Gary!

It was a great experience.Anytime you can find what you're looking for and get out in 30 minutes under 100 bucks with tax included. That makes the 4 other places that didn't have it look sad.

As for me no customer service or courtesy.The two f... tards that were there Nov 10 at 1130 are incredibly disrespectful.I ordered yesterday, told that it would be there today. I called today to make sure they have the part, just to make sure they do before I make the trek to their facility. 'Mike' said they do. I get there, it's not with the UPS orders they received. Ok, well do me a solid and find out what's happening or when it would be there. They proceeded to take calls and orders and answer questions of others. I just stand there for 30 minutes, thirty minutes.I see that they got good reviews from others but damn man all they needed to do was say hey we can call you when we get it figured out. I stood right in front of them the whole time, while they help everyone else. It's rude, at least to me. I'll take my money to the box store, AutoZone O'Reilly etc.

Blew a power steering hose right in the process of prepping my car for paint and called these guys after someone recommended them and they came in clutch end of day Friday to get my hose repaired big thanks! Never was able to recieve the service, but went in for an A/C diagnosis, fast service , told me what was wrong within 30 minutes and gave options for repair... had ordered a part to be delivered tuesday , & put a deposit down for the part and work. Came in that following friday and turns out the part was too large and would not work. Was offered to have them run to their supplier for the correct part free of charge . Declined the offer and was refunded my deposit no problems or questions asked...again didnt recieve service but these guys are honest and I'd visit again for future problems.

Great customer service. I got two quotes for auto repair and this place came in $300 less than the other shop and did the job in less than a day. I was very happy with the service and the warranty they provide.

Seems like a honest place to get work done on your car. We went there for a a/c problem. When the car is first turned on and the a/c or defroster is turned on there is a loud screeching. We had the car checked out there, they said it could be the a/c fluids were not correct. Cost about 92$ to fix, so okay we went next store to wait about 15 mins later we get a call from the repair shop letting us know that they had a better look and that it's most likely the a/c belt and best to change that out and most likely fix the problem. Cost 65$ we said OK sure if that's best. What do you know, it fixed it and cost less to do so. Will come back again.

This place is on the the other side of town for me, but I decided to go with them because of the good reviews. I needed my suspension changed on my car and I liked that they would do the work using my own parts. Of all the places I called, they quoted me the best price (on two different occasions, but i wasnt able to go the first time). I finally had a ride to leave my vehicle. A few hours into the job, I get a phone call saying that I needed a rear mounting brackets for my shocks. Ok, I wasnt told about this either time I called, but I suppose that is something one would find out after examining the car. The additional $60 didnt upset me as much as being told that it would also be an extra hour of labor. Talk about a bait & switch. After expressing my displeasure, I was put in a situation where I couldnt exactly tell them to cancel the job since it was already 1/2 done. They tried to make things square by offering my 10% off the labor, which was kind of dumb because it was basically the coupon that is available on this webpage (which I intended to use anyways). He dropped the price an additional $10, but considering I paid $150 more than I initially expected, it was not good enough in my opinion. Im not sure what this business is guilty of: offering a low quote to entice customers only to pull a bait & switch or lacking the competence to make accurate quotes based of the paramters of the job. I was considering getting some a/c work done, but not after this experience I dont plan on finding out. I will be looking elsewhere.

A big "Thank You" to the guys at Auto Air & Axle! I let my brakes and bearings get in really bad shape before I took in my F150 to get checked out. After the repairs it was all the difference in the world. All the grinding is gone. Good prices and great service!

Drove over 30 miles to come see them as soon as I walk in a fat guy on his phone just tells me to leave my brake hoses (that I wanted customized), on the table cause he can't help me, and the person that can is gone. I try to ask if he has have a certain fitting I need for my project and he just shrugs his shoulders and tells me to come back another time, no sorry or nothing just him staring at his phone unwilling to help. expected more from this place
