First time I've changed parts on my own instead of having it done as part of general maintenance in a shop. The clerk mocks me for forgetting there's two sizes of windshield wipers and selects the wrong type of headlights.

Came here on a Sunday to buy a few things for my car oil change and up on walking in i was greeted by a jentleman doing shelve stock , Its great to walk into a business stablishment and get greeted anyways was helped out by another employee at counter also very great attitude and less than 10 minutes i was back on the road will definitely come back here if i need anything else in the future i give this place a thumbs up Thanks Y'all for the great service.

I give a two only because this location was clean and the shelves were faced with product. The staff here seemed like they simply didn't want to be bothered. There is a chime on the door that would alert them to the presence of a customer, but after browsing and getting items I was simply ignored while two staff members had an extensive conversation. Even after attempting to get their attention, another staff member was called to come check me out. I waited a good ten minutes before the other guy was called. Seems like this location gets very little traffic.

I came in with my wife's dead battery and there was one guy behind the counter about my age (mid 30s-ish) and two older employees just watching him work essentially. But this guy was handling business. Addressing concerns, was very informative to everyone and maintained a friendly, welcoming attitude all while juggling at least 4 different customers needs including my own. Testing my battery, checking out another customer, pulling up my replacement, helping the next customer, and getting my new battery and all the recommended accessories for the battery. Man was killing it. Dunno what the other two old timers were there for tho. Just decoration I guess.

Kelly is the best commercial manager I have ever worked with. She s always answering the phone and you can hear her smile her smile. I have worked with three different commercial managers and she has the best service. Her crew is great and get parts here on time with no excuses.

They would not honor a warranty on a battery they that they alone sell just because we didn't have the phone number that was used to purchase it originally 2 years ago. Bad business. Not worth it to get a warranty when they won't honor it.

My car battery died and had other issues with the terminals. Bryan was very helpful and took his time to help me find the right parts and get a battery replacement. He did a great job.

Had paid an alternator in full to be ordered. Because they didn't have it in stock. My wife had went there after her work to pick up but the part was totally wrong. Was told to come back tomorrow and talk to the person who had originally assisted me for a refund. Like come on she had a receipt coming from that store.

I went to this place couple of times. All of their staff and their services were excellent and highly professional. I like the way they guide their customers with their skills and experiences. Highly recommended auto shop around the town.

Zero stars the bold guy at front desk is not friendly bad attitude and nobody have an idea about customer service I was there to buy and deserve respect close this business is not doing anything here

Battery died in my driveway. I was able to get a jump start and made it to Advance Auto Parts 10 minutes until their closing. I was going to walk out when the gentleman behind the counter ( I wish I would have gotten his name) told me that he can sell me a battery and installed it. Excellent, Excellent Customer Service!

Just had a terrible experience with the store manager i believe his name is Larry. I would understand being treated this way if i was rude or nasty but i was polite and just asking a question about my situation. I went in to request a battery and engine light check..The whole time i was trying to explain my situation, he kept cutting me off and was very unnecessarily rude. I asked was he the manager and responded with a snarky/oh well attitude. When i said thats ok i wont get the check engine..He stated he wasnt going to send his guy out anyway if the check engine light wasn't on...Which is fine and i get stores can get busy and you not want hear a persons reason or situation as to what they think is going on with their vehicle but its no need treat people like they dont matter and act like you dont want to help them..i dont expect to have an employee jump through hoops or care but i mean seriously just simply human decency to a customer.. ALL customers would have been nice. As a manager fellow manger Larry..thats not how you treat your customers..And if i was a disrespectful customer..which i was NOT...its your job to de-escalate not be the cause of unjust mistreatment.

My son left his wallet on the counter when he paid. Walked out and came back in not even 10 min later. No other customers. Only 2 employees. Guess what they did not see or find anything? Ok let s check the cameras. I was told they did not have any cameras at all, which was hard to believe. Call the next day and spoke to a Manager and yes they do have cameras but was told that they do not work . They said it was only for show! So please feel free to rob or steal from here because there no CAMERAS . One day they don t have ANY CAMERAS, then less then 12 hours later they do have some cameras?

They have a bigger selection than other local parts stores, and better quality parts that actually last. Even the store brand stuff can be pretty good unlike some other store chains. They have some larger parts and rental tools that most stores in Austin tend to not carry on hand so that's also really convenient.

They have stuff that I needed for car washing such as wax n etc that couldn't be found beside Amazon. Even though they had an issue with my online order they got it in the same day and not much time I had to wait. My job use them for commercial and I gave them a try a few months ago and I appreciate what they do for me as a consumer.

Decent customer service but they REALLY need to work on greeting people when they're waiting at the register. Both times I was there I had THREE men look at me and then keep walking. No "have you been helped?" Or "we will be right with you". Not cool. Once they did speak, they were very nice.

Came in after having to get a jump off and on all week. Robert was very helpful. He took the battery out of my Jeep and charged it while I waited. He also let me know that there's no guarantee on how long my battery will last and suggested that I put some cash into my savings so that I can replace my old battery with a good quality new one. He was very helpful. I've had experiences with auto stores where I have been pressured into making purchases because of my lack of knowledge, but he was very sincere. I appreciate the great service!!

On Saturday August 19th, 2022 I went to Advanced Auto parts around 7pm to get error codes checked on my 2006 Prius. I walk in the store, ask for help, and Im told by a man that help is not possible because they have a new system or something. A woman then asks what engine size I have, I tell her "1.8 liter", and she tells me they cant help me.I've been getting error codes checked out at car repair stores for 20+ years and this was the worst experience yet. I want an explanation for why I was treated dismissively and with such gross incompetence.

Great manager (Daniel) @ Mays location and patient sales associates!! Had a few discrepancies with pricing but the manager worked it out. His customer service was about the long game and not the short, great job!

Won't be returning to this auto parts store. Warning!!! Check the parts warranty and ask specific questions about it before buying. It is NOT a lifetime warranty. They play word games and think that people are dumb. Their own employees even think the warranty is rigged. Go to Autozone for better part warranties and customer service.

When I went in for a battery I asked them to test it I have worked in a shop before and I can tell you from experience this guy had no idea or cared about what he was doing maybe it was because it was late or something but still said their must be a short or something so I can t do it .I said ok and left went down to good old o'reilly's auto parts not only was the battery cheaper but the guy actually tested everything and yeah it s your battery man .thank god for honest working people never go to this place because it seems like they have no idea what they are doing

Stopped at the convenience store across the street from this location, and when I got back in the car, it wouldn't start. So, I went over to Advance Auto Parts. Ramon S. went above and beyond to help me. He walked over to my car, tested the battery, confirmed it was dead, sold me a new, and installed it in less than 30 minutes. This was around 5pm, so it was pretty hot outside. He provided great service, and I'll shop there again as a result of this experience.

I wouldn t have my worst enemy pull into this parking lot. There s a huge drain with no warning sign that will rip your bumper off if you re in a car. Didn t even go in after that. Avoid at all costs.

I recently moved to a different part of Round Rock so this location is now my preferred one. This was only my fourth time in this store, but my feeling so far is that the staff is supremely helpful and knowledgeable about everything I've had questions about so far. Another well-managed Advance Auto!

Needed a new battery, checked online then headed instore. Excellent service and free install much appreciated. Staff were friendly and I ll drive further to support that kind of service.

Worst business ethic. Walked in to buy an AC recharge kit only to find out I didn't need it 10 minutes later tried to return it and because I paid cash and wasn't handed a receipt they could only offer store credit and have no competent way of looking up a previous transaction buyer beware you probably won't be able to return it

Wouldn't even take a return of some lightbulbs I had bought the very night before, with a receipt and in the original packaging, my dad is a manager at autozone and my brother at o'reilly's auto parts, what a shame!!
