Avoid this place if you value your driveway. After getting an oil change here, I noticed oil puddles in my driveway a couple of hours later. I checked the underside of my vehicle and saw a lot of oil underneath, still dripping. I returned to the location to determine what was wrong. The manager advised me that the oil filter had been installed incorrectly. He had a team member re-seat the filter and wipe down the underside of the vehicle (which was not done very well). He then gave me some powder to put on the driveway to help remove the oil stains and a "coupon" for $30 dollars off my next oil change. I advised him that I wouldn't be returning to this location and asked for a discount on the oil change I just got. He declined. The stains are still on the driveway; looks like it's permanent. Hopefully this review helps you to avoid a similar experience.Edit:I replied to the message that Valvoline left below via email with the information requested, and never received a response.

DO NOT GO HERE! I needed my oil changed on a Sunday and my regular place was closed. I arrived right at opening and was the only car there. I was in and out quickly, but as I was driving to work I noticed a smell of burning oil. When I got to work my car was smoking and the smell was really bad. They had spilled oil all over the engine. I called to complain and they told me to come in and they would clean it up. I drive 30 minutes back to the location, wait 15 minutes for them to finish working on another car and pull in. They just wipe it down with a rag and say I'm good to go. They say they can't use any cleaner because of the smell. Like I could smell anything else besides burning oil. I ask for a refund and all they will do is give me a customer service number that is not open on Sunday. I have been on hold for 20 minutes as I type this on Monday. I have been going to Jiffy Lube for 20 years and have never smelled oil once after an oil change. And they are busy. At Valvoline they had 4 guys working there and couldn't even be bothered to clean up after themselves or even apologize when I went back.Terrible customer service and no attention to detail. It makes me concerned if they even put the right oil in my car, or the right amount. A day and a half later my car still smells like burning oil. Please do not give them your business. You will regret it.

I'm not one to write reviews often, but my recent experience at Valvoline was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share. From the moment I pulled into the bay, I was greeted by Ryan, a technician with infectious energy and a mane of curly hair that matched his personality.Ryan's professionalism was evident from the start. He walked me through the entire oil change process, explaining each step in detail and answering any questions I had. His expertise was clear, but he never made me feel like I was being talked down to.What really set Ryan apart, though, was his sense of humor. He had me laughing throughout the entire service, making the typically mundane task of getting an oil change an enjoyable experience. His lighthearted demeanor and ability to connect with customers are a testament to his genuine care for people.Ryan's ability to balance professionalism with humor is a rare find, and it's what makes him an exceptional technician. He's not just someone who can change your oil; he's someone who can make your day a little brighter. If you're looking for a top-notch oil change experience with a side of wit, I highly recommend Valvoline and asking for Ryan by name. His expertise, professionalism, and ability to connect with customers make him an invaluable asset to the Valvoline team.

Great service! I was pressed for time but needed an oil change so I stopped in here. As a first time customer, I was impressed! It not only was fast service, but the crew was cordial and professional. I also didn t feel the typical haggling that happens at places like this, so that was refreshing. Five stars earned here!

Service was good use a coupon if possible. Very helpful and knowledgeable employeesBig warning: make sure they check your oil again once you start your car they don t put oil in your filter so if they fill your engine oil to the line your filter takes some and it ll already be below full!

I'm not coming back here. They are changing the oil by sucking it through the top of the engine. Not good. The gunk that is resting on the bottom of the oil pan stays. Syntetic blend oil change costs over $100. They recommended differential fluid change at 15k. The manufacturer says 30k. And so many other things that don't make sense.

$100 for an oil change in my Honda civic. When I called later about the price being so high, they offered a $25 coupon but when I said I had already been, they wouldn t refund me the $25.Then my emailed invoice said Severe transmission leak noted I have no leak and no one mentioned it to me when I was there. I called to ask about it and the manager refused to acknowledge the mistake, insisted the SEVERE leak was there.Won t be coming back

My husband and I just left Valvoline . We had to get an oil change on our truck. Normally it cost $109 give or take a few dollars and that s fine but what isn t fine is when they got done the total was $150!!!! We have never ever paid that much at Valvoline . Then we didn t even get a receipt so we could see what was charged and why it was so high. Instead, we got a paper that showed the suggestions on services. I know they charged us higher and they were trying to keep the charges from us. We will NEVER use them again. Do not recommend them I gave one star because I couldn t post without a rating.Service: Oil change

Been there twice now. Good group of guys. They have my business.

These guys are fast but thorough. They worked together as a team to get the job done right. They have these new machines that pump out the oil right in front of you. After the oil change, they show you the oil stick with the shiny, new oil. I'll be back for sure.

A family member took their car here for a routine oil change and overheating issue. The tech took nearly an hour for what was supposed to be a 15 minute fix, and when we left the overheating was even MORE prominent. The manager then recommended a radiator flush it was done INCORECCLTY. How do we know? The car blew a head gasket which TOTALED our engine and left us with a bill to fix of nearly $7,000. There was air bubbles when the radiator was flushed causing this massive issue impacting the ability to get to work. When asking the tech what to do at Valvoline, they simply said "try taking it to a real mechanic."This location has not been helpful in returning our calls and the manager has been dodging everything behind FAQ and helpline answers. They will NOT take responsibility for their mistakes and simply pass you off into a "real mechanic" once they take your money. You're better off staying away from these amateurs, or simply looking how to change your oil yourself on YouTube.

Had an absolute terrible time here with my ford last year they used a bad oil pan plug and it leaked in my driveway the guy explained this as he brought it back but said they were all bad and needed to wait two days for the replacement and top off my oil. After speaking with a mechanic they said I should get their at fault in writing. Called them back and he said yes he would give it to me in writing showed up the next day and changed his tune. Would not give me the above store managers info. Spoke to valvoline and they have two lines with two departments said the manager would contact me they did not. I drove into Austin found a plug and went to a proper mechanic for an oil change. I thought they were a big enough business to train employees properly and own mistakes but they re not.

Requested inspection. They claimed the entire state system was down and said no one was doing any inspections in the entire state - that they called other places to verify. There were six of them standing there doing nothing.I drove across the street and had my car inspected in less than 10 minutes. They turned away several people in front of me.Inexcusable.

My sister in law took her car here that had less than 50k miles on it for an oil change and they up sold her on a radiator flush. They left air bubbles in the line and it caused her car to over heat and blew a gasket that ruined her engine. The manager and area manager are unwilling to acknowledge the issue their techs caused, who aren t certified mechanics by the way. A senior tech came out to her job where she was safely able to park to look at the car and fix the issue. He told her he fixed it and she was good to drive, now because she drove and the car over heated the area manager is saying it isn t their fault because she drove the car. Well it was his tech that told her to drive it. It s costing her 6k+ to replace the engine and they won t do anything to help. Do not do business with them. Also their techs are only certified by Valvoline and have no real mechanical experience. Do not do business here.

Without my permission they took the carbon filter out of my car and then tried to sell me a new one for 50$ and told me he could give me a 10$ discount when I could buy one online for 20$ these people are ridiculous!!

They are the worst place to take your car to. They will try to up sale you on things you don t need. Try to take advantage of you when you don t know about cars. My sister went there to get an oil change. They sold her on things that didn t need to be done like radiator flush. Left air in the line and now her car motor blown up. Then when they make a mistake the will tell you to take it to a mechanic they are technicians. The mechanic checks the car and said it s their fault. She let them talk to the mechanic and they don t want to take responsibility for it. Now she got to take legal action. Please DONT GO THERE. They don t know what there doing. And apparently they even actual mechanics. Just do yourself a favor and take it to a mechanic. Who knows what they are doing. These people are terrible.

My sister, Kara, took her car here for an oil change, they suggested she do a radiator flush also but they left air bubbles in her radiator which caused her car to blow a gasket and now she needs a whole new engine. Repair costs are just over $6,000 and they have been unwillingly and refusing to compensate despite the mechanic telling them they caused it. The area manger Dan has been very unresponsive, not returning calls when he says he will, and was very rude to the mechanic that diagnosed the issue because he wouldn't tell him what he wanted hear. He is trying to say the gasket blew because was driven while over heating. Well this man is pulling at strings, cars don't over heat when not on being driven. You can't just stop immediately in the middle of the freeway when you car over heats, you have to pull over somewhere safe and by then the damage was done. Their senior tech even came to her job to look at it and said he fixed the problem and she was safe to drive. She got a mile before it over heated again, it was valvolines tech that said she could drive home or else she would have got the tow truck at that point. After doing some digging, we found out that the people working on cars are not real mechanics but people who were certified only be Valvoline, she was told by their senior tech to contact a real mechanic to diagnose the problem . This goes way beyond the code of ethics listed on their website. I would definitely think twice about doing business here.

These guys are quick and do great work. I recently noticed my truck had a slow drip oil leak from the filter. I pulled in and they identified a recalled filter as the issue. They replaced it with a good one and topped off the oil; I was in and out in 5 minutes. Anyone can have a bad part; these guys stood behind their work and makes things right. Great service.

I visited today, the service was okay, For the oil change, I was the only vehicle in the bay. The sticker they printed out was did not have the miles or date on it. The wrote it out by hand because Mondo stated they could not print off another one. To top it off, no receipt was provided...

If you think you are getting an oil change 30 minutes before they close, then you might want to reconsider.,They park at least one employee car in front of the bay to make it look like there is a wait. Happened again to me today, so I just went home. I'll change it myselft at home in the morning- again.Inspections - I don't even try any more. Big sign out front that says inspections, yet there is never anyone there certified to do one. Although I hate giving Kwik Kar my business, the last five of our vehicles have not been inspected at Valvoline because every time I pull up they tell me to come back tomorrow or in two days.

My aunt took her car here for an oil change and they up sold her on a radiator flush. They left air bubbles in the line and it caused a gasket to blow causing her to need to replace the engine which will cost about 6k. The area manager is denying any responsibility saying she shouldn t have driven the car and the engine wouldn t have been damaged. Well it was his senior tech that said he fixed the car when it first started to over heat and said she was ok to drive. Do not do business here, they aren t real mechanics they are only certified through valvoline to change oil and when they ruin your car will make any excuse to not take responsibility and fix the what they caused. Also the reviews on google are sorted to read only the good reviews first and there is a whole Facebook group that has been staying the issues they have had with this location and other local Austin locations. I smell all big lawsuit waiting to happen all because they won t do the right thing.
