I ordered 2 tires on the Walmart app yesterday and scheduled an install for this evening. Upon arrival there was an issue with my order. Dylan and the guys actually working in the shop were extremely kind and willing to help which is the only reason I'm giving the good review. Miguel, their supervisor however, was extremely rude when he came out to discuss the payment portion of the mix up. I didn't get two words out before he cut me off and began being extremely condescending. The whole service and getting the issue resolved took about an hour and I'd say no more than 5 minutes of that was dealing with Miguel, but he alone really made me want to leave a 1 star rating. The other guys did go above and beyond to cover for their SUPERVISORS behavior though, so I'd feel terrible not giving them the rating they deserve.

Just had an oil change. Scheduled it for 4pm and it didn t get completed until 6pm. Now I am leaving and the engine is smoking. They spilled oil all over my engine and did not clean it up or let me know before driving out.

The people here have nonsense of urgency, time management, or organization, and only the greeter and cashier had any sort of manors.I showed up 5 minutes early for my appointment and waited in line for 20 minutes before being greeted. There were 6 people in the shop. 1 was performing oil changes, 1 was greeting people and telling us where to park, the other 4 were standing around, and the manager was wandering around outside. There were 2 customers in front of me in line, and 1 to my left. The 2 in front were getting oil changes, I was scheduled for a tire change (4 tires). While I was finally being checked in, 1 of the 4 approached the greeter and asked who was handling the tpms relearn for the customer next to me. The greeter told him that the oil change guy was going to do that once he finished the 2 oil changes he was working on. That guy went back to standing around. To relearn tire pressures, you turn the car on, press a button on the tpms learn tool, go to each tire in a specific order, press a button on the tool, wait for a beep, move on to the next tire and repeat. The process literally takes 2 minutes. Why this guy couldn't do it was beyond me. It's basic shop knowledge. After 20 minutes of fumbling around with the iPad, the greeter told me to head inside, and he would start my tire change. He said he was having system issues, so the paperwork won't be in order, but he'll at least get the repair done while that's being fixed. So far, I'd been there for 40 minutes and wasn't even technically checked it. I went inside and waited. The guy with the tpms sensor reset was still waiting, and waited another 20 minutes when the guy that should've just handled it came in and told him that 2 more appointments showed up, so his wait would be even longer. So he'd been waiting at least an hour for a 2 minute process to be completed. The guy suggested he schedule an appointment. The customer asked how to do that. The guy said, "I don't know," and passed him off to a cashier who stopped stocking heavy car batteries to run the register with 4 people waiting in line. This woman looked to be in her 50s. The guy, who looked to be in his early 20s, went back to the shop and stood around some more instead of sticking around to help her stock, or do any kind of work in the shop. Ridiculous.I waited around some more, and my vehicle was finally ready 2 hours after I arrived for my scheduled appointment. The process should've taken 30 minutes at the most; check in, change tires, relearn tpms sensors, pay the bill, and leave. I worked at a dealership in Michigan for 10 years, and it never took longer than that. The fact that I was the first in line for a tire change means there should've been no delay getting my tires swapped out. I would've understood had there been a line in front of me, but I was the only one there with a tire swap, and there were 4 people doing nothing the entire time, and a manager who clearly did not care at all.I will not be going back for any type of service. $80 to install tires, and then they want me to pay another $40 for road hazard? No. I'll plug my own tires, and if they can't be plugged, I will pay full price for a new tire and gladly take it somewhere else for installation. I'll buy parts at Walmart, but I'll never get service done here again. Literally, the only thing I can't do myself is a tire change because I don't have the proper equipment and don't work in a shop anymore. I might just buy a basic balancing stand for $60 and a tire removal tool for $20 and just do that myself, too.

Scheduled a tire change a week prior and the day of the appointment at 7am, no one was there, at 8:30am someone finally came out and said no one would be there until 11am. Came back at 11am, didn't get checked in till 12:30pm, then had to wait at the store to 5:34pm them to finish.Probably won't use the Walmart auto services again.

Literally waited 2 hours for an oil change. Save your time and just pay the extra $20/30 at jiffy lube or something. And everyone is so rude and has an attitude for no reason.

The appointment was for 10am, I was there at 9:55am for replacing all 4 tires. First they made me wait 35 mins because they couldn't find my tires. Then they told me to come back later when they find them. 20 mins later they find them and I come back, they tell me they will service me first. They weren't done until 2:30pm. For 4 tires. I asked once what was taking so long to the Auto Center lead named Nancy, and she was rude and unprofessional. Then, they slapped on additional charges that were NOT listed on the website or their pricing board. And 3 hours after driving away, my low tire pressure light comes on. I go to a gas station to check, ALL 4 TIRES WERE VERY LOW. On top of that, one of my tube's inflation nozzles is mashed and leaking air. I can't even refill it. Terrible experience, and likely not up to code. One mechanic was walking around in normal close with no safety glasses on.Seriously, don't come to this location. Waste of money. If you have to use walmart auto center, drive a little bit further out.

Dropped off a battery for 1 simple thing. Recharge and to see if it's good. Folks here working auto center don't care and lost your battery and won't do anything about it. Great... I'm out of a battery for just leaving to recharge. Incompetent people

Customer service center here in Round Rock needs someone who has people skills as well Customer service and people skills. When you have a customer who sits for more than 30 minutes to be turned away for another customer is unprofessional

They closed early with no warning online so we could not get service when my son's battery died and we had just had to jump the car just to get there

I had two front tires replaced. The two front tires were filled up way too high (36 and 45 PSI instead of the recommended 28 PSI) and the lug nuts on one of the wheels was below standard tightness (thankfully I checked all of their tightness with my torque wrench). Also, when I brake I feel vibration now. I'm going to another WalMart to get a second opinion on the front wheel balancing. I am not impressed with the service I got. It was very sloppy.Service: Auto tire replacement

Yesterday my car was having many issues and I needed to leave town, the African-American male tech got me in and out super fast and was extremely helpful and nice. I would highly recommend him and this Walmart location to anyone! Thank you for your great customer service especially around the busy Holiday weekend and I will definitely be back!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

TERRIBLE experience! They allow online scheduling starting at 7 am, but they do not open until 9 am. I had an appointment scheduled for 8 am; we showed up at 7:45 am and finally found someone to let us know they were not open until 9 am. Once it was 9 am, they didn't take us first. We weren't seen until about 9:30 am. Once our vehicle was taken back, we were told we would get a text message when the car was ready. 11 am rolled around, and no text, so we checked in on it, and it had been ready since 10:30. We also requested to keep the tire that was still in good shape as a spare, but they didn't give it back to us. Such a terrible experience. Will not be using Walmart automotive services again.Service: Auto tire replacement

Associates refuse to help you, saying you have to go through the website to do everything but the website does not even work! Jumped through hoops for a week to finally get ANY tires delivered to their store that would fit my car, then when I showed up for my appointment that they cancelled and I had to reschedule, they tell me they don't even know how to install my tires and that I have to personally haul them to Discount Tire and pay them an additional fee to have them put on. My car isn't even big enough to haul tires, that's why I went through all the trouble to have them shipped to the location that was going to install them! Horrible experience. Every time I tell them any problem they've caused they just put their hands up and say they can't do anything about it.Service: Auto tire replacement

First they never informed me that my vehicle was done. We waited and waited until after closing hours, and finally decided to just go find out what was going on, only to discover they lost our keys. Very rude staff. Got in my car only to find they literally threw our bags around the car to get to my spare tire. Destroyed a toy of my son's, and spilled food everywhere.

The people that work at this one are absolutely wonderful people. I showed up at 5:45 so upset due to a screw in my tire which was almost flat. The manager was so nice to authorize them to stay and fix my tire. They went above and beyond...I work 10 hour shifts the next couple days and for them to have the heart to stay late means so much...they deserve 10 stars...

Got a battery from them about a year and a half ago, but the battery was loosing charge to fast, they tested and told me the battery was good.I took the car to several places including the dealer and they couldn t find anything wrong with the car wiring or alternator, so I went back there and spoke with the manager, and he was super helpful and very professional, I told him my situation and he promptly authorized the replacement of the battery. That s why I m giving Walmart car services ***** 5 stars, great customer services.

After two disastrous visits, this will be the last time I use Walmart for an oil change. Though I was promised I would be contacted when my oil change was finished, I never was. I was left to wander Walmart until I came to check on things at the unattended service desk. When I finally found someone who worked in the auto section and made my way to my car (left unlocked in the parking lot), I discovered my steering wheel, gearshift, and car buttons were covered in grease. To top off the ~experience~ I discovered the mechanics had not bothered to reset my oil change light.Service: Oil change

If you don t have to go here for car service please don t. Terrible service and extremely long wait times. My battery had a 5 year warranty which retailed more than $100 (btw there is not difference in quality of battery you pay extra for a longer warranty). My battery malfunctioned at the 3.5 year mark. I bring it in expecting Walmart to honor the Warranty and replace my battery. Only to find out that the fine print reads 3 year warranty and 2 years of prorate coverage. So $20 back was the best they could do. That gave me the option of buying a new battery with a 1 year warranty for $55 or replacing my battery with the prorated price for $80 (again, there is no difference in quality). Dont by the 5 year warranty it s a rip off. And don t come here.O Reilly s is down the street. They exchanged my other battery at no cost and there service is fast and friendly.

If I could rate this place zero stars I most definitely would. I had not one but two of my cars brought in for an oil change and they got oil all over my daughters car and we had to have them clean it and it didn't all come out yet they said they couldn't do anything about it. If that wasn't bad enough they weren't exactly friendly and the wait was about 3 hours. Definitely won't be going to this Walmart for an oil change ever again!!!

Came here once to get a new tire for one that was going flat every day. It took a while (I've never been to a quick Walmart auto) but they did a good job. The tire they recommended to me was a very good match for my others and I didn't have any problems with it.

I just spent $140 on a new battery and oil change from the Automotive shop here only to find that my dash loudly ticks. It does so regardless of the AC/heat being on or not; in fact, now that whole system is inoperable! It is the middle of winter and the heater that worked when I dropped my truck off no longer works. It didn't do it before I went in for service, and I brought it to Lee's attention (badge says he's been an associate for 20 years). He and the other technician said it's not their fault, walked off and left me stranded in the parking lot with my truck worse off than when I left it. I had to call my father from his job to come and get me, and I am now missing appointments. I have no idea how much this fix will cost now. Save your money and sanity and go somewhere else.

Horrible customer service. It's almost like they don't want your business because they are too lazy to even check you in. And the first thing said to me before hello or anything was 3 hour wait, someone will eventually come talk to you. I had already been waiting 20 min before I even went and asked and was given that rude response. This is my 3rd encounter with that specific employee. He is old, grouchy, and needs to be trained or fired. Clearly Wal-Mart doesn't care about their automotive customers.

Rubbish systems and processes. Went it to get tires replaced and the service lady selected the tires that were available in their system. 6 hrs later, no replacement was done as the tires were not in stock. I was not notified earlier. Service staff were friendly but the walmart inventory system and their process of informing customers is absolute rubbish. First and last time at a walmart auto center. Zero stars.

Kevin was very helpful today. He took the time to explain the reasons my low tire pressure indicator was on. He got me taken care of and out the door fast. Very nice and great customer service.

I took my vehicle to make an oil change and when I arrived I asked the employee for the time it would take to make the oil change to the car, he replied that 30 minutes, so I decided to leave the car in what he did some shopping in which took me more than 30 minutes. I asked about my car in case it was ready, but I was not ready, in fact they had not started working, I complained to the manager who just let me do the time observation and then haughtily told me they had a lot of work, I wanted Explain that they told me when they arrived that it would only take 30 min but I did not let myself speak and I affirm myself and proved by showing me the computer that had only really been 86 minutes in this branch are incompetent and rude.

Trash employees!!! They just don't care about Costumer service at all. Probably they don't get paid well or there is no management!!!After waiting 30 minutes in tire section finally someone came to me and I asked him to balance my tires and he says we don't have any weight to balance your tires!!! Go to another store.

Do not sleep on this place. I am here for all my tire needs. Every since I found I could by tire from Walmart online, I have been hooked. I also get oil changes here as well. Walmart Auto Care Center has made my 2007 Dodge Caliber a very happy camper.

Slow, mind boggling slow. Will never return here. Sat and watched my truck untouched on the lift for 30 minute while employees sat around and talked, then watched minimal progress followed by another 20 minutes of nothing followed by they finally figured out I was getting angry and they finished the job. Tried to add on extras after telling them not to.Wish I could give this place zero stars. Do not come here ever.
