I was looking for a shop with people you can trust and I have found that with this team. They have not only fixed big problems for me but also took the time to find other little things and just fixed them too along the way often for free because they are just good like that. I would not hesitate to let these guys work on your car whether a daily driver or a project car.

Robert the assistant manager came across as very genuine and not trying to have you get things replaced that were not needed. Also got my mud guard fixed which my service center denied. Thank you!

What a great team they had me in and out in a few hours. One of the best places for communication from start to finish. My brake job came with a nation wide warranty. The guys at Central Texas Auto Care were fantastic! I brought my car in with a leaking transmission pan and warped brakes and they fixed it in record time so I could get on with my move across country. The car runs great, and we made it safely! Love Love Love ... Literally the coolest bunch of guys i've come across.. Cody is just the sweetest kindest man ever . He listened to me talk and understood my situation . You can tell this man was raised right. I have had the most horrible experiences with mechanics in the past . So much so that just less than a week ago my car was literally beyond repair and I had to purchase a new vehicle . Cody made me feel comfortable and welcomed and went above and beyond to help me with my car today . He was open and honest and took the time to explain things to me . This guy knows his stuff and i'll always come back for as long as this guy works here .. my car didn't smell like cigarette smoke. I didn't have a oil all over the place. They were kind enough to put a paper mat on the floorboard and kept everything nice and clean . So glad I found him . I will forever ask him about my car before anyone else .Service: Electrical

Staff is always helpful! Nice to have an auto care business that clearly explains everything and also lets me know if something will need attention very soon. They never push to take care of all you auto needs at once which helps me plan expenses! Been coming here for over 12 years. Today had an inspection done for my car. Great service by Jeremy and Krystal, quoted me an hour, but got it done in 30 minutes! Answered a lot of my questions regarding car detailing, and maintenance.While I was there, I observed another customer do something a bit reckless and walk through the active car service area without permission. 9/10 times nothing likely will happen, however, car service shops are highly mechanical businesses, and people should not walk through the operating areas.Nonetheless, Krystal professional acknowledged the customer to please consider their own safety and go around. The customer may have taken that as a shot to their own ego, but she was not wrong to ask, and she did it politely.Keep up the good work, y'all!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection

I had Central Texas Auto Care take care of my yearly safety inspection. They were quite busy today, and in their communications with everyone waiting on service, I found them straightforward, transparent, fair, and efficient. I would go here again.

I took my mother's minivan in for an oil change. I received fast and friendly service. They not only changed the oil, they checked and cleaned the air filters and checked the brake pads. Krystal took the time to show me the vehicle maintenance record and let me know what other services the van needed in the very near future. She was able to give a price for the other services needed and I found them to be reasonable. I plan to take the van back to have the work completed. Krystal and her team are amazing. Can not say enough about the care and attention to detail Central Texas Auto Care gave us! We are more than pleased with everything we experienced from the initial diagnostic (complete vehicle assessment) to the completion of repairs and check-out. Cody and the rest of the crew there made us feel welcome and made sure we got what was needed for our 2012 Jeep Liberty. They gave us honest, concise recommendations and no pressure/upselling to do more than what was needed. Highly recommend!

Krystal, Cody, and Jeremy were all amazing! I've never had such great service with a smile. In the past places have taken advantage of me because I'm a woman, but this was not the case at Central TX Auto Care. They walked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable with the work being done. The crew at the Central Texas Auto Care accepted my vehicle, despite days of waiting at other shops and dealerships, and fixed my broken window in a day. They cared! And so swift, in this hot weather.My job requires I use my personal vehicle, so extra grateful for the quick turn around time!. Thank you CT Auto Care, for service worth a drive.

I used to pass up other shops to go to Central Texas Auto Care because of the excellent service they provided. That was far from the case last week when I went for an oil change. When I went to check in, I received very rude service - and watched the employee act the same to the two customers before me. Then, later that day my mother dropped off her car for an oil change and told me of her extremely poor interaction she had as well.THEN - I received a follow up text today asking if everything was ok with my service - to which I shared that the work was fine, but the customer service was horrible - and their response was to defend it.Did this place change ownership? To go from excellent to horrible in a fairly short period of time - and nowhere in between is crazy. And perhaps it was just one employee having a bad day - but until they are no longer working there - I will have to find somewhere else.Service: Oil change

Not a reliable mechanic. They seem over worked and make bad calls on what your needs are. Go somewhere else unless you know exactly what you need done and they provide a competitive price.

These guys are the best. I had a difficult time finding a reasonably-priced mechanic I can trust in the area that is until taking my car in for a few repairs at CATC. They fixed my A/C and Cody L did an excellent job repairing the front end which had been damaged for awhile. When I picked up my car, it looked and drove (almost) brand new, which is amazing for a 10-year old vehicle. They inspected it too, so they really did take care of everything I needed done. Took my grandmas van in to get her oil changed and windshield wipers changed, the team was very quick and very efficient. Krystal was absolutely amazing her and her team did an incredible job getting us in and out thank y all so much! Keep up the good work!

Krystal and Jeremy were awesome. Best customer service I've ever had and they did quality work for half the cost of taking it somewhere else. I would recommend anybody giving them a try. Krystal in the office is very knowledgeable and even helped me to understand some other things. Great job ya'll

Keep calling around to other shops. Central Texas Auto will overcharge you and possibly miss basic things in diagnostic inspection.My experience was with the assistant manager....I brought my van in for diagnostics and was told I needed new front brakes/rotors and a valve cover gasket for an estimate total of $2785.75. I was told my brake pads had 1 mm left on them and I was in danger of my brakes siezing.I knew that the total for brakes with a flush was high ($1998.41), so, I asked her about the price and she told me "It's what it costs" and that she would give me 20% off of any lower quote I brought in on paper "that's how we do business" she said. She made me feel guilty for questioning the price and acted as if I truly offended her.I brought my van to another shop for inspection and their estimate/final price was $913.79 for brakes/rotors and flush. The 2nd shop showed me my brake pads which I measured myself and had about 3 mm left. The 2nd shop also told me my ball joints are going and need replacement asap (Central Texas Auto didn't mention that).I returned to Central Texas auto with my paper estimate and diagnostics from the other place and spoke to the assistant manager again. I asked about my ball joints and she said didn't know if they were good or bad.... And when I asked about honoring the other quote she said she had to speak to her manager.They refused to honor 20% off the estimate from another shop. I asked if they would match the estimate and they told me the best price they could do was $1200 and recommended I returned to the other place. When asked why they couldn't do it they said they had a 3 year warranty on the brakes so they were more expensive, the place I took it to had a lifetime warranty!Problems I see with Central Texas Auto:1. They were willing to charge $1900+ but lowered the bill to $1200 when I had comparison price. The "it costs what it costs," statement is nonsense.2. They didn't know if my ball joints were in good or bad shape after 2.5 hours of diagnostics.3. I was lied to about how much brake pad I had left, so I felt pressured into replacing them immediately (thank God I didn't!)4. The assistant manager had no authority to tell me she could give a discount but chose to do so.Side note: my estimate for my valve cover gasket from Central Texas Auto was $787.34...I was able to have done at another shop for $350 out the door.I ended up getting my ball joints, brakes/rotors, and valve cover gasket done for almost $1000 less than what Central Texas Auto told me for doing just the brakes and gasket.Tip: I went to Villa Auto repair for my joints & gasket and Brake Check for brakes.

New favorite place for inspection. They were busy but squeezed me in and gave an honest wait time estimate (and they got to me quicker than anticipated!). I ended up having a brake issue that needed to be addressed before my vehicle could pass so they made time to look at that for me and get it taken care of.Super nice, fast, and honest. We love to bring our cars here. We trust the people who run this place to give us good service at a good price and not try to milk us. However, you might get someone to change your digital sign. CHAMG R cracks my kid up everytime I take them to school each morning.

That time of year where I needed to have my vehicle inspection done. Jiffy lube didn't have any inspectors so I went on down to Central Texas Auto Care. In and out in less than an hour. Clerk was very pleasant. Appreciated the fast service on a 1hr lunch break.

The crew at Central Texas Auto Care are incredible. I have four vehicles and they are my go to for all of them. Cody, Donnie and the guys are thorough to inspect everything, are up front about what needs to be done, honest in their pricing and can be trusted to do the work right. They do excellent work and have gotten my autos repaired and back to me quickly. I will always go these guys first with any auto needs. I have recently went to have repairs done on my Mazda. I have been very happy with the work done. The mechanic spoke to me and explained the issues. That way I understood what was wrong. The front desk was professional and clearly told me my options. I would definitely go back to them.
