Wal-Mart automotive used to be a great place for oil service. Now, the oil service isn't so great. The employees are nice but theyre ALWAYS late and they never have Mobile 1 synthetic oil.

Got here at 830 needing to get a tire mounted with only 2 cars in the bay. It took 2 hours to get a single tire mounted when they weren't even busy. The amount of incompetence and laziness displayed by the employees is absolutely staggering.

If I could give this place a negative 5 star rating, I would. I waited 3 hours for a oil change when they told me it would be an hour and a half. Then, when I go to pay, walmart doesn't even accept Google pay. It's 2023!!!! Then the little fat boy white manager says they can't release the vehicle till I pay for the service. I told him google pay is an accepted form of payment. I can't help that yall don't accept it. He again said they can't release my car and at this point my blood is boiling because that's my freaking car and who are you to hold my car from me over a 25 dollar oil change all because yall don't take a form of payment that everyone else does. This was the worst customer experience I've ever experienced, and I will never go back to walmart in my life

OMG!!! I walk in at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon and really need a new tire my old tire is showing tread and car is shaking when I go over 30mph. I explain this to Patrick ( which his nametag says he s been there over 10 years) he still tells me that that they are not taking any tires today. He is willing to let a fellow human being drive a car that has a bad tire that can potentially blowout. Marc was very nice and told us that he can take us in but we will have to wait that is fine for me but I don t want to have someone work on my car who could start rushing because he is trying to get off. So I called Louis Henna and limping over there. So thank you Marc for wanting to help and SCREW YOU PATRICK and you 10 years of customer service

Employees went out of their way to mount the tires on my Subaru. Prompt service considering I just walked in without an appointment. Thank you all for your help.

Took a while to get my battery replaced but I was pleased to know that they don t bump larger projects for smaller ones. Makes me more willing to let them work on my more difficult automotive problems.

Hours state 8am-6pm on Sundays per sign and phone call. Come on at 5:20pm and they state they aren't taking any more cars. Asked for a manager waited 8 minutes and none came. Horrible customer service!!

Called and was told my battery was under warranty and qualified for a free Replacement. Story was 100% the opposite when I arrived. Just flat out lied to get me stranded at their shop and had no choice but to buy another one of their batteries for $140.

Took my vehicle in for oil change everything was ok until another customer came in with a complaint/ Issue and everything stopped with my vehicle to attend the person who had the issue and by the way arrived after I had been there for a while. I did not say anything for a few minutes til I looked out and saw my vehicle just sitting idly.I don't mind if a customer has his complaint acknowledged but not at my expense. My money is the same color as his. My business there was no different than his. They give you a ticket for a reason, can't just put 1 customer in front of another no matter the complaint

Showed up for appt. At 8 and center was closed. Waited for an hour to opened at 9. Waited another 45 minutes in line. Only had 3 of 4 tires I pre- ordered. Arrived at 8, left at 12:30. Poor management

I took in some batteries to warranty them out staff tested the batteries for me tried to charge him and then called me to let me know they were ready for me to come get/exchange. They warrantied out the batteries after they failed the charging test. I made the whole process super easy since I did not have to wait around the entire time. It was a very good experience. I would buy vehicle batteries from here again!

Love the staff here. Really helpful, especially when I blew a tire at 5:30pm on a Friday before a holiday weekend. They were upfront about wait time and as promised, I didn't wait more than the hour they said it would take. Took my car back to get more new tires for the remaining ones needing replacement. Oil changes are pretty quick too, if you don't drop your car off during peak hours and expect super speedy service. Will definitely be returning here. My tires were looking especially bad and they recommended I get my car allignment and suspension checked. Sure enough, I needed my suspension fixed! These guys are good with the identifying the problem and fixing your tires, doing oil changes, and helping replace batteries. If you're expecting someone to diagnose your car problems, then take it to a full service mechanic!

I wish I could rate this place NEGATIVE 5 stars. Dismissive staff that was not knowledgeable. The guy who helped me find which battery I needed was not confident that he had picked the right one, which made me nervous. That same guy said it would be a 1.5 to 2 hour wait. So after an hour and 15 mins I checked to see where my car was at in line - turns out my car had already been done a while ago... they just forgot to tell me. Who knows how long I was waiting there for nothing. Hopefully it was the right battery they installed! Absolutely horrible experience all around.

I started at the Georgetown store. No one came to check in my car for oil change. I overheard techs saying they were running a 3 hour wait with only 2 cars being serviced and no one else in queue. I called the Red Bud location and the lady said it would be an hour wait. I left Georgetown never hearing from an employee and headed here. Check in was quick and simple. She said it would be 45 mins because there was one car ahead of me. It only took 25 mins and I was on my way. Excellent service. Will return again. Thank you, Eddie!

Great service as far as what was performed on the car. Probably some of the worst customer service I have seen in a long time. Manger sitting right behind the register wont help with an override because he on lunch when there are 9 people in line waiting to check out. Absolutely no rush to help the people waiting at all. Overall if you just want you car done and dont care how your treated and are not in any hurry then sure go here.

This place boarders on a 60/40 split of getting poor customer service to ok customer service, far from stellar. I have only used this place a few times because the false hope of it being convenient like my first time there. I have bought batteries from here twice the first time the associate was very helpful and notified me to bring in my old battery avoid core fees. The second time they were closing at 6:30ish so I had to bring the battery to the front to get checked out. I was directed to go to here by a store employee to get a copy of an car key made and after waiting in line the time came around to 6:30ish and they were closing so that was that. I have brought in an unmounted tire that needed repair, nothing crazy just a small screw hole in the center of the tire, and it was around magic hour. The associates were talking to each other and after a few minutes one of them asked me how they could help me. I simply stated I needed a tire repair and it was "oh it is 6:30 and we are closing, but we will be open tomorrow at 7am." All this to say that customer service is actually a thing and it take more than asking can you help when you know you are not going to. I know it would help to show up earlier but emergencies are not bound by time. So if you only service customers till 6:30 PM put your store hours to 6:30 PM. People expect that you will service customers during your posted hours like every other business.

This place is an absolute joke.Go in with carry in wheel/tire mount, get quoted 20min. 2 hours later they still haven t even started so I decide to just leave. While loading up, Randy, mishandles the opened box containing the wheel. It falls in the street getting damaged.I was going to let it go as an accident until I see him laughing about it in my rear view.Go back in, told there s insurance forms blah blah....Instead of all that, just agreed with management for another tech, Emmit, to mount them for free and I d pick them up the next day.Next day while picking up I ask for a service record ticket but am told by Emmit that I m being complicated and seem like I m just trying to hold them accountable twice. No, just want a record of service in case there was a mistake made..etc. Normal procedure I would think? I ask for manager who says they can t write it up bc then it would charge me . Apparently they can t figure out how to credit or discount a ticket. Also, while handing me the hub centric rings, he calls them spacers of some kind ...Just a whole lot of incompetence here, but I guess you can t expect much from people who s life ambitions have only taken them as far as Walmart Auto Center.Edit: Noticed these directional tires were all mounted in the same direction when I got home (vs 2 drivers and 2 passenger). Not even going to try to have them fix it, who knows what more damage they could do.

Bought a battery from the store that they are suppose to install for free but once again it wasn't even opening claiming not enough mechanics. Too often attempting to use this service for various things like oil changes and tires they couldn't help because they were either missing essentials to do the job or were not even open.

Horrible service, would give zero stars if I could. I came in early in the morning to get an oil change and was told it would take an hour and a half. So I walked around the store for two hours, then went to check on the status of my car. They then told me it would be atleast another additional three hours. Why would yall take my phone number if you cant reach out to say its going to be an additional 3 hours. This is ridiculous.

I just wanted to say that Brandon did a heck of a job for me, and I could not thank you enough. We usually always go to Walmart for our general auto needs but this particular location was excellent and again for the service tech Brandon you are the best.Service: TiresService: Tires

Blue haired manager is a joke, staff was rude. The worst customer service I ve ever experienced. Would give zero stars if I could. Fire her and hire a real manager, or at least get her into a class on customer service.

Their wait times are insane. I don t blame the crew who wants to do the job but Walmart culture of being slow with the process takes time. You would experience the sloth bank from zootopia.

I ordered tires from Walmart online (first time and the last). Their tire center told me they can't install them without a special tool. The special tool was a regular deep socket. What tire center doesn't have a normal/common set of deep sockets. They wanted me to purchase a set of deep sockets in the store...ya this is just silly (they sell the correct tool in the store but the mechanics don't have a set!!!). They called a manager, of course no manager came to help. I'm now driving away with tires in the back of my suv uninstalled. Worst tire experience ever. Unprofessional and unequipped garage to handle even simple tasks.

The workers here are great but the wait times can be incredible. Get there early or else you could be there for the whole day.
