Excellent service, very reasonable priced. I am beyond happy with the service I got at Shipley Automotive. I scheduled an appointment for my oil change online. A couple of days before my appointment I received a text to remind me of my appointment. When I brought my car in I was taken care of in a very timely manner. I feel they did the most thorough inspection of my vehicle, pictures included, that I've ever had. This was the first time didn't go to the dealer and I believe that Shipley Automotive did a far superior job than the dealer ever has. John took the time to call someone who specializes in Jeeps to look at something he was concerned about and he explained to me in great detail what his concern was. In the end everything was fine. I greatly appreciate the fact that he answered all of my questions was very professional and took his time with me. I have never felt this comfortable having work done on my car. Extremely good experience. Thorough, helpful & very reasonably priced, especially for a European mechanic shop. This is not an "insert new part here" technician. John is an actual highly skilled mechanic with years of experience working on BMW & Mini. He's also willing to discuss his diagnosis with his customer, & explain things, without "talking down" to them. There's several Euro shops in town, but I highly recommend Shipley. Very knowledgeable and was able to find the issue with my car within two days. Previous garage had it for 5+ months without being able to sort it out. Will 100% be bringing my car back when we are able to make the repairs necessary

John was awesome to work with. He replaced rod bearings on my 08 M3 and I m very happy with the service. I was worried to have any shop do this install but John is BMW certified and was recommended to me by a friend.He explains things clearly and cares about the customer. I highly recommend his service to anyone.

Had an extremely satisfactory experience, from all of my concerns being listened to intently on the first call (I have found this difficult to find among other shops!) Also, in giving a proper, accurate, and completely thorough diagnosis, then repairing everything in a timely manner with more than fair pricing. Does not try to sell something you don't need. Answers all questions and explains everything found in diagnosis. Excellent communication. I have found my go-to shop and will be referring others. My little 2008 Buick is running smoothly FINALLY after many treacherous visits to other mechanics that did not address my concerns properly and were overcharging. My worries have been relieved!!!

John has literally been the best mechanic I ve had in years. He s professional and friendly and explains things in detail and treats you with care and best of all he s always had my vehicles ready in a timely manner. He s even stayed open a bit later so I could pick up my vehicle dealing with Houston traffic.I believe I found my forever euro tech and can t wait to give him more years of service. I highly recommend him to anyone needing any work done big or small.

Shipley Automotive is always amazing!! Has been my go to, for everything auto, for at least 4 years. Friendly, Fair, Knowledgable, Great Service, and Personable. Highly recommended and 5 stars isn t enough, should be 10.

I took my car in on Friday and John worked on my car and got it out Saturday, very courteous and fast service. I was pleased with his work and the service and knowledge he has given, I'll definitely return to him in the future.

I highly recommend Shipley Automotive. John Shipley has taken great care of my F250. He is honest, knowledgeable, fair, and helpful. He even helped when we had an outlet duct blow while out of town. He talked me through everything over the phone and got us back up and running remotely. This place is great, kept me updated with the status of the repairs to my vehicle and properly diagnosed the issue with my car. I first took my car to a different shop and that cost me right at $500 for nothing because they had me purchase a part that didn t solve my problem. I dealt with John at Shipley Automotive and they took care of everything in a very timely manner. Oh and this car of mine is a Volkswagen which most shops won t touch, so I definitely recommend them and I will use again in the future.

Shipley Automotive is the one mechanich I really trust. They provide qualify of work at a very reasonable price. The best part, is they don't try to sell you a service you don't need.

John's done a lot of work to my turbo swap fiesta st. From a clutch job, to pulling the transmission multiple times, coil overs, brakes, spark plugs, and general trouble shooting.John also got me back on the road after I blew my 1st motor and brought new life to my car. He got me back to playing with 392sDude will work odd hours and go out of his way to do the job. He is almost a one man operation, which, leads to timing issues, which, is something I'm understanding of. In these events John has always gone above and beyond for customer satisfaction.His personality and his knowledge bring me back. I spoke this John describing the problems I was experiencing with my truck.He drove it and told me what needed to be done. We scheduled a time to do the work.John returned my truck the same day. John is a terrific at diagnostics, will not "fix" what does not need fixing, explains everything so you can understand it and is easy going. John was courteous and fixed my X5 in the amount of time he promised. I appreciated his honesty in letting me know there were parts that didn t need replacing (as opposed to the dealer). John gave my family some great advice on our Ford car. I believe John's a hard working and honest person. I have known John for many years, and I believe John is the type of person you can trust with your vehicle. John's BMW credentials are some of the best available in the automotive industry. People should not blame John for other automotive shops' failures and non-oem products, and people should not assume John made a complex technical mistake when he is highly educated and BMW approved. I would trust my vehicles with John anytime including very expensive cars.If I was going to get some major automotive work done on something like BMW M series, Mercedes AMG series, etc, John is who I would want to talk with ASAP. The guy's highly trustworthy. Note: There maybe many strange people in the world who maybe willing to socially attack people, and I suggest people ignore any weird reviews that attack John.

John is not only a very skilled automotive professional, he's honest! An anomaly in this industry. And, greatly appreciated by my 04 Toyota & our family. He's always my recommendation to friends or anyone with mechanical problems.
