DJ and the team did an outstanding job repairing the side of my car that had been damaged. He also advocated for me when the insurance adjuster did not capture all of the damage. He pushed hard to get the work done properly. I ll be back and so will my friends.

The owner is direct and to the point-Not a salesman catering to your weakness of "nice means good work". Some find this safe space rude while I found it comforting knowing we do not have to haggle on something I have no idea of what I am talking about in the first place (If I did...why didn't I fix it myself in the parking lot of Starbucks with their friendly service?)At the end of the day, this company did a great job on my Cadillac. As with anything you are going to have to pay for it if you do not have insurance-which is your fault. If you have insurance, the owner works with YOU not the insurance company to make sure you get the vehicle properly fixed. Remember..Insurance companies DO NOT fix your car, they try and save as much money offering the bare minimum to get your car fixed. All in all...I am happy. Offering before and after pics to prove my comments.

Quoted me half of what another shop quoted me to repair my bumper. Great customer service, very easy to drive up and get an estimate. Highly recommend. I now have a body repair shop to recommend to my family and friends in San Antonio.

DJ and his crew did an outstanding job on my 98 GMC truck. They painted the whole truck, they took the bed off the hood and front fenders all that was left was cab and frame. Today I came for an estimate and this guy really tried to charge me $4500 for a standard repainting of my vehicle... A 2013 Chevrolet Sonic .. The joke is on him because he lost my business and I won't be referring anyone to him. I found a shop that would do exactly what I wanted this shop to do for 800. Less than 1,000 dollars from 4500.. The only thing I can say good is the man I spoke to was honest about his overpriced paint job he wanted to do

I took my car to Abel s to get some body work done on the front bumper and passenger side fender of my car. While other shops said it would be over a month jus to get an estimate, DJ got me an estimate the same day and had my car back to me in four days, looking as good as new. He was incredibly honest and straightforward throughout the whole process, and even managed to come in $100 under the estimate! I can t recommend DJ and the team at Abel s enough, a rare gem of a place and a real pleasure to work with!Service: Body & Trim

Dimas, his son and the employees are great guys. They helped me repair my Jeep and Volkswagen. They can talk directly to the insurance company for you. Great work, great people.....they are a reminder of how people, who are from San Antonio, conduct business verses the out of town businesses who have no clue about San Antonio and it's diverse community are about. San Antonio nice still does exist at this business...I highly recommend Abel's Paint and Body. Family owned and they'll treat you like family too.

Great work, done quickly, fair price, five stars. The owner is a very no nonsense kid of a guy. If you want chitchat and free coffee, this is not the place. My car had extensive body work done and it took less than a week. Don't believe the bad reviews without considering for yourself.

Really helpful. Lost our bumper after an accident on the highway. Passing through so didn't know where to go. They were the only ones in the area wanting to help us. They attached our license plate and did not want to take compensation for it. May God bless you all abundantly.

Have taken my vehicle there on numerous occasions. Always prompt professional service. Always provides detailed statement of work done. Would never consider taking my vehicle to any other painting body shop.

_ I went to this garage, the Owner is very ( short RUDE person ) he is always there & always Rude, but Alex was a good friendly Man, in general it's not the kind of garage that you can make a deal - agree on a date to finish the job - get a price quotation - leave the car with them - and come pick it up the day was agreed on!!!! NO NOT at all! they'll keep on pushing the due date by giving excuses !!! and that's not a big deal towards pricing their (Custom labor price) are not compatible with their facilities !! the ask for lots of money without giving you the service you paid for!! it's a dirty garage it just not a professional garage to do custom work with!!_They sprayed or painted my front bumper, although they got the color right but the job was (not clean) like there was extra paint tears in the edges, it's just like this ((( - I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN - )))

I went to Abel's Body and Paint Shop looking for a paint job on my motorcycle. I asked them for a quote and showed them the 5 pieces I wanted to paint. They were already removed for the motorcycle, just needed to be prepped and painted. (Front and rear fender, gas tank and two small plastic pieces on the sides.) I wasn't looking for anything special, just a flat black paint job. They quoted me $1200. I verified all of the information and made sure they knew they were just painting the parts stated above. They confirmed $1200. These parts MIGHT cover the square footage of two car doors. So, if you want to be over charged for simple paint jobs then sure, go here, but I know that painting these small pieces of metal/plastic would not cost that much. Also the guy that gave me the quote was rude once I showed a surprise gesture on my face. I understand that this place does quality custom paint jobs and body work but the amount of money they want for the small amount work needed for what I was asking was astronomical. FYI. I know a lot about auto painting. I used to do body work and minor paint jobs for a collision repair shop. $1200 would buy me an air compressor, the gun and the paint so I could do it myself.
