Robert is awesome. Super informative every step of the way, helped me source parts to find the best deal. Did a great job building a custom hose system and made it look amazing! Also humble enough to refer me to another shop for a compressor rebuild that was out of his wheelhouse.Call ahead and he's super flexible on scheduling too.

Fixed the A/C on my older Lexus hybrid when other shops wouldn't even touch it. Very reasonable and honest price as well. The only place I'll recommend for A/C repairs

My wife had a job interview at Ac Authority and was treated ugly by Sandy. Not sure what her position is but she says she tries to respectfully run the business. My wife decided not to stay for the interview and left bcuz of Sandys behavior. I was annoyed and decided to call Sandy and ask why she treated my wife that way. She then says she talked to no woman this morning and then starts raising her voice and I do the same then she hangs up. I call back and she then tells me she talked to my wife and says she left. So she lied about it! Why? I asked why lie about it and then hangs up! Really annoyed about being lied to and then hanging up twice on me I decided to call back and a guy answers and he tells me I need to go talk to him and I can tell in his voice he didnt mean talk. I asked him if he was the one being rude to my wife and says no. So I tell him you have nothing to say to me. We're back and forth he then tells me again to go talk to him and calls me a M****R F****R and that this was my last chance! He said it was my last chance and will call the cops on me for threatening him then hung up. He didnt know I have a recording conversation app on my phone but before he hung up I told him he was being recorded. So minutes later I get a call from an officer asking what happened so I tell him. He then tells me he just wanted to hear my side, it probably wont be anything but to hang on to the recorded conversation. So I was lied to a few times and they lied to an officer that I threatened him. Sandy talked to my wife last night and then was rude to her this morning! Dont understand that! My wife got to the interview 10mins early. Was that why she was rude to her? The whole time she was rude to my wife she thought my wife was a customer! Disgusting!!!

I cannot say enough great things about the guys at AC Authority. From the very beginning they worked hard to get our broken AC fixed in record time. They worked around our busy schedule and even offered to pick up the car. They were faster with repairs than we could have ever expected. Thanks to them we have AC for the hot Texas summer. I'm only giving one star because the staff was nice. I took my car to A C Authority to have my A/C checked. I was told I needed to replace the compressor and the A/C condenser ,which in total would cost me $1554. Because of the outrageous amount, I took my car to another shop for a diagnostic. The shop informed me the compressor did not need to be replaced, just the relay part. In total, $169. A big difference from $1554. As a reviewer said, they seem honest ,but will try to bait you. I do not recommend this place.

I called them last minute to get my car s ac checked out. They accepted my business last minute. Even though it was late in the day. They went out of their way to help me out. Extremely grateful for them and their help!!Service: Air conditioningService: Air conditioning

I showed up without an appointment, they checked out my car for free. I thought it needed a major repair. Robert was extremely knowledgeable as he knew a common a/cproblem with my make and model my mechanic couldnt figure out. Super inexpensive repair, I was back on the road in an hour or so. Still blowing ice cold air, good guys!Service: A/C system repair

I have been driving my car around the Austin area since February without A/C. I just couldn't take it anymore, so I decided to bite the bullet and take it in to a mechanic with the hope it would't break my bank.From the first phone call to my appointment, it was all very easy and pleasant. There was no up front cost for them to look at it and he didn't charge for "plugging" the a/c back into working order. He even secured it so it didn't come undone again.I've only taken this car to one other mechanic over the last 2 years who charged me $150 just to look at it each time... and EVERYTHING was charged out. It feels REALLY GOOD to find a business you can trust.I will definitely be taking my 'ol girl back there for all her maintenance needs. I'm so glad I found you guys.Roni B.

The owner, Robert, is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He fixed my car's AC blower motor and electrical controls in less than 2 days. Very pleased with the service I received here.

Robert has been fixing our family's AC's for years and just gave us working AC in my Pilot in time for the Texas summer. Replaced the compressor for a fair price, and within just a few days.

Robert has always been a helping hand for over 30 years for me. Back when I was a younger whipper snapper he would always share his knowledge with me. For that I m very thankful. You just don t find people willing to help people often. If you need AC work. Give him a call. He is also pretty capable of things he doesn t lost. So dint hesitate to ask. Thanks for shaping this young buck. We appreciate you, sir.

Went in to get info on my AC system. Was told the 134a conversion was already done & was low. After looking for the leak, the guy topped off the system, even after I told him I had no $$ till next week.Honest business. Professional with character.A/C Authority in Round Rock has a customer in me for as long as they're in business.Thank you.Brad Hunt

Went there when car started making loud noise when i turned the ac on. The guy was nice and helped diagnose exactly what the problem was but while he waa in his office making up the quote for me i looked up the replacement job on youtube. He came back offering $250+ for parts and $187 for labor and said it would be a 2 hour job. I took the quote and left, i boufht the part on amazon for $66 with a $6 dollar 3 year warranty and replaced it myself in 10 minuets....

Had them work on 2 of our cars back around 2011/2012. Honest, straight up guys that fixed our car ACs for a fair price and did it quickly. We have recommended them to many friends and family since then.

I have finally found a trust worthy repair shop! I had taken my 2007 Ford F150 pickup truck to four different shops because it had a check engine light on and failed emissions testing. The first shop replaced the oxygen sensors and assured me that the problem was solved. I was driving to the inspection place when the light came back on. I went to another shop and they replaced the temperature sensor. Again I was promised the problem was solved. The light came right back on.The third shop replaced two fuel injectors and cleaned the valve body. Again the light came right back on. The fourth shop told me I needed to replace a throttle position switch? I think you probably know by now the light came back on.Each time I went back to the four shops they all wanted to charge me again to diagnose the light problem even though I had already paid them and they failed to fix it. Their diagnostic prices ranged from 95 to 125 dollars. I refused to pay again and left. I will never go back to any of those shops.A friend told me about Robert More at A/C Authority, and said they are a reputable shop and have always fixed his car the first go around.I called Robert for an appointment and he told me I could come in anytime, no appointment needed!When I got there I was really surprised and impressed with the professionalism of the staff. The shop was the cleanest I have seen in a long time, (hey, it's an auto repair shop, not a dentists office).They have a large waiting room, big screen TV and free wifi.I asked Robert how much it was going to cost to have my truck's engine light code checked out and he told me he wouldn't charge me anything for the computer scan. Are you kidding me I said? I have already spent four hundred dollars having the other shops "diagnose" my truck, not to mention what I paid for parts and labor for the un-needed repairs.The service manger Paul pulled my truck into the shop and came back a few minutes later and told me the computer had an emissions code that showed some kind of leak. He said it was really a common problem with Fords and told me to replace the fuel cap. What? They called the parts place and had one delivered and installed on my truck within about 20 minutes.The whole thing took less than a half hour and cost me about 20 bucks for a fuel cap.That was just before summer and about 7 months ago. The truck passed emissins testing and the light has not come back on!I'm sold on the guys at A/C Authority and will bring my cars to them from now on. They are by far the best shop I have ever been to. Happy happy joy joy!

Been there twice, first time work was good and second time neither work nor price was right. Ultimately very sketched out by these guys. They seem honest when you talk to them then they try to bait and switch on the price and charge you for labor not performed. Would not recommend. Not going back.

Regardless of what the issue may be, they'll get it figured out. Most of the shops I talked to wouldn't mess with these AC systems, but Robert and then took it on for the vehicles we have and got the job done. Robert, I appreciate the help and technical knowledge that you and your staff possess.

I called them to inquired my car Air Conditioner repair. The lady said that someone will get back to me. I waited till the end of the day but no one has gotten back to me. I guess they don't need anymore customer.

Kind of a mom and pop operation. Very disorganised. I wad forgotten about in the lobby several times before i got my quote. Nice people but unorganized.
