I needed an oil change and some long overdue work done on my truck. They were able to inspect it the next day and finished a couple days earlier than they originally thought which was great. Is it the cheapest place? I don't know, I didn't get other estimates, but Alice seemed fair and honest so I'll give 5 stars. Thank you!

A&A Garage is Awesome Alice and her team were great! Took my car in for a brake repair, their service was 1st class. Their prices were fair and they are honest about the work I highly recommend them for your next car repair.

Great, no surprise pricing. Competent, professional, quick. I trust this family business with my vehicles because they respect the struggle and my time and my wallet. Every year for my inspection, when my engine check light goes off, they really listen and are always exceeding other experiences.

First I want to start by saying that they charge $100 just look at your car and people should be aware of that because they don t mention anything about it until you leave the vehicle, most shops won t charge you for an estimate or they ll charge you $30 to $50 at the most unless is something super complicated. With that being said, I took my car because it was missing the horn and the 3rd light assembly needed to be replaced. They quoted me $711.96 and right of the bat I knew they were overpricing me. I checked the prices for the parts at o'reilly's, autozone, amazon and google and the prices for the 3rd break light was no more than $120 and for the horns no more than $58.99. I called different shops to ask for estimates and they quoted me $300 to $450 total with parts and labor, so I decided to go pick my car. When I arrived, the lady told me it was $100 just to check the car and when I confronted her about the high price on the quote she got nervous and stated they don t buy parts from autozone or any other auto part store, only directly from dealerships. I been to different shops and never in my life heard that before. To me it s sounds like the were only making up excuses to overprice me. I wouldn t recommend anyone to take their vehicle there.

I had dialed with this lady 3 times. At first was for an engine problem, at that time I would've give them 5 stars. the second time was for a valve job on a different car, I got ripped off, too high of a price. On the 3rd time took my car there (the same one as the first time) for the SAME problem as before (years earlier), she kept it for a month and didn't do anything, then she came with the attitude that "if you don't like they way they do thing, you are free to take your car". She commented that the fuel filter was mounted backward, which is impossible since is threads on one end and quick connects on the other end. Went to pick up the car and it was worst than when I took it in. I drove the car there. next day I called and ask her mechanic if he had any problem with it and he said no, I have voice/telephone recording of her mechanic telling me that he had no problem starting it and putting it in the garage, NOW IT WON'T EVEN START !!!.Service: Engine repair

After having a pretty bad experience with a different mechanic I had my vehicle towed here where they were so nice about everything. They got my car running and didn't break the bank which was wonderful.

This is the place you want to go if you DO NOT have any mechanical knowledge. I had gone to Midas which stated I needed a MFC sensor and to have my injectors cleaned and the quote was about $600.00+. Took my vehicle to this place due to being referred by my extended car warranty company (lol, purchased at the same time as vehicle not over the phone). Dropped off my vehicle and paid a small fee for the diagnostic test and before the end of my shift I had a quote. They quoted half of what the previous company charged. Alice, who is definitely all business, called me to scheduled a date to drop off the vehicle since she knew this was my only transportation. The date came around and all was repaired and I didn't have to leave my car over night. They even waited a few minutes due to my tardiness.If you have a daughter or son going to college or living here in San Antonio I would definitely recommend using this place due to honesty and promptness. Alice is very direct and to the point so everything is transparent when doing business.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Alice and her son Don have been taking care of my cars for 15 years now and they always offer excellent service at a fair price and if it's not fixed right the first time they make sure it does get fixed the next time which is very very rare.!I give them 10 stars

Honest and fair. Small family owned business. My best friend and I only go here after we found it. Alice is great and her son Don is a very thorough mechanic. I have never had an issue and they are always fair.

dropped my vehicle off on a Friday to have a fuel pump replaced and it was ready by Monday. Affordable, honest and reliable place as always. They don't try to cut corners or charge you for additional things if it doesn't need to be done.

These folks have kept my family's cars running for 16 years now. They are honest and willing to explain the details of your repair. Alice, the owner, is amazing at locating difficult to find parts, too.

Took my car to the dealer - told me I needed to pay nearly $4300 for repairs! Brought to A&A Garage, found out it'd be only $750! Great, honest people working here!! Don't waste time taking your vehicles to other places!

Alice and Don provide a service that is hard to find now. Our family would usually go to the dealership but now will call Alice first. They are honest, reasonable and reliable. I never worry that I am going to be taken advantage of.

Now, today was a great day, everything seemed to go right for me, an A&A Garage was no different, great people, very nice very fast, an down to earth folks, I'm so glad I went there an got my car inspected, from now on I will go to these folks every time my car needs inspected.
