What can I say???!? 2 Aces has done it again! Another great experience ! I have had my vehicle serviced several times and each time I have been very pleased with the work and appreciative of the prices charged for service!They are an honest and fair repair shop ! Never have I had to worry about unnecessary repairs or surprise costs with these guys! With 3 children all driving and having their own vehicles I truly recommend this shop! I otherwise would not be able to afford to keep all the vehicles running!Thank you again for your commitment to great customer service and excellent work to keep us safely on the road!

This shop will be my go to forever. They put me at ease, are fast and easily accessible. I have had no trouble getting my car in to them. If you're looking for a place that's trustworthy, fast and affordable this is IT!!

The 2 Aces facility and crew are legit. Known them since the beginning. I have had all my vehicles serviced there for years. From the simplest of oil changes to some minor / major repair services. From install custom exhaust to radiator replacements to tire repairs to diagnoses help to towing suggestions and on and on. Some of the vehicle rap sheet... 1999 Civic EX 2dr... help make last 298,XXX miles (crash 2015), 2006 Tacoma TRD... help make last 290,XXX miles (sold 2021), 2012 Camry SE V6... still going at 190,XXX miles, My Son 2005 G35 V6 6M... simple to minor/major, etc. 184,XXX (crash 2021). and my other vehicles on and on... Good peoples and great help. Even though I split my vehicles services with another facility, still worth it to have 2 Aces underneath your sleeve.

I called to see if they would take a walk-in for the state inspection and I was told I could stop at anytime. As soon as I arrived I was greeted and I was asked to provide the documents to proceed with the inspection. I gave the car keys and I was invited to sit down on their waiting area; within 12 minutes my inspection was done. I felt very comfortable while waiting and during all interactions. I'll be back for any of my car's needs!

They have been around for a long time. There one of the shops that shoots you straight and never gives you the run around. There work is second to none and would recommend them highly. Took my truck in for an ac service and it's never blown colder until now. You know what they say about hole in the wall places..Thats where the money's at.

Went in for state inspection. I also asked if they could fix the shield/guard under the car. I was quoted $400 for a new 1 at Honda. They looked at it and actually repaired it and charged me less than $50! Very polite and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

The 2Aces crew was very professional and efficient. My vehicle was ready several days earlier than the estimation. By far the best experience I've ever had when it come to auto repairs. Ashley at the front desk was super helpful and nice. Always greeted me with a smile. The owner Robert personally called me to follow up on how my Truck was running and I really could tell he cared. My truck was swaying to the right and he had me bring right back and fixed it in the same day. I can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend. Finally found a truly honest mechanic shop! Customer service was excellent, my car's been running like a charm ever since I picked it up 3 weeks ago and THEY SAVED ME THOUSANDS OF $ ! over what the previous shop had claimed was the problem. 2 Aces customer service is amazing. I ve been to this place twice so far and both times have been amazing. First time my AC compressor was fixed. The second time wheel alignment and brakes were fixed. They also send out follow up texts which is great. I am glad I found this place!

Robert and his staff did a great job installing my headlights. Ashley is always polite and professional. They took good car of my car and I would recommend them. They are a small, family business and work hard. I will occasionally get a text from them just to see if everything's still good and if I need anything. You don't get that from other types of businesses.

We dropped off our car after being seeing my 3 mechanics and the same day we got a call that our car was not worth fixing. We greatly appreciate there honesty ! I would highly recommend this place for any car service. The customer service is great and appreciate how quick they were able to update us on our car . Thank you !

Listen to the reviews below me. I took a shot with them. Theyr gonna be my go to place for anything I can't handle. They were quick and efficient and the price was more than fair. If your looking for a fair price go to these guys. This is coming from someone who doesn't have much cash not a well off person ignorantly saying "this is fair" I'm glad I listened to the reviews. Just knowing this place exists is a game changer. The people here are nice and upfront on pricing and don't start working on anything until the details are discussed.

My original review has been removed for some reason, perhaps not using my name. However, calling to yell at my 63 year old mother due to receiving a bad review crosses a line. This is in line with the change in the way customers have been treated.Had work done there in the past with little trouble (2019-2021). However, with the location change and the new office manager, the quality of customer service has taken a severe hit. Severe enough to prevent me from calling their location ever again despite going there for years. Can't give one star due to good work, but you're likely to get better pricing and nicer people just about anywhere else.-Edit/Update :: Texted with Robert Wilkins and learned that due to my car having sat for approx. 18 months was enough to prevent any work from being done without a diagnostic fee. Was informed that office manager has been there over a year, yet this does not make her any less terse. Was essentially told in the end to take it to another shop and to reach back out if I had problems after that.-Final Edit :: A Jiffy Lube up the road a ways managed to address all of my basic issues. Still unsure why 2 Aces Auto did not want my money.Tl;DR :: AutoZone and Jiffy Lube are cheaper and friendlier. All work I was hoping to have done was successfully completed in less than 3 hours.

This is my go to repair shop for my truck. They take care of everything. They recently replaced the exhaust manifolds and completed the job in one day. They are very conscious of the fact that people need their vehicles, and they work hard to complete the job as quickly as possible. For maintenance issues, such as an oil change or brakes, they arrange to take my vehicle as quickly as possible. I mistakenly brought my truck in too early for an oil change, but instead of doing it, and making the money, they told me to come back in a few weeks when it was needed. My mother had a small, but critical repair needed on her car. They made time for her immediately and got her back on the road safely. The cost of repairs and maintenance is very competitive and fair. I know they are not overcharging for their services. Robert and Vince are as honest as they come. I needed a brake light bulb replaced.The very snippy office Manager charged me $5 for the bulb AND a $55 labor hour. Who charges a full clock hour to replace a bulb?!!!Up until now, I used 2 ACES for my car maintenance.NEVER again. I've posted this same review on Yelp. I brought My pick up here when my shifter wasn't engaging to any gear. I feared the worst that my transmission had gone out but turns out it was the shifting cable. These guys had my truck back to me in a couple hours and the price was way better then i could have asked for. My only regret here was that I didn't tip the mechanic who fixed my truck. I'm going to be a life long customer now. ThankS a bunch guys for honest and great work,that's is nearly impossible to find now a days.

Very quick and reasonable in cost. I took my car to get the ac looked at and they recharged it with freon...within an hour they were done. This place has become my family's mechanic! Their customer service is excellent! Very professional business and employees. I had heard from a friend about the service they provided , so I went to take my car and was very satisfied. They won t throw all these unnecessary parts on your vehicle if not needed either . Definitely going back if I need anymore auto service in the future . Service: Steering & suspension repair

We had some rattling that sounded like it was coming from the wheel area. It was constant and concerning. 2 Aces diagnosed the problem as a suspension bar and fixed it the same day. Not only was the job done well and the rattling stopped but the price was very fair. Spoiler Alert: Great Service....kept me in the loop...very professional...fast turm around time on repair....looking for AC work or diagnosis....Just stop...wasting time...call Two Aces...I'm very picky and not very trusting when it comes to mechanics...hands down great experience with Two Aces. You have to recognize good service.My experience:Issue with my AC system...the compressor seized up....not good to be without the AC.Called a few places ...either they didn't have anything for a week...or I could drop off my truck and they would get to it next week...yeah...that's the same thing.When I asked for ball park figure....on the repair...I get it...you can't give exact cost..hence the ball park estimate statement...I would not get a price...or the price seems like I'd rather just use that amount on a dowm payment on a new truck...Call Two Aces...Told the issue...they said stop by we can checkout today or tomorrow morming...that works...They called back late in the day...issue found and gave estimate...super affordable...Truck was ready the next day...I waited a few weeks just to ensure all statyed good with the repair ...which comes with a warranty.All is still good...AC blowing like new...too cold... ha haThanks Two Aces.No BS...here...do yourself and bank account a favor and give Two Aces a look.Note: No photos to add...the compressor is new and shiny though.Service: A/C system repair

I love this place! Robert and Vince with their team are the best mechanics you can get in South Texas. Probably the whole state as I have met some shifty mechanics up east too! I have been going here since 2016 and every time, they have been completely honest and charge fair prices. I convinced family members to try them too instead of shady Pep Boys or pump/dump chain mechanics and they all love going here too!Today, I was needing my car checked before a trip to Dallas and they agreed to squeeze me in (it was my fault, I meant to arrive earlier). They not only did, but they didn't shaft me when they could see I was concerned about a road trip. I'm sort of "easy" prey to mechanics and neither Robert or Vince (and team) have ever made me question their determinations, unlike the shady mechanics who pretend your car is about to fall apart in two seconds unless you do thousand dollar repairs right away. I've taken two cars here and while I'm sure they miss the old "money pit" PT Cruiser I had, they definitely work on my Toyota with the same professionalism.The one time they made a mistake (and it wasn't even their mistake, Chrysler just makes bad cars), they fixed it right away at no cost. That's how I knew they were my only mechanic I was willing to drive for!Long story short: TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! Ignore the fancy "deals" that chains pretend to give you and go to REPUTABLE Two Aces Auto Repair! You will save money and a lot of peace of mind! We were referred to Robert & 2 Aces when we bought a used car with some issues. Robert got us in quickly and diagnosed the issues. Sent us an itemized list of needed repairs and took care of them. He even observed some issues that we were planning on repairing ourselves and took care of them at no extra costs. Due to needing to order a few parts the repair took a little longer than expected but they did a fantastic job of keeping us apprised of the situation. I highly recommend if you have mechanical issues get in touch and they can take care of your needs at a very fair price. Highly recommend!!! I ve already began referring people. They went above & beyond!

Incredible business! I took my car to fix a weird sound at a chain mechanic and got told I needed about $1.5k worth of repairs done. I wanted to get a second opinion and a mechanic friend HIGHLY recommended going to 2 Aces. I could not have been happier, the team assured me of exactly what I needed which added up to only about $100 and they were incredibly honest, up front, caring, and trustworthy people. They took the time to thoroughly explain what needed to be fixed and even took me out to my car to show me to help me understand. I am thrilled to have found them and don't want to take my car anywhere else after finding this amazing business. The team is full of super personable, very caring, and genuine people and has an honest, family-vibe to it. They also check in with kind follow-up communication to see if everything went well after your business. I feel very taken care of and am thrilled to trust them so much. Highly highly recommend making these guys your go-to!

I found Two Aces Auto Repair quite by accident. I went to get a vehicle inspected and waited at one of the quicker stickers and nobody showed p to open. I did a quick search and discovered Two Aces. I asked about some auto repairs I needed done and they were less expensive that another service company I had been using. I gave them a shot and have been taking our vehicle there ever since.One of the thing I like best, is they will tell you all your options and don't just try and sell you repairs that are not needed. The are truly professional and I trust them completely. They perform fair and honest work. I not sure how long I have been going there, but it has been years. Give them a shot!

I was planning a 20+ hour trip to get home and was hoping my car would be ready within a few days so that I could leave. I realize it takes time when cars are in the shop and my life problems aren't their problem. They not only got my car ready a day earlier than expected, but they worked fast and professionally to get me safely back on the road. They were upfront with costs and gave me options. Not sure I'll ever be back in San Antonio, but if I was, and needed car work, I would be back here with these guys.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change
