Really nice folks, great communication, by bill actually came in under the original estimate. How often does that happen? Nice clean shop right on HWY 35. I'd go back to them in a heartbeat. I'm glad I had them perform the work on our 2009 Ford E350 Van. Thanks Lots! Part #2 . On a trip to Padre Island Seashore our U-Joint went bad. We re supposed to drive back to Kentucky tomorrow morning. I called Jeff and he squeezed me in at the last minute. He dropped the driveshaft and installed the new part within hour. Him and his wife are as good as they come. It s a great place to get your car serviced. Bottom line . Very knowledgeable and good folks.

Okay Everyone, This is going to be my pleasure to review a Houston Legend. I had a 1957 Chevy step side truck in 1986-1989. I was blowing thru Transmissions like Condoms until a friend of mine sold me his Dad's rebuilt McNeal transmission for $400.00. Fast forward to 2024 and my girlfriend and I are Wintering in Rockport,TX and her transmission goes out and Guess who lives in Rockport TX Now. Jeff MFing McNeal Jr. The son of the Famous Jeff McNeal. I am going to have the privilege of putting a Rebuilt McNeal in our 1996 GMC Sierra SLE 4x4 Tow vehicle. My girl is freaking out and I am like "How does he want? You don't understand who Jeff McNeal is Jersey Girl." I got this! Whoa hoo! I can't wait to get her truck back and feel the NEw Rebuilt from The Legend. Do your Thang!

I was very satisfied with the routine maintenance done on my 2016 F250. They changed fluids & checked the transmission, transfer case, and front & rear differentials. The shop is new, well equipped and neatly kept. I would go back or recommend McNeals.

Great service. I'm a Winter Texan from Midwest, blown transmission line and only one vehicle to rely on. They were able to get the work done quickly in spite of having alot of work stacked up. Numerous folks recommended McNeal. I'm glad they did.

Jamie and Jeff treated us like family. Our truck had ran hot driving down to the coast. They met us on Saturday, afterhours, back at their shop to diagnose the transmission issue. They were very nice, honest and didn't charge us a penny. He even checked to see if he could get the parts needed to fix it that moment. Jeff is a life saver! My transmission went out 30 miles from town on saturday. Even though they were closed Jeff got back to me and was able to look at my truck Monday morning. As figured the transmission was shot! The Mcneals had the truck up and running by wednesday in time for us to head back home as scheduled friday! I can not recommend these folks enough! You don t get any better than this place. Jeff is professional, honest, and very good at what he does. Took my car to a transmission shop in Austin and they were going to charge me $3,000. Jeff told me that was not the problem with my car. He did a thorough diagnostic check and told me what was wrong. Had my car ready to go in a couple of days. First time ever driving away HAPPY from repair shop.Service: Transmission

I am not easily impressed, but the guys in this shop WOW'D me. Not just very skilled but caring also. They stopped what they were doing to help me, figured out what was wrong and fixed it right. This guy treats you like family! He fixed my grandmas car free if charge and it was probably a 500 dollar job!! I have taken my truck to mcneals 2 times and each time he has called me and updated me on the condition of my vehicle as well as explaining to me in clear, easy to understand terms EXACTLY what was wrong and how he planned on fixing it!! TEN STARS FOR MCNEALS TRANSMISSION!!!!!

Mr. Mcneal was very honest and upfront with me. He serviced my vehicle and diagnosed the problem quickly and even DELIVERED my vehicle to me when finished! Omg 10 stars isn't enough for this guy! He went above and beyond for me and I am very thankful!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

One of the best transmission shops I ve ever been to went through the work he did on my pump seal and it was perfect no bs, it was as proffesional as you can get and for a reasonable price he definitely could ve charged me more

This man really knows what he is doing. He rebuilt transmissions for 25+ years in Houston and has recently opened his shop in Rockport.I know he s honest and will treat you right.
