I loved how thorough the shop was. I brought it in for my original concern (which they diagnosed) but mentioned some other issues. They told me it was not urgent to address the other issues but that they are coming up soon. I appreciated that they didn't tell me I had to fix everything immediately.Mike, at the desk, is amazing. Super friendly and awesome!I recommended the shop to my neighbor (who also had a great experience) and highly recommend it to everyone else.

These guys are the best bottom line. Most pleasurable customer service I ve ever experienced. They have gone above and beyond to work with me in Servicing my 2014 Ram 1500 and helping me tremendously in getting my 2005 WRX on the road. Top notch technicians that can practically work on anything! They even have an amazing shuttle service that you don t really hear of. Thanks again guys. Prompt explanation of proposed work needed, good communication with the service manager and fair cost for the repairs and maintenance. The work is done well and they never try to push unnecessary additional work. The shop also provides a convenient shuttle service. I ve used Automotive Specialist over 15 years for all our vehicles.

I had to replace most of the exhaust system on my older vehicle. I visited two other shops before I found Mike with Automotive Specialists. He was straightforward, truthful, fair, and very thorough. I cannot recommend this shop enough, especially for older, classic, or harder repairs. Thanks again for all the great work!

This is one of the best auto mechanic shops in Austin. They are honest and reasonably priced. They identify problems and some that can wait. I like that honesty. Ray has been helping me with three cars for the last 12 years. My Check Engine light came on while I was driving. My normal auto shop was booked up for the whole week. I saw a post on People of Round Rock about the best automobile mechanics and Auto-Spec was the outstanding favorite. I called Auto-Spec and was able to bring in my car for a diagnostic test the same day. Communication was great along the way, and I was able to drop off and pick up my car the same day with the automotive work complete.

Shout out to Mike and Auto Spec Round Rock! They have done a great job in the past of installing aftermarket performance parts on my beloved sports car. Unfortunately in mid April I was involved in an accident and a national brand collision center could not figure out why my right wheel was rubbing after their repair. 3.5 months later the collision center finally took it to Auto Spec and Mike made it a priority to address the problem and get my car back on the road. A million thanks to Mike!!!

I give you 5 stars for being fast on diagnostics and courteous, however, overall 1 star. Yall came highly recommended by 2 long time customers and an old friend of John's. I was told yall were honest and fair. I was extremely disappointed when quoted almost what the dealership would charge to repair my car. Especially when 2 other local shops quoted me HALF of what you did! Price gouging is the way to lose a lot of business, and I will be taking mine elsewhere for this repair and any future repairs.

We have been working with Auto Specialists to replace our Ford F-150 dashboard that the emergency brake light kept staying on. They searched far and wide twice and those too ended up doing the same thing. We needed to try another time to find the needed dash but due to circumstances beyond our control we were unable to get in for quite awhile. They went above and beyond to help us and we are beyond thankful for Mike and Ray and their staff!

Auto Spec in round rock is absolutely the best and most honest mechanic shop that I have ever known. Been using them since I moved to Texas 6 yrs ago. I no longer live right around the corner but still make the trip(and pass 500 auto shops on the way) to see them when I need repairs. They have drummed up a lot of business and loyal customers like me over the years so be prepared to wait your turn in line. I don t take my car anywhere else unless I m traveling and absolutely have to !Service: General repairs & maintenance

I needed a second opinion for a problem I believed was caused by the dealership s service. Ray accepted the challenge, was timely with information, and told me exactly what I needed to know. (The dealership was responsible!) For any future service in my car, I will definitely return to Auto-Spec!

These guys are amazing, I've been taking all my cars to them for years. Now I drive a Tesla Model 3 and I still take my vehicle here for yearly inspections. It was crazy fast! They are the best. They are always busy which shows how good they are so make sure to make an appointment first and be early to find a parking spot.

First time to use them. A good friend knows the owner and has deep respect for his business and this ethics. Brought 2018 Macan GTS for 50K reg service and a break job.Staff was very responsible. For years I have used Automotive Specialist. They are honest, pretty quick with repairs and at a fair cost to do the work. I have been at other shops that tell me I need lots of work, but come here and it s usually a simple fix at a much lower cost because it s not multiple items being replaced. My clutch gave out and my friend recommended this shop. They were awesome! Mike explained what was wrong, what my options were and answered all my questions. He was patient, clear about costs, needed parts, and set clear timeline expectations. Excellent communication and they even have a shuttle that picked me up when my car was ready. We were down to one vehicle and my fianc� took her car in to get checked out. Mike found an issue, explained the situation and got it back on the road. They even picked her up to get the vehicle when I got stuck at work! Great service by great people!
