I've brought my last two vehicles here for various problems and they always do good work. I've been very happy with them. Went in for a state inspection around 11am on a Saturday morning and was in and out in about 20 minutes. Thanks!

Mike Jones and crew have been great to work with over the past 20+ years. My experiences with them is they have consistently provided knowledgeable, professional and courteous service along with reasonable cost.Yes, I recommend Heinley s.

I called Heinley's for a quote on a tune up and they told me $109. Then, they told me it would be $125. They did less than a hour's labor on my car (removing my spark plugs) and said it would now be $560!!! What?!? I asked them to put the spark plugs back in and I would pay for the 1 hour labor, and that I was going to another car shop. The rude manager said it would be $350 to put the old spark plugs back in. This man is a swindler and a crook. If you want to get taken advantage of and robbed come here. I am telling everyone to never go to Heinley's. I got screwed over big time.

I have gotten my inspection done at this location for the past couple of years. I never had an issue with them until they worked on my daughter's car and were extremely unprofessional to my daughter. I am never taking my car to get inspected at this location again. I encourage people to support our local business, but when females get treated like they don't know anything about cars, that's frustrating.

I used to work there MANY years ago. I loved it then and I think they're still awesome, reliable and do great work!

Had my alternator diagnosed and replaced within a few hours. They were very prompt and reasonable prices.

Fastest car inspections I ve ever had. Saved me time on one inspection by stopping me before even pulling my car in - said they could immediately tell I needed new tires first.

Great place and great prices, I just moved to Richardson and usually I do my oil changes myself because they've gotten so expensive everywhere lately but just wanted to get it done quick. So I live 2 minutes away and stopped by on a Saturday morning and they were done in 20 minutes and the price was phenomenal compared to everyone else.As long as they don't double their price like everyone else I will come here for every single one of my oil changes.

Took my '04 Mazda3 in after the check engine light came on for the second time in 2 weeks. The initial problem was identified and repaired so the second time taking it in was a different check engine code but still emissions related.I was advised to try a new gas gap in which I explained I thought of that and had just changed it. Was told to try a cap from the dealership and not auto zone. Got a cap from mazda and it fixed the problem!!Heinleys could have said anything but were honest enough to start with recommending the cheapest route first. Definitely recommend

Trustworthy? Perhaps. Competent? Not so much. I came into Heinley s two weeks ago with a power steering issue. They we unable to diagnose the problem, so they topped off the fluid and directed me to drive around for a week or so and return, thinking they might be able to see a leak the next time. Upon returning with the same issue, I was told they were again unable to find a leak. They asked me to give it another week, but before leaving I asked that they show me the area under the hood I should be watching (I m not very mechanically inclined). Upon popping the hood, I noticed fluid all over place. Their reaction? Wow. Looks like we will need to replace the pump. ($800). The next day same issue (same noise, same splatter). My wife s coworker, who is not a technician but obviously more mechanically inclined than me, immediately noticed a bad weld on a metal tube coming from the power steering pump. He advised that this was likely the issue. I took it back to Heinley s where they confirmed that they could fix the problem by simply replacing that tube with a new hose. Problem solved. Heinley s refunded half of the $800 I spent on the pump. I appreciate this, but I don t think this makes up for the gross incompetence or the fact that I m out $400 for a mere hose. I also missed hours of work taking the car back and forth. I won t be returning to Heinley s.

Walked in to this shop to a very rude man, i was broke down and from out of town. He didn't give me the time of day and just said he couldn't do the job in a rude way. That was a bad experience. Screw that shop no wonder he's shop looked empty.

Great service. I've been there on a weekday and a weekend, and I always get out of there really quickly. Don't know if it is efficiency or if they are just well staffed. Best auto place I've ever gone to.

These guys are fantastic!! They did a very swift and professional inspection of my tire looking for the cause of the slow leak. They found that it was a stem that wasn't tightened down enough. They were done in 5 minutes and didn't even charge me for that service. I know where I'm bringing my vehicle to whenever I need service from now on!!!Service: Tires

Parked outside for 10 mins, no service. 2 guys outside just staring at me, no motivation to approach or help me at all. I had to call the desk just to figure things out.

I would highly recommend this place. On my first visit I brought in a cargo trailer to have it detailed and the quality of work that they performed was beyond my expectations. Because of the friendliness and professional service from the staff that I received on my first visit, I brought back in a vehicle that needed the A/C serviced. Once again the service was outstanding!

Have had my car serviced at Heinley's Car Care for over 7 years. I've found them to be straightforward, efficient, and an economical option to a car dealership service department. When dropping off my care, I let them know what service need to be performed; if they find other issues, the call me for authorization to do more. They're very up-front about what can wait as opposed to what s an emergency.

I was having issues with my AC not staying cool . After they looked at at my car, I was told it was my fan that needed to be replaced. They completed the repairs. Total cost to replace was about $470. After driving my car around a few days - I noticed that my AC was still having the same issue of not staying cool. I took it back to Heinley's explained to them that the issue had not been fixed and had them take a look again. I left my car with them and a couple hours later I get a call stating that it's an issue with the compressor and would be $1200 to fix. He also strategically mentioned that it was also a problem with a bad fan too (which they had already replaced). I was told by them "that Honda CRV's are known to have issues with the compressor." If the mechanic already knew of Honda CRV history of compressor issues, why did it take SECOND time for them to actually find the problem. They stated they had my old fan which I will have tested at another place which is something I shouldn't have to do, but I dont trust that this place is honest.Service: Air conditioning

An auto repair establishment. Been around for years. Nothing outstanding. Clean place. Work was done well the first time. What is an extra couple stars added, is if you use the Dart rail system, they are across the street from the station. Make arrangements in advance, bring them the car and get on the train. It's complicated when you return and no time for other arrangements is necessary. Really makes things convenient.

I'd taken my car 3 times to this shop. The first two i didn't even realize what they were upto... although i knew the same work could be done for few $$$ less in other shops i always wanted to give business to my locality.. (i live 0.1 miles away from this shop). The 3rd visit was for AC repair. So they told me they'd charge $39 for diagnostic service after which they will be able to tell me what all need to be fixed.I said ok and went for it. After a while i called up to ask the status and they told me it was fixed, your AC is good. I was happy until they handed me the bill which was $110. They had refilled the Freon gas and changed the compressor rally they said. What makes them think they can do whatever they want, change whatever they want and then bill the customer later? I seriously don't understand this shop.I did pay up $110... which i regret. I went for oil change, which i could have done, in another shop the same day coz i have ended my relationship with this business. No more business. The end.

Always great and friendly service. Recently got a bent heat shield that the dealership wanted $500 to replace, which is absurd. This place, however, just bent it back free of charge. Problem and rattling noise solved!

I've been using Heinley's for about 10 years and have never had a problem. They are not inexpensive, but they are thorough and honest. During my last visit they diagnosed a problem and found, through internet research, that there was a manufacturer's tech bulletin that applied and sent me to the dealership rather than making the repairs themselves and charging me for them.

Tells me i need to bring car in to get estimate then when i get there then im told "oh we can't do it today" proceeds to tell me some ridicules price. $700+ for a $400 job. Will not recommend using their service.

I've been by to pickup my car two times during business hours (posted only on Google not on the actual building anywhere nor on their website) which states till 6pm. Which is the earliest time I could imagine a shop closing up since working people get off work at the earliest at 5pm. Yet each time I have been by at 530 the shop is not only closed, but looks as if it's been closed for hours. I also tried calling, suprise, no voicemail. This isn't even speaking to the overpriced and overreaching quote on work needed and not needed for my car. Ridiculous! Needless to say I'm taking my car somewhere else and suggest you do the same....sorry heinley....

Nightmare experience. I took my car here to get a check engine light taken care of, they wrote me a bill for $5400, thats okay - it's just over 100,000 miles, it probably needs some work. Just got an oil change though at a nearby auto shop chain and they said everything looked good, couldnt find the problem causing a check engine light but recommended me to Heinley's. I got just the part associated with the check engine light fixed (radiator hose replacement). Next day, my engine started smoking. Took it back in and a hose had come undone, leaking fluid everywhere. The problem was with a different radiator hose they said, the one to the intake valve. They said they didn't touch that one. But literally, the NEXT DAY, this problem happened in what they called a "freak accident". They told me I needed a new radiator and could get me one for around 300, with a 200 dollar labor fee. Didn't even offer to waive labor or anything, refused to admit it was even possible they had something to do with it. Currently in my car, waiting to get towed to a dealership. Never again.
