Absolutely amazing service from Mannix Automotive! Rich is so trustworthy and you can tell he genuinely cares for your car as if it was his own. He takes time to explain what s going on and why it s important. I ve never once had an uncomfortable feeling about being in his auto shop like I ve unfortunately gotten in the past at many chain places. He is honest and caring which is something I truly appreciate.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Was just looking for estimates to get my girlfriend's car fixed. Mannix was one of the local shops we'd decided to include. When Rich called with the estimate, it was so reasonable I told her to just go ahead and get it done. I didn't think "reasonable" was a concept that still existed in auto repair, but Rich restored my faith in the industry. Super fast service and just a real nice guy. I'll definitely be using Rich again and would highly recommend him.

Rich took care of our needs quickly and has excellent service. Trustworthy automotive service! In a place full of crooks, he will not steer you wrong!I ended up using this guy a bunch of times. Since he fixed everything that other people didn't fix the first time (LAMBS), I don't need to go back. When I do need something fixed, I will use him again because he did good work the first time and completely fixed the problems and was honest up front about the costs and didn't try selling me things that I didn't need. He did more work than the competition and for less money. Rich is the best! We've used him several times and he goes the extra mile to explain what's going on. We needed parts for our toyota and after realizing how expensive the parts would be, he sat down and made some calls that saved us a ton. Excellent business and owner. Rich is just a good person that happens to own an automotive shop. I own a business and have several trucks and Rich has worked on two of them. Seriously, even if you live a little far out and you've had trouble finding a reputable automotive shop then you need to call Rich at Mannix Automotive.

So, I work down the street from Mannix. My car's starter went out so I called this place because it was the closest. Rich is his name. I spoke with Rich. He seemed very concerned about my vehicle and was even willing to help tow it over to his shop. I was impressed from the beginning. Fortunately a friend from work helped me push it on over. Rick went out of his way to get my part and had it installed and ready to go early the next day. Rich was friendly, professional, and his work was perfect. He was a life saver. I had my car back when I needed it and the cost was probably twice as less as it would have costed me in a dealership. Thank you Rich. I highly recommend Mannix Automotive!

I just sent my 2009 Cadillac CTS in for a starter replacement. He set up a time to take it in and it was ready a day later! My dad and I have had multiple vehicles serviced by Rich and I can say that he does quality work for a fair price. Rich is your go-to guy. He worked on my 03 Volvo XC 90. He didn't nickle and dime me like most automotive shops will do. Diagnosis was efficient and cheap. Definitely doing business with rich in the future.

I have not been here, but when I called, the gentleman was very helpful and honest. He was not able to assist with my problem, and he turned me to another business that could. Honesty and integrity like this will make me go here for Mt next vehicle issue.

Our 2004 Ford Excursion PSD recently experienced a coolant leak while pulling our travel trailer. The truck was put on a dyno and pressure tested. The diagnosis was blown head gaskets. Of course all of these types of failures happen when you only have a couple of weeks before your vacation trip. I obtained price quotes from 3 shops and our local Ford dealer but was not satisfied with the reviews from these shops. I made a few phone calls looking for an experienced diesel tech. Those calls and Yelp reviews led me to Mannix Automotive in Round Rock. All I could find were 5 star reviews and now I know why. With two weeks to go until our trip Rich agreed to take the truck in for the needed repairs. With his diagnosis we agreed to replace several additonal parts in addition to the head gaskets. The truck body was lifted off the frame to make the engine more accessible. He also went the extra mile to have a machine shop resurface the heads and hot wash the intake manifold. The goal was to bulletize the Ford 6.0 liter engine. He finished the work with 5 days to spare. He asked that we drive the truck for several days then return to his shop for a final inspection. He is a one man shop but does amazing quality work. Two days after receiving the truck back we hooked up the 10K pound trailer and headed for the Rocky Mountains. We drove about 2100 miles at altitudes up to 13K feet. We had no issues with overheating or coolant puking. Truck performed flawlessly. I'm not an easy person to please so it's not often I write a review. Rich comes highly recommended.
