Not only did the guys fix the oil leaks that I was having, they noticed other things along the way, and notified me about these issues, and I had them all fixed as well. Great service, competent mechanics, and a great shop. Def an auto shop you want to build a relationship with. Total cost of repair was definitely lower than I was expecting based on my research. I found my mechanic, and it's Alamo City Garage. Highly recommend!

I have used this auto repair shop for years. I dont trust my vehicle with anyone else. Honest friendly reliable fast services. Every few months i get a text asking if i need any repairs done. Great customer service. Reasonably priced. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.

Lino, Rudy and the rest of the team are extremely professional, courteous and easy to do business with. My interaction with Lino over the phone was pleasant, he didn t rush me and accommodated my family and I on the same day for service in our TRD Pro Sequoia. They were also very friendly in person.I will be stationed in San Antonio for sometime and I m glad I found a new goto mechanic. They are located close to Fort Sam, they even shuttled me home, while they worked on my vehicle. I felt they gave me a good deal on price (with 2 year warranty) and also give military discounts - which is always appreciated. I will def return for future service. Thank you !

These people are great, professional and the facilities are spotless. We are winter Texans, and had a trip planned to go out west. We noticed our car started making a strange noise 3 days before we had to leave. We called several other repair facilities but none had appointments available. I called Alamo City Garage and they told me to come over and they would take a look. They were very professional and did a complete check of our car. Which put our minds at ease for our upcoming trip. I highly recommend giving them a call for all your automotive repair needs.

We took in our 2007 Nissan Xterra that has been meticulously been taken care of through the dealership we purchased from. In 2019 the service quality there began to diminish. We had to take the vehicle back multiple times for the same thing that resulted in us paying more than necessary for an issue I had to ultimately diagnose myself. They cost us thousands on replacing parts that were not necessary, had they fixed the correct issue the first time. March of 2022 the dealership wanted to charge us over $5000 for work that they stated needed to be done, which included the rear brakes that we had just replaced a year or so prior.This is when we found Alamo City Garage. I spoke with the owner and had an appointment quickly. I took him the quote from dealership and let him go through the vehicle. They found that a few of the issues to include those rear brakes, were not an issue at all.They had our vehicle up and running as new as possible, quickly and at about $3000 less than quoted by dealership. I held onto this rating to see if any issues would come up with what was fixed, but nothing. Everything has been running great since. I m happy to recommend Alamo City Garage to anyone.

I had a family friend that used to be my mechanic. He was always someone I trusted and relied on. When he past away, I knew the day would come when I would need a new mechanic, but had no idea who.Initially, my wife and I took our car to the dealership because it had been overheating. We thought that they would be the most reliable since it's their own car. Turns out we wrong about Ancira. Over a month later, we finally get told what needed to be fixed. The price was outrageous, so we went on Google to get a second opinion.We found Alamo City Garage and felt encouraged to give them a shot since the reviews were great. Within a day, they looked everything over and turned out what Ancira told us needed to be fixed was not correct. On top of that, Alamo City Garage told us that we needed to fix our axel. After they told us that, we no longer had any trust in Ancira. We had Alamo City Garage do the repairs and within a week, they found the parts that were needed and fixed everything. It turned out to be afforable and the car has been running great for the past week.Alamo City Garage is now our go-to shop for any future repairs our cars need.I HIGHLY recommend this shop. Everyone is so friendly and they explain everything to you so that it makes sense to someone who isn't a mechanic. Thank you Lino and your team for a great experience. There isn't enough words to express how much I'm grateful for this place. The price blew me away with affordability. Lino has stellar customer service and the facility (for a shop) is really clean. I'm kicking myself for not coming sooner...I know better now. Alamo City Garage for life. Don't waste time or money...if you want to be back on the road efficiently and quickly, you need to bring your ride here. I'm not sponsored. I'm just a really grateful mommy that can safely drive her kids around.

You are welcomed as soon as you walk in and really enjoyed the clean facility. They were very calm and listened as I explained the issues I was having with my car. They said no problem, we'll get it checked out and then they even were willing to give me a ride home while my car was getting diagnosed. They called me within an hour to hour and a half and were completely honest with the issue which was way off from what I thought it was, the solution was the two 2 front tires replaced, they gave me a reasonable price, I asked if we could just replace all 4, said no problem and got my car back an hour earlier than expected..all in the same day. Appreciated them picking me back up. They went above and beyond, I have my found my shop since I'm new here in San Antonio. Thank you!

ABSOLUTELY EXCELLENT prices, customer service and quality of service. Came in after being quoted at other places over $1600 for what just cost me $500. I spent a few hours here but the labor would have been 3 hours anywhere. I received some car buying advice and a discount due to my veteran status!! Very VERY thankful to Alamo City Garage! I am now a customer and will refer to everyone. God bless!!!

I have taken two cars to Alamo City Garage and I plan on taking them my daughter s car next to get the a/c repaired. Lino and his team are all about finding the problem and fixing that problem. They take the time to explain what the problem is and help you understand the work that needs to be done. It s very apparent in my experience with them that they are committed to trust and craftsmanship.

I am new to the area and had no clue where to take my car for repairs. Having had bad luck in the past I was worried about being ripped off. I searched Google and found Alamo City Garage to have great reviews. I took my car there and was beyond impressed. I went in there with a vague description of one of the issues I was having. They could have told me it was a number of things and I wouldn't have known any different. Instead he told me exactly what the noise really was and that it was nothing to be concerned about. He could have charged me for all kinds of things but he didn't, he was honest! I do need a few other repairs and I will most definitly be taking it back Alamo City for them! They are really nice and honest! So thankful I found them!

I have been very impressed with all of the services we've received from Alamo City Garage. We have several vehicles that we bring in for maintenance and repairs (if needed). They keep us updated with the status of parts being ordered and cost. They are honest, fast and courteous.

I sent my sister here to have her car inspected for loose tie rod ends. They checked the entire suspension, test drove it and spent an hour. Did not charge for inspection. I would call this place, very generous and professional place for car repair. I recommend this place to anyone who needs work done on their cars. Thanks Alamo City Garage.

Lino and crew including Gordo are about the best. I first went after being robbed by 5-minute Oil Change. Friendly and personable staff. I have been back several times for oil changes and most recently for tires. Lino helped find the right priced tires and when I called at the last minute needing an immediate (my son ran over a screw) tire change. I called another establishment and they couldn't do it (they are closer). But I called Alamo and they had the tires on stock and the time. I paid less too. Clean and comfortable waiting area also.

Thank you Lino! And the guy who worked on my car who drives a motor cycle. I am new to the area and these guys were very knowledgeable and helpful in helping me with my car. They create a very friendly environment which will make you want to go back. I recommend Lino if you have any concerns with your vehicle acting up. Took my Jeep Cherokee to them to get my blower working and turned out to be just a couple of plugs that weren't connecting. Charged me only $30 to get it going. They could have taken me for a expensive ride but showed me exactly what the problem was. It's very rare to find an honest auto shop but I'm telling you, these guys are great. They have certainly earned my business to come back to them.

Friendly staff that's always makes sure that your car needs are met. Since my family and I have continously use their services our vehicles run better than before. I have recommended Alamo City Garage to my friends and family members. It is very hard in this day and and age to find legitimate mechanics.

I've had a good experience at this establishment. The owner is easy to talk to honest and knows his trade very well.I have taken all my vehicles to them for repair and or oil changes.Their work done is done right and in a timely manner. Love these guys. So I took my 2007 Jeep Commander to a garage a couple months before I brought it to the Alamo City Garage. They told me I was needing a new throttle body and a catylitic converter. They wanted to charge me a little over $1000. I knew that was wrong so I never got the work done. Then I took it here to the Alamo City Garage and they did such a thorough diagnostic and made sure they found the real issue. They even gave me a rewards card that gives me discounts and a two year warrenty on parts and labor if anything goes wrong. This is definitely my new Garage! Love them.

Service was incredible we brought in our new alternator to be replaced they verified that was indeed the problem, switched it out in less than 30 min and had is back on road in 45 min. No hidden fees, great staff.. Couldn't be happier! Thank you Alamo City Garage.

Great place to get any type of work done! These guys take great care of my Honda Ridgeline and Honda Pilot. Oil changes are at a good price and done quick. These guys go out of their way to make sure your vehicle is up to par and safe for you to drive. Definitely recommend this.
