*EDIT* Im editing my review because once Dan got involved my experience made a complete 180. I received great communication on what was happening and when and my van looks better than new.*They had my only work vehicle for almost a month before they decided it was non repairable. This was only communicated to me when I went into the shop to inquire about a completion date because they didn't return my phone call. I had originally been told it would be 4 to 6 weeks. They have not even notified my insurance company yet.

My Brand new vehicle was damaged in the hail storm in September I had Jason and the team repair the hail damage. It came out perfect . There were a few delays that were totally out of their control (some moldings were on back order)After I picked it up I had an accident and again I used them to repair it.My insurance company had estimated the damages and literally missed obvious and also damage they couldn t see until the crew at GP1 did a thorough disassembly and complete estimate. There was some back and forth between my insurance company and GP1 (Dan-Jason-Nathan) and between some help from GP1 and me insisting on new and factory parts (GP1) price matched a lot to make sure they used the parts that were from Nissan (no knock off or junkyard parts my ins.co. Was pushing for . I was worried about my warranty and how it would look. It came out perfect. It s like it never happened..it was worth the wait and understandably so.If people want their car fixed correctly and want a team to make sure you are made whole this is the place to go.I also had a family member have 2 cars fixed by them (1 was a corrective repair from another nearby nationally recognized chain that had zero care or concern for her safety or how it looked when it was done.Sorry for long review but I see people complaining about length of time and I wonder why anyone would want to rush such a thing with safety and also not understand what goes into the whole process. I am certain this team does not want to have any vehicle longer than needed. Thanks Jason Dan Nathan and the lady named Katie who helped me track down the payments that took a little longer than they should. Have .

Both my husband and I have used this company 3 times now. We were impressed with first two visits and reason I went back 3rd time. My car has been at this shop since end of February. I got regular updates until mid March. I was supposed to pick up my car on 3/28. When I didn t hear from Eric, I drove there hoping to collect my car. I didn t even have to go in coz I could see it at the lot, still with major damage. I didn t bother them, I contacted my insurance to extend my rental. I haven t heard from anyone and I stayed patient knowing about parts delays. Early this week 4/17, I was told my final rental insurance coverage will be on 4/22. So I contacted Eric to find out when my car will be ready. Mind you, haven t heard from him since mid March. He told me the final missing part was the wheel, they had it and were going to install it, then complete wheel alignment. And he was to update me before end of the day. Didn t hear from him, alright they re busy people and am not their only customer. Today I called again, 4 days later. Wheel has been installed, planning on wheel alignment today. I will contact you with an update. Should I really trust this??? I haven t even paid my out-of-pocket $500, and am already out $$$ from paying my part of the car rental. Can y all at-least consider length of stay for repairs and prioritize? I really need this sorted out please. And Eric, please improve on communication. It makes a huge difference. I understand you re busy, but communication is part of customer service in this era.5/10/2023Thank you Daniel for the follow up. I actually left you a voicemail today. I have attached pics of my car after repairs so you see why am flustered. I showed your tech Eric the front part of the hood before I left your lot and he minimized my concerns. Two days later, the left part started gaping and the front part of the hood became wider. I dropped my car yesterday and was told they would repair and promised a rental should they need my car longer. I called in the evening and apparently more parts need to be ordered to fix my car properly. You had my car for two months, I guess all parts finally came in and reason my car was returned to me, why did Eric do such a shady job? I owe $$$ in rental car fees and now am out of a car again because someone neglected to do their due diligence within the 2 months they had my car. And apparently the updates I had been getting before, were for another car and not mine, hence the reason for the delay in getting my car back (as per Eric, he didn t realize that he had been giving me the wrong car updates because he has 50 cars assigned to him and he s mostly stuck at his desk. I couldn t believe this statement and I acknowledge that I lost it). I pray that I never need your services again. Could someone get back to me about a rental please. I shouldn t have to add to my $2k bill already for your mistakes. Please see pics below. Am more than happy to share the before pics for comparison.Service: Body & Trim

Had my car for over 2 months, for a minor rear end collision and was unfortunately in shop during hail storm. So end up getting more damage. There seemed to be no urgency and always had to call for updates. When I finally received vehicle, I tried to get a hold of management. But never heard back after a couple attempts of reaching out

Brought in an estimate from a third party insurance company in order to have it reviewed and possibly schedule a minor repairs on my car. Met with Chris, who made copy of the estimate and promised to review the quote and give me a call. It s been 3 weeks since then, and I ve heard nothing from Chris. Even after calling severally to get an update, simple courtesy demands you treat people with respect. I understand it s a possibility they may not accept the insurance provider, but what does it take to give a potential customer that feedback? Where is the professionalism? Some employees can definitely use some up training, doesn t speak well about the culture and ethics of the company.

I had the pleasure of working with Chris! He was thorough, quick, and educated on the matter. I truly had a fantastic time working with him. Although the car was deemed a total loss, he did everything completely correct with repair estimates, customer service and making me feel valued! I wish to have worked with him a bit longer, however the time we were in contact I truly can give him 10 stars for his professionalism. The front desk staff was also a pleasure to speak with. Follow up calls and communication were superb!

Had my 18 year old Porsche, in purfect condition, fixed there. Very small side dent where someone backed into me at 1 mph.Yet it required that the rear fender and door to be painted to insure a smooth transition. Everything matches and looks as if it was never worked on or painted. Chris the service writer, kept me informed at every step of the way with pictures and explanation of what was being done. He was excellent and extremely couteous, and very aware of my concern to insure the job would be done well.It took a little longer than expected, however it was due to some hidden damage and a need to get a few Porsche parts. Chris informed me of the delay and reason for it, so I wasn't concerned.I am extremely pleased with their overall customer focus, every person at their company, including their receptionist and other workers I encountered, were very friendly and courteous.(I am a first time customer and not associated with Group 1 in anyway!)I hope I don't need body work on my car in the future, however, if I do, I would definitely go back to Group 1.

My experience was amazing. The staff was friendly, I got frequent updated about my vehicles repair progress and Maureen went above and beyond to make sure everything was squared away with the insurance company. I give 5 stars and more.

My truck was in there for 1 month and 1/2 almost, was told they were waiting on parts for quite some time and what not. Long story short i just got it back 3 days ago and was told it came out perfect. It did NOT, the paint was dripping and all dryed up, the clear coat is peeling from the front, the paint is HORRIBLE the paint job is the worst i ve ever seen the paint is literally all wavy it is not smooth like my other side is and how i told it was going to be exactly like the other side, the dent i had previously in damage is still there and i even have a new dent on my driver side of my truck that wasn t there previously when i took it, and my door from the inside is all loose and wiggly. Overall don t recommend at all.Services: Painting, Body & Trim, Welding

DO NOT take your vehicle here. After hail damage that occurred in Sept last year my truck is still having issues. Every time the truck is "ready," it's full of obvious work defects that need to be addressed. Now I have fuses blowing and grinding from my driver seat motor, because they took the truck apart and didn't put it back together properly. Instead of actually diagnosing the issue, they suggest it's the car (17k miles) and I should go to Honda to get it fixed, nope couldn't be the work that wad done in those areas. I have spent hours of my time driving the (lack of) results on my vehicle and 4 months later the saga hasn't ended yet. My insurance recommended this place and I won't make that mistake again.

I was working with Nathan and Jason Hart. They took in my Mercedes Benz EQB for repair , and then gave the car back with broken number plate frame. They then refused to repair it, saying I have to go to the showroom directly and pay for it. Although, with the photos it was very obvious that GP1 repair shop broke the number plate frame, and ironically they agreed as well that they broke it , but still refused to repair it , without any explanation or reason !Their entire attitude , from start to finish, reeks of arrogance. I am sorry to say but worst body repair shop I have worked with. They don t have any honesty or dignity in their work. Took over 45 days for a simple repair, never gave me ETAs for delays on repairs , and final cost was double the initial estimate (which was provided after taking parts off the car).

Hassle-free and kept me up to date. I had an insurance claim, they already had the paperwork from the insurance company and I was in and out dropping the car off in a few minutes. I lived close enough to get a ride back home and it was arranged quickly. I got a few updates through the process, which was nice, especially since a nasty hail storm hit. The car was even done a few days before they estimated it and picking the car up was just as painless, I think it took more time to walk across the lot than to actually check out. Been driving it for about a week and no complaints with the work.Services: Painting, Electrical, Body & Trim

My Subaru got hit by the golf ball sized hail in late September. GP1 was able to get me in for repairs right away and I'm happy with the outcome. My car looks brand new as if nothing ever happened to it. Robert kept me updated along the way and was courteous.

Took 3 weeks to get my vehicle back. My only complaint...they thought it okay to disassemble the camera I had installed professionally in my vehicle and just leave the cords hanging by my feet. They also messed with the actual camera itself. Initially, at drop-off, all of the cords had been tucked in, and the camera was parallel to the windshield and not popped out. Not very cool of them. Very slow in doing the job. My car has been in the shop for almost 2 months now. Each time I call they say still need to order a missing part or something. They promised they would get the car ready before holidays and now they found out they missed a part. Very disappointed. Will update the review on the workmanship once I get the car

I had 2 claims1 for hail and 1 for hitting a deer. . Immediately the nice lady who took my call advised me they were booking appointmentsOver a month out but due to me being insured by one of their partner insurance companies they would do everything they could do to help. I tried to reserve a rental and the rental company associate(who was rude) in a uncaring tone said good luck finding one in less than a month. Well with the help from the man at the 1st desk Jason I believe was his name they secured me a ride to another rental location who did help and get me into a car.People need to be nice in both sides customer and businessThe business s are facing material and parts shortages . Rental companies Are facing car shortages . Shops are facing worker shortages from stores to restaurants to every business Everyone is effected. We all must be patient and do the best we can.GP1 did a great job on the deer collision work and Their hail team did a great job on the hail.Yes it took 6 weeks for both but the delays were on my insurance co. And the parts needed . The shop did all they could .Gina Jason and the girl at the call center helped me as best and as fast as they could .The manager thanked me for my patience andEven Called me to keep me informed when he could to help his staff (who are all trying to handle more due to staffing issues)Thank you GP1 and o hope I don t need you again but if I do I ll be back . I will definitely recommend. I would give 10 stars if possible.Service: Body & Trim

I had a scheduled appointment at 1 PM on 10/11/2023 with someone named Brandon. Waited almost 40 minutes and he never showed. I understand it is busy but if a business cares about customers, they should at least inform them that an appointment cannot me met. Being busy is also not an excuse as customers such as myself have to take time off of work, skip lunch to try to make an appointment. They may do decent work but I will never know as I will never contact this place again and will also tell colleagues to never come here as well. Not showing up to an appointment and consulting with the customer is probably a bad sign that could lead to worse experiences in the future.

I wrecked the front of my car. The whole thing had to replaced. Robert at GP1 was absolutely amazing. Very communicative, on top of repairs and over all his customer service was great. He went out of his way to make sure my car would turn out the best it could possibly could. It did take a while with parts being back ordered but the end product was better than when I got the car. I highly recommend using them and having him as your point of contact.Service: Body & Trim

I hope you never have an issue because, if you do, getting them to make it right is beyond frustrating. They did a poor job on some trim (it started coming off within a few days on both sides). They ordered the parts. A couple of weeks later I called as I had received no call (which is, unfortunately, normal...they simply do NOT return calls). I was told the parts were in "somewhere" and I'd get a call back in a few minutes. That call never happened. Since then I've been calling 2-3 times a week, I get routed to voicemail, and never get a call returned. It should not take over a month to get shoddy workmanship corrected.Service: Body & Trim

I have liberty mutual insurance so I don't need to say the name of my service adviser. My first complaint is my service adviser, she does not call people back. She also does not look over her customers cars with her own eyes or she would have known that there was a problem with the paint matching my 2017 Silver dodge ram. This is now the second time my truck is in this shop because of the list below.1. Driver tail light bolts were not put back in2. rubber molding on roof was put on with dust under it so it came loose.3. window rubber molding must have not been replaces when removed because they started sliding up and trying to fly off in the wind.4. The paint didn't match so they painted a front fender that didn't need to get painted, just blended to conceal the colors not matching. I keep thinking that the colors not matching was in my head until someone who didn't know my truck had work done on it asked me if I had work done on it cause the paint didn't match. It took me a month to verify that it was different, very different. So now my truck is in the shop with the same service adviser and never any call backs or updated. My truck has now been in this shop going on 12 weeks total time. Once again, my service adviser called me only when my truck was ready and when I inspected it, the fender flairs didn't even match. The difference was not subtle, it was like night and day. My fender flairs are matted and the fender flairs that put on are shiny. So, If my service adviser would have at least put her eyes on my truck, This would have been an obvious mistake. Not only that, There were screws missing on my fender flairs. This is so scary. This makes me wonder of there are any other nuts and bolts missing where I can not see. BTW, Once again, my service adviser just handed me my keys, she didn't even walk me to my truck to inspect it. It was a "Here you go". Lousy service.I have gotten 2 updates in the past 5 weeks, That's not bugging. The updates I received where from other service advisers. So, my truck was ready on Wednesday July 13th, I rejected it on Thursday for the fender flairs. I left a voice message on Monday 25th to get an eta from my service adviser, no call back so I called back at the end of the day on Tuesday 19th like at 4:30 pm and I was able to speak to another service adviser. He called me back at 6:09 pm that same day. I wish my service adviser was even a fraction as good as this one. Today is Friday, 22nd and I left a voicemail for my service adviser over two hours ago and surprise surprise, no call back.Ok, After all of this, I will tell you that the only thing that I think was worthy of praise was the quality of the paint job. Even though the paint didn't match the first time and they tried to conceal it, the quality of the paint job was excellent. When I rejected the truck on the the 13th, the paint actually matched and the paint job looked good.Update:So, today is Friday, 07/16/2018. I will tell you that although my experience has not been the best with this company, there are individuals in this company that will work on and make errors correct. They have not allowed me to be hung out to dry. In particular, Jason Sparks responded to my issue promptly and has seem to have a genuine concern for his customers. In the end, GP1 Collision center has made it right by my eyes. That speaks tons for this operation.

My car is with repair shop since May 10th and still no sign of completing repair. Received three revised ETA for delivery in past two weeks.Whenever I call repair advisor Eric/Jason/Junior, I hear one standard statement, "All parts are ready except one. We got one bad part, once we receive replacement your car will be next". This has been going on for almost 15 days now. I already maxed out on my rental and have to return the car to the rental agency on 6/2.Sent email to Dan Wheeler , Collision Center head to escalate, but no response.Totally unprofessional and irresponsible repair center and staff.Update 6/19: Got my car back. Bumper Alignment issues found, need to go back again for fix

People in the office are good but the person managing my car wasn't. Was told 1 to 2 weeks at drop-off, which ok I understand. He said he would call after they looked at the car taken apart to give a better estimate, saying he would call. He didn't call until almost a week later saying hey your car should be ready Friday for pick up. On Friday, I called at almost the end of the day since he hadn't called asking. Hey, is my car ready?, which he said they are pulling together. It is almost done just let me call u back. He didn't call back. So Saturday I called and was told my car isn't ready and won't be ready until Monday at earliest and they will have someone call me Monday. So now didn't have vehicle all weekend due to me being told I should pick up Friday. Not mad about time at all. I am mad about being told something that wasn't true so returning borrowed car and being stranded.

After filling out paperwork, the estimator comes up like it was a hassle to do his job. Starts complaining about the heat and bright sun, maybe one too many the night before? I show him where the car hit mine and tell him about the gaps and trunk are misaligned, he kind of scoffed and says GM is known for having misaligned panels. I say, ok let me put it this way, they were not like this before the accident. His response, I'm not trying to have a attitude...my response, yes, you do have a attitude and I'll take my car elsewhere. I guess then his little feelings got hurt and says sarcastically, you can take your vehicle wherever you want and scurried back to the AC before he melted. I hope this guy isn't the best you have working there because, wow. Now I believe these negative reviews. Take your vehicle elsewhere.
