Went in for a quick 4 wheel alignment after doing suspension work on a Cadillac DTS and had a great experience. Robert set me an appointment for early in the morning and got right toit. Job done well, good price and very professional. Got a new set of wiper blades and a nice cup of coffee. The place is super clean and the staff is second to none . A+ experience. I will do work with these guys again. Thank you

Finding a trustworthy mechanic is not easy. We have four vehicles in our family and staying on the road is not fun. Chris, Robert, and the crew at Cornerstone are honest, professional, and kind. The price has been fair and they have fixed issues that multiple other shops have not been able to find for us. I wouldn t recommend any other place for your vehicle. Thank you Cornerstone!

I had an issue troubleshooting a problem with the alignment on my truck after a small accident. Chris and his team were very professional and had a solution for me in no time. They diagnosed the truck and had me back on the road. Very thankful for the honesty and professionalism from theese guys.

Everyone there is extremely friendly. Very helpful. This was my first time taking my car into a shop, and they were so nice!!10/10 would recommend!!! Plus, they play really good music in the waiting room.Building is clean.People are great.Prices are good.I won't be going anywhere else.

10 days previous to the time of this review I took my 2012 Mazda 6 in for an oil change and inspection. When I got the car back the brake fluid cap was off and the mechanic had driven it in that state. I lost all confidence that I was dealing with a mechanic that had attention to detail and proper care at that point.Yesterday, my check engine light came on, I pulled over, the car was overheated and the coolant reservoir was completely empty. I saw that there was battery acid all over the battery, the battery seat, and big hose going from the engine to the radiator. This had been leaking for awhile by the looks of it.I checked the oil and there was coolant in the oil, froth on the cap, and so much that it went halfway up the entire dipstick. According to other mechanics I've contacted, this means the head gasket blew or the block cracked from overheating, where it is most likely because the battery acid wore the hose enough that all the water escaped while under pressure, the car overheated, and now needs a new engine.You'd think that the mechanic I was paying to inspect the car would of spotted that the battery seal had failed. The car is now junk. I will now be riding a bicycle around until I can manage a to buy a new car.Needless to say, I don't think I will be using this particular shop again. I'm currently pondering what it would take to prove negligence.

All I'm going to say is thank you to Kim, David and Sean for recommending Cornerstone Automotive. Hands down the best Automotive business in town. Had another business here in town give me a quote on replacing a cv joint, over $1000.00! I paid these guys for the same job and it was $432.00, big difference!Anywho, I will forever now take my car for whatever she needs done with these guys. Excellent work, customer service was fabulous and my car was do n e in a timely fashion. Nice to fine an honest mechanic these days!

This place is amazing. They addressed all my concerns and the communication was spot on.My favorite things were that the lobby was super clean, and the gentleman that helped me, Robert, was very professional. They did not attempt to sell me any additional services outside of work that needed to be done to address my immediate concerns. I will most definitely be back.Thanks Robert!

Shout out to all the hero s that work at Cornerstone Automotive!! I was at the bank next door and noticed that my battery light went on at my dash. Not knowing what to do I looked up and saw y all by the gas station. I pulled in went inside and got immediate help! An hour later I had a new alternator put in and a full battery charge! Y all were there for me when I needed it most and I commend your quick response, professionalism and knowledge of what to do for me!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Will definitely recommend y all and be coming there again for my vehicle needs!Service: Battery

I recently had my 2013 Audi A4 serviced at Cornerstone and was very satisfied with my experience. The service writer was professional, my car was very well taken care of, the free coffee was great, and the customer lobby was clean and comfortable.If I had a complaint, it is that if you are planning on working from the shop, there are no counters to work from and all the tables are low. I had to work with my computer on my lap while waiting for my car to be ready.Other than that, I was extremely happy with the service for my car and will definitely be back as needed.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my car to another shop and they told me I had nails in my tires that couldn't be removed and that I needed new rear shocks. Called Chris from Cornerstone to ask if I could bring it in for a second opinion. They had me in in just a few days and looked over my car and found that the nails hadn't even punctured my tires and my shocks weren't leaking a drop. I'm so thankful I brought my car out to Cornerstone--Chris and his team are honest guys seeking to serve the Lord and the community through good, honest work. Yesterday I stopped by Cornerstone Automotive to get a vehicle inspection for my annual registration. When I first stopped by I didn't know I had to have an appointment but everything ended up okay because I scheduled an appointment and return later in the day.I was helped by a service advisor named Travis and he was able to take my information and inspect my vehicle. He said it would be about 15 minutes but I believe I was out of there and about 10. He then directed me to HEB to pay for my sticker so I wouldn't have to mail in my payment or make a payment online and have my sticker the same day.Overall very impressed with the professionalism and the service I received from Cornerstone Automotive. Their location is very clean and female friendly, not like some other automotive places I've been to in the past. I would highly recommend calling Cornerstone Automotive for your vehicle maintenance needs. If you're wanting to skip the dealer for those high cost services head to Cornerstone Automotive on Highway 79.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Car/Truck Guys - This is a good shop to use.I had replaced all my front end suspension components myself, and just needed the truck re-aligned.I called and scheduled an appointment, made the drop off, and 4 hours later the truck was aligned. Complete with the alignment print out, and best of all no attempts at upselling, no condescending talks about fuel injection cleaning services etc.If you maintain your own vehicle and just need ancillary support from specialized equipment, this is definitely the place to go.Service: Wheel alignment

I wished there were more stars to give this business because they certainly deserve it. I needed some work on my vehicle and I didn't know who to trust so I contacted Cornerstone about the work. I am mechanically inclined but the work I needed done was above what I wanted to do. Chris was very kind and explained what they would do and the costs. I thought the price given was very good knowing what had to be done.On the drop off day, Travis was more than welcoming and got my vehicle done when he promised.They have my business from now on....go visit Cornerstone you wont be disappointed!

I ve used Cornerstone for a few vehicle inspections now and they are great! They re extremely helpful, kind, and efficient. Even though I only have used them for inspections, I can tell that they operate with high integrity by the way they speak to the other customers that have come through. Unfortunately, an auto shop with integrity is not the norm, but Chris and his team are the exception to that. I highly recommend Cornerstone Automotive.Service: Vehicle Inspection

Had my first visit to Cornerstone Automotive today and I can guarantee you it will not be my last! Owner, Chris, and service advisor, Travis, are beyond professional and made sure I felt welcome and cared for to the best of their abilities. The technician that worked on my vehicle, Caleb, was also nothing but professional and polite. All answers to questions I asked were given honestly and directly. These guys really make it a point to treat every customer as family! 5 stars just doesn t seem adequate for the services and care they provide to both customer and vehicle. Had a very positive experience. I called him to set an appointment and the person on staff was kind and responsive. I arrived early. They got me in early and got me out early. Very clean lobby very professional garage area. Overall a very positive experience would highly recommend this team to anyone looking for trust, worthy auto repair and services. I was having some weird behavior with my brakes and when I called in to ask about getting my looked at the people were extremely kind and helpful. After bringing my car in, their communication was excellent and actually really efficient. After the technician looked around, they posted pictures with comments on their recommendations to a link that they sent me over text and then added another link where I could check which actions I wanted them to do, so I felt like I was involved and I knew what to expect to be billed. They even included comments on parts that didn t need immediate attention but that should be on my radar for future visits, which I thought was really helpful. In the end, the price was really fair and I knew what they had changed exactly. I was expecting to pick up my car the next day but they had it ready really quickly so my experience was nice and quick!Services: Brakes, Oil change

Chris and team were excellent. I'd been experiencing an odd brakes issue with my Jeep and had even taken it to the local dealership to have things diagnosed/repaired but with no luck (and heavy expense). Long story short, Chris's team correctly diagnosed and fixed the issue in less time (and at a lower cost) than the dealership. I'd highly recommend Cornerstone - great people and great work!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes

This shop is terrific and honest!Our car needed repair as we were pulling into Round Rock on vacation. They happened to be about a mile from the resort we stayed at. They fixed the issue and had the car back to us in about 24 hours.The owner also drove us to the resort and picked us up from the resort once the car was fixed so we didn t have to call an Uber! Completely saved our vacation so we could relax and enjoy our time! Thank you so much for being an absolutely amazing company! We wish you all of the success in the world!Service: Exhaust

This shop is absolutely outstanding. Chris (Owner do the shop), clearly takes pride in the integrity of the work being completed here and folks that he employees.This has been my first experience with taking my car to a private shop outside of the dealership since purchased (5 years) and they exceeded all expectations.I also want to recognize Travis for making our appointments seamless, and his customer service was incredible.Please keep up the A1 work!

Cornerstone Automotive is a fantastic place to bring your car! I looked at multiple places around the Round Rock/Austin area to get my car fixed and nobody can compete with their prices and quality of work. Chris and his team were such a big help and they were very open and honest about the issues with my car. The mechanics were also amazing and they did everything that was needed in good time. Overall, this is one of the best automotive shops to take your car. They are up front, honest and NOT just in it to take your money. This company actually cares about their customers and will do whatever is possible to make sure you the customer are satisfied. The service at Cornerstone is fantastic! The guy at the desk, Travis, was super helpful and flexible. I explained that I was in a major time crunch to get all my vehicles registered. He helped explain some of my vehicle concerns and was able to do state testing on 2 vehicles and replace a worn tire within 24 hrs to get my truck to pass. He also did the tire replacement himself even though tires aren t typical at Cornerstone. Travis also allowed me to text him whenever I was on the way so I could jump off work calls to get it done. One of the best vehicle repair stops I ve had!Services: Tires, Auto emissions testing

Had a noise coming from front of Yukon. Took it to a quick lube place. They recommended $2K worth of repairs that might fix it. Went to cornerstone for second opinion. They let me know my transmission fluid was dirty but the noise was just bad tires. They drained transmission and refilled. I got new tires somewhere else and actually fixed the problem with their advice. I won t take my car anywhere else now.Service: Transmission
