Recently moved to Richardson and found myself in need of a new mechanic, so a couple of weeks ago, I stopped in to the Meineke off 75, just south of Beltline. I brought in an older Honda for a front to back diagnostic, and this Meineke did not disappoint. Alex and his team are fantastic... highly communicative, engaging, even brought me out under the car to point out repair details, when I had very specific questions. Not only will I be going back, I'm bringing a different car in for a check-up, this very morning... that's how good I feel about Alex & his mechanics.

I just relocated here from VA and my EPC light came on, my car was shaking. I immediately called Meineke in Richardson and Amy booked my appointment for the very next day. She calmed my anxiety and ensured that her team would be able to assist. I arrived at 8am and was warmly welcomed by Alex who checked me in and began diagnosing the issue. Alex explained every step and ensured that they would fix the problem (spark plugs). I am in absolute awe of how kind, thoughtful and informative this team is. They have a big heart for every single client that walks through the door and their sense of community and care is incredible. I am so blessed to have Meineke Richardson as my personal car care provider and I highly recommends that you visit them for all of your car needs too. THANK YOU SO MUCH Alex and Amy for treating me like family and I ll see y all in 5000 miles.

I loved the friendly service here! I thought my brake pads were worn and went in for service. They told me they looked fine and wouldn t charge for the brake check. Will be coming by again for any service I need in the future! It s rare to find honest and fair treatment!

Alex & Amy were very helpful. Great work and friendly environment. Alex had to build some custom parts in order to get my '83 Mercedes working like brand new. They did a great job replacing struts, control arms, and ball joints on the front of my car. They got me in and got my car fixed the same day without an appointment. They took good care of my car.

Amy was Awesome- she took my car back immediately to do the inspection - then they did the oil change and tire rotation. It took about 45 minutes and she faced it towards the road and left it running for me. I am very impressed with the professionality and speed! I will definitely come back again!!

Alex and Amy are wonderful people! Took my car there after another shop overcharged me and gave me wrong diagnosis. They found out what was really wrong with the car and took car of it. Wonderful service! Recommend highly! Looks like our family found our new mechanics!

Alex was very helpful when it came to giving my car a diagnostic. I had been struggling to get a clear answer and he was the most helpful honest person. Very clear explanations and great environment for something as stressful as car problems. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Back in November 2023, I had needed the state inspection done for my mom's vehicle. And on a whim, I had decided to give this place a try in light of all the positive reviews that I was reading about this particular location! Amy had greeted me, and singled-handedly handled my service needs despite what seemed like her being the only person at the shop that day to help me.. She was helpful and had the state inspection completed, along with another maintenance item that I needed to have done all within 30 mins max (maybe less)! Amy totally made my day with her expert service, attentiveness, professionalism, which made it a painless and smooth experience for my first ever visit at Meineke.. !! ~An

I highly recommend this Meineke location. Alex, Amy, and their team are knowledgeable, honest, and professional. They provide quality work! I ran into a situation in which my car continued to run hot after being serviced. Without hesitation, Alex sent a tow truck to retrieve my vehicle and found the underlying cause. FREE of Charge. What other repair shop do you know cares that much about their work or customers? None. You've found the right location!

We made an appointment online for an oil change. Amy was professional and knowledgeable. We didn't have to wait too long for the service to be completed. We traveled pretty far to come here because this place has great ratings. We were not disappointed! We highly recommend this location!

This is probably our fourth visit to this particular Meineke and they ve never let us down. Did an oil change for my daughters car in under an hour. Replaced the timing belt and fixed various other issues with my wife s car in two days. Still very happy with their customer service!

Alex, Amy and Roy are just amazing. Got rear breaks, ac fix and sensor in the engine looked at. They treat your car like their own- meaning they understand when you need it back same day! (Don t take this post to mean that 100 things can be done in one day-be for real y all) anyway, shoutout to the team. Will be taking my baby back to you guys for anything mechanical. :)

Amazing work! They run a full inspection on your car and give you a detailed breakdown estimate. Very knowledgeable and customer service is 5/5 stars as well.

I will never take my car anywhere else!!! I started at a different auto shop to get a standard oil change and an inspection. I sat there for 35 minutes and whole crew could not open the hood of my car. They even tried to wedge it open, leaving dents in my hood. After being turned away without an inspection or oil change I was feeling discouraged and worried I might have to spend hundreds of dollars to fix my hood. Someone recommended I try Meineke, I don t know where this place has been my whole life!! Alex opened my hood in 5 seconds and even with a full packed schedule, he fit me in with a timely manner! I really appreciate how their whole team really cares about their customers, they offered me the best deals and didn t try to upsell me on anything! Definitely coming back and everyone should go to Meineke!!!!

Strongly recommend! Excellent service!I'd been having problems with my Mazda 6 car alarm going off sporadically and been to a number of shops that had been unable to resolve the issue. My mechanic took the time to step by step eliminate likely culprits and track the problem to a faulty hood latch sensor. It's been over a month since then and have had no more issues.Plan to continue getting my regular car maintenance at this shop. Worth the trip.

Alex and Amy have been the absolute best, for over a year I have been having different issues with my vehicle and they have been nothing short of amazing. As long as i stay in the area and they are open i will continue bring my vehicle to them. I actually felt valued not just another easy target.

Meineke Richardson did a great job on my car. They understand that I can't get everything fixed at once and they help parcel out the work for me and gave me good pricing relative to the competition in the area. Big thanks to Alex. Also thank you to Amy as well.

I highly reccomend this Meineke location!The new store manager Alex takes ownership of each and every job. I have taken my vehicle in for several different items like suspension work to transmission work and the team here really took care of me. Owners Mr. Doug and Mrs. Evelyn both have picked me up and dropped me off at work. I appreciate all the time and hard work this team has provided me during my visits.

Please read the whole review. My experience started out frustrating but due to a personnel change it turned out great.I initially took my 1975 Chevy C20 in to fix an exhaust leak from the engine block. I had the gaskets replaced with the assumption that this would fix my leak and I was not told otherwise. After the work was done it began to leak again a few days later and so I called back to have it rechecked to see what the issue was. The next person that looked at it explained to me that the header was warped and so I would need to replace the headers and one of the heads to fix the problem which I was fine with. About that same time Alex and Roy had basically taken over in the shop and the prior mechanics were now gone. Roy called me and explained that the maintenance I was going to have done was more of a quick fix and that there was a chance that I would be needing to come back again for a similar issue. Roy had explained that what I needed to do was have both heads replaced and machine in order to ensure they were a perfect match as well as replacing the headers like I had planned on doing. I left for vacation while they were working on my truck and when I returned to pick up my truck it sounded and was running better than I could have expected. There was no longer a leak, Alex and Roy had repainted the top of my engine block, my spark plug wires were replaced because they noticed (and showed me) a misfire issue, and the new headers looked perfect. Finally, they had me drive it for a couple days and bring it back to make sure everything was calibrated as it was supposed to be.Overall I am very happy with the experience that I had and I will be returning to Meineke for any major maintenance that I need. I highly recommend Alex and Roy to take care of your vehicle. If you had a bad experience in the past or know of someone that has give this location another shot because the personnel change has made a very positive impact on customer satisfaction. I have also attached a couple photos that show how great my engine looks now.Services: Exhaust, General repairs & maintenance, Engine repair

I recently moved to North Dallas/Richardson area so when I started having truck problems, I had my truck towed to the nearest spot. This is by far the best experience I ve had with an auto repair shop. Alex and Amy are great. I had my truck fixed and back on the road quickly. 3 months later I had another problem, a separate issue from before. Alex fixed the second issue under warranty for free even though it was not related to the first reason I brought the truck in. I will never go to another repair shop as long as I am living in the Dallas area. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone.

I ll be going here from now on! I tried to fix the issue myself, got 95% done and couldn t get it. I don t work on cars but wanted to try. Anyway got it towed here and was fixed fast and you could tell they cared! Was all around GREAT service and Alex is awesome and kind!
