Took my 99 s10 due to engine code coming from transmission solenoids needing replacement talked with the owner and Dylan took care of everything for me and got me back up and running quickly. Brought truck in @ 830am and Dyaln had it done @ 400pm highly recommended Sterling Transmission..

Had my transmission done on my 11th generation Tahoe a year ago total rebuild mechanic was very informative and professional. He showed me some of the parts he replaced. I paid $7000 For the transmission rebuild with up graded billet parts said the mechanic. it came with a two-year 24,000 mile warranty you ll definitely hit the 24,000 miles first before the two years I plan on taking it back to get the oil change in the transmission before the warranties up

Amazing service!!! I received a very detail consultation on what needs to be done to repair my Ford Focus transmission issue. The shop owner spent his time to explain me in detail what needs to be done, he even called his other customer to confirm because the other customer had the same issue. i want to emphasize the the owner did not have to do all that! I highly recommend Sterling Transmission Center to everyone! Your expectations will be exceeded!

On 10-15-2020, I was traveling back from Houston to my home which is 300 miles away, when my transmission stopped working. I broke down on Expressway 59 and Spur 10. Luckily for me I googled transmission repair shops and saw that Sterling Transmission Center had a 5 star rating. I choose them and had a wrecker take my car to their garage. Ronnie and his son in law were able to repair my car that same day and get me back on the road. I had no issues driving back home and I am very grateful that I took my car to Ronnie's shop. He is very honest business man and great person. I highly recommend Sterling Transmission Center.Service: Transmission

I wish I would've found Sterling Transmission sooner! After having my transmission rebuilt by another shop in the area, it went out on me shortly after a year of having it rebuilt. The warranty was only 12 months / 12,000 miles. When asking some of my friends who they recommend for transmissions, Ron came highly recommended from several people! I called Ron and he took the time to go over what all he was gonna do to rebuild the transmission for my truck. He also explained to me that his work carried a 24 month / 24,000 mile warranty. I took my truck to Ron to let him rebuild my transmission. When I got it back from the shop, I couldn't believe how big of a difference I felt, way better than the other place I had taken to. I had an issue a few months later and Ron quickly without hesitation took care of it. If you are looking for an HONEST transmission repair shop, look no further than Sterling Transmission. I highly recommend them. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and honest work done at Sterling transmission. Thanks Ron! I hope i don't have to get another transmission rebuilt, but if I do, I know where to go for now on!

This place is just awesome they are honest hard working people that love there job. I got my Dodge Ram 3500 towed over there on a Tuesday night and I had no idea what it could have been. I was thinking it was the transmission but Ron and Dylan went through it Wednesday morning and it was the transfer case they explained to me everything that was going to be done and needed. They got the job done faster then expected and it was back on the road Thursday afternoon for a very affordable price. I really wish I could give them 10 stars. I highly recommended this place, they are the real expert's!!!Service: Transmission

It was a pleasure meeting Ron, very nice, service was excellent and I highly recommend him. Ron tested my 2006 Ford Taurus but did not find any transmission issues. He was very informative. Ron had his technician check my transmission fluid, it was low, so his technician added some fluid. Also, Ron found two fault codes which requires service by another mechanic. I asked for a recommendation, he gave me the names of two mechanics who would do a good job and said to let them know that he referred me.

Went to Sterling transmission who was highly recommended for his quality of work and I now I understand why. Had my transmission fixed in my Chevy impala and the car was working great. Unfortunately the car had other issues and Ron was more than willing to help me fix the other issues with no hesitate. Wouldn't take it anywhere else.

I ve known Ron at sterling trans. for years and from day one on the first transmission he rebuilt for me he was meticulous in his work and his attention to detail. All my transmissions have been on high powered built diesels and have never let me down no matter what I throw at them. I ll only take my vehicles and family s to Ron. The guy is a blessing in disguise, outstanding shop which is rare now days.

I've known Ron for 23 years and never have I met a more upstanding person than him. Since day 1 I've taken every vehicle to him and have always received the best possible service, reasonable prices, and vehicles running like brand new when he's through with them. I recommend this business to anyone and everyone; he's the only one to trust when it comes to vehicles. Give him a call.

I have a 700R4 Chevy transmission. I had taken it to a transmission shop in Columbus Texas 5 times spent I don t know how much money. I finally brought it to Ron. He fixed it the first time. Found the problem the other shop could not find. As far as I am concerned Ron is a transmission god. I have not had problems with this transmission since he fixed it and I race this car. I have referred 25 or more of my friends to him and every one has been happy with their service. I WON T TAKE A TRANSMISSION ANY WHERE ELSE!!!!

Im very pleased to leave this review due to the awesome job and honesty from Ron. I took my 2005 Ford f150 to Ron because the transmission failed on me. I was worried i was going to have to pay alot of money to fix it bur as he told me, i was one of the lucky ones. Turns out it was something not that bad. What my review is for its his honesty. He could have easily lied to me about the problem to make more money but he was honest from the start. I really appreciate the fact that he was honest and not only that, he fixed my truck the same day. Thank you so much for the work and the honesty. I highly recommend you taking your vehicle to him if you have transmission problems. Im sure he will be as honest to you as he was with me and will do a great job fixing your vehicle. Once again thank you very much for your help. Rest assured this is the place i will be going back to if i ever need transmission work on my vehicles.

I meet Ron 13 years ago he rebuilt my 88 4x4 chevy suburbans 700r4 transmission.I never had any trouble with it after he fixed it. It s still running strong after all these years I ve recommended family and friends to him and he has taking good care of them he s as honest as they come.

I had what was believed to be a simple problem that turned into a rare problem. Ron never gave up and got everything fixed without breaking my pocketbook. He has gone above and beyond any expectations I've had. The prices are fair and honest and he stands behind his work 110%. This experience has been stressful at times but I am a forever customer. Having a trustworthy mechanic is worth my hour drive and I would gladly make the drive even if I was further.

I love Ole Betsy, my 06 Chev Impala with 243K cuz she still runs almost as good as when I bought her new. I was really worried today cuz she started leaking trans fluid like rain. I didn't know what to do, but I saw all the great reviews on Sterling Transmission Center so I decided, wud ya believe at 4pm, to stop by and see if they cud help me. My timing was real lucky, and feel like I hit the Lotto, cuz within 30 min, Ron and his awesome mechanic found the leak was a lil O ring popped in the oil cooler, fixed it and got me burning gas again. Ron made me such a good deal, I tipped him 40 Buck$. I highly recommend Sterling to service all your transmission needs. Guess my transmission Angel was looking out for me today. Thanks guys, and Merry Christmas. :)

My dad had me write this review, He has a Black 1996 Impala ss (his baby) that loss the 3rd gear Mr.Ron helped him with the warranty on the Transmission. Customer service is 5 star!!!

Best transmission place in town. He does very good work and makes sure you are satisfied with his work. 100% stands behind his warranty. We are completely satisfied with the work he's done on our Suburban. If you ever need work done on your transmission give him a shot. You won't be disappointed.

6.7 Cummins full delete running 22 wheels with 35x12.50. Ron Built me a beast of a 68RFE with lowered stall full billet TC. Ron knows his stuff and sticks with it until you re happy. This truck pulls so freaking hard now. I ve put the first 2,000 miles on this transmission in a week been pulling 15,000 lbs all day hasn t been above 170 degrees. Thanks Ron!

I brought in the original transmission from my 1988 s10 and they rebuilt it fast in about a week, I put it back in the truck and brought the truck to Ron and he adjust the kickdown cable for me at no charge. Good prices and honest people.

I brought my 2007 Checorlet transmission he drove the vehicle with a scan tool conneted. There are no codes present the problem appeared to be mechanical or a hydrilic internal failure he explained to me in great detail by the symptoms he noticed exact what was going wrong he removed it took it apart and showed me exactly what he said he would find . He did the overhaul and update's a Heavy Duty style torque converter. It performs better than it's ever have. HE CAN HIGHLY RECOMENDER AND WOULD FEEL Confident I'm trfering and person the the experts at sterling transmission of Rosenberg.

The only place we will take our transmissions to. 2001 Z71 4wd and a 2000 Suburban 4wd. both rebuilt and running great. everyone we have referred to Strerling Transmissions has been taken care of with honesty and great prices.
