I've been here 4x total and the last two weren't good. I had my spark plugs replaced on the 2nd to last visit and the car sounds different now. I also asked for other things to be checked & they blew it off. My receipt was scribble, not itemized. So they essentially get away with charging you for whatever.Yesterday i went to get my tires rotated & and an inspection. My car is missing a hub cap so I know they wouldn't be dumb enough not to rotate them. It took them 14min total. Walked in at 12:40 & was rung up af 12:54. I looked at my car and all the tires were in the same place. I confronted them and they argued that the mechanic did do it. But added they didn't feel I needed it. So they charged me $31. I also didn't hear the tool they use to unscrew lug nuts nor did I hear them lifting my car. If they manually did that then I would've been sitting for an hour. Complete liars.I thought they could at least do simple things like these but they must think because I'm a female I don't know any better & shouldn't ask questions.On top of that, the fact that I've seen the same men there all the time and they aren't even friendly to returning patrons. They just use hand gestures and mumble at you. All their customers seem to be men too. If you are a woman, definitely do not go here.I just want to take care of my car, she's old and mechanics who blow you off are not the ones you want. They should be talking to you & educating you. If you need or dont need something and be mindful of those of us who work from home.I will no longer be doing business here.

Bad experience ever! When I want to do my inspection, They want to rip me off of $160 just to change my signal lights and wipers. When I said no, I will go fix everything by myself. They didn't like it. And they forced me to pay the inspection or they will call cops. It's not about paying the inspection, but it's about the way they treated me after I refused to change signals and wipers at their location. The old man disrespected me, and he didnt treated me as a customer who always come to their location. I will never go back to this location!!!Btw, I changed the signals and wipers by myself and costed me only 25 Dollars at Walmart!! From $160 to $25. Good try

My (86 YO) mom has taken her car here for years. But, this last visit has me hoping she will NEVER set foot in this place again. If she does, rest in my attendance WITH her. Her car is 2018 and they con d her into TWENTY new $7 lug nuts because they have ALL(?) failed coincidentally at the SAME TIME!!! Then left her with NO AIR in her newly rotated tires!!!!! You d think PROFESSIONALS would have NOTICED the tires they JUST ROTATED were low(?)!!! See pic below tire of pressures:I ve owned my 2010 truck of the same brand for ten years (195k miles) and HAVE NEVER been charged for ONE lug nut. And, I rotate the tires at least 2x annually!Yes, these guys have a different customer service model depending on your age, race and GENDER . It s GROSSIf you don t want the little lady treatment, I d skip this one

Arapaho Automotive did a great job yesterday getting my RAM pick up truck inspected. It took maybe 10 or 12 minutes for them to knock out the job. They were very nice and the waiting area was comfortable and cool during these hot temperatures we re having around here. I ll definitely go back again.

For the simple stuff that I ve used them for (inspection, oil change, fix a flat, etc), they are fast, and very reasonably priced.

Ali and his team are the absolute BEST!!! Shout out to Billy who is an absolute All-Star and pro!! Ali is by far the best mechanic I know and I highly recommend Arapaho Automotive. Great prices and highly skilled mechanics. Don t bother with a chain franchise or dealership when you can go to a great family owned local independent shop that does great honest work!

While visiting the Dallas area, my Lexus' alternator quit charging the battery, causing the car to quit running with little notice. After I called AAA to tow the car, Arapaho Automotive had the problem diagnosed in short order and were able to install a new alternator the next day. Wonderful service!

Had a State inspection with no wait. I had them check power steering oil and they said it did not needed to be change. Honest service and nice staff working at the facility.

I was told to come back on Tuesday because they didn't have the time to do my oil change. Two men who came in after me asked for oil changes and were able to do so. All that I was able to do was my state inspection. The only reason I chose this place was the fact they are open on Saturday. I work Tuesdays just like you do. The pricing looked good here and I thought the reviews are good but I was not treated well. I'll look for another shop in the area.

We have been going here for years and have been very satisfied with the service we've received over the years. We have older cars, some over 20 years old. We have foreign cars and domestic and all the care we've received has been clear, fair, quick, and consistently great. I also enjoy the fact that they explain things to me clearly and respectfully so I understand and not "man-splain". I love them and highly recommend!

Absolutely adore these guys. Have been going there for yeeeeeeeears. High level of trust. One time I went in to pick up my car and they gave me the car keys and some money, like @ $100!! LOL! It turned out the part they were going to replace only needed cleaning. I had already paid them, though. So they fixed my car, gave me the keys, gave me some money, and sent me on my merry way. Beautiful.

The person to my right and left had decades of stories of how the techs never took advantage of them here. The tech came out to tell the woman on my right that she didn t need an oil change so she paid nothing and left. I can t believe I stumbled onto this place!

I came here to have my car inspected. The staff were friendly enough and they took my car in right away. Everything turned out good and I passed. It was a relief because some of these mom and pop auto repair places can be hit and miss. These guys seemed fair and I would come back again for a repair versus just an inspection.

I used to come here for all of my inspections and oil changes. Then it took them 4 HOURS to change 2 belts, an oil change and only my back brakes. I was the first person and only person in the shop that morning. About hour 2 is when they let me know that they don t even have the part THAT THEY OFFERED TO FIX!!! Hour 3 is when they let me know the part is on it s way. Hour 4 is when you might get your car back. If y all want to ruin a full day I would say go here.Services: Transmission, Brakes, Oil change

I took my car for an inspection. They were efficient and helpful. I told him I was getting my sticker at tom thumb, he reminded me that I needed the green form, which I did not have with me. Saved me some hassle. Honest respectful service. I highly reccomend.

I've been taking my cars here for oil changes and car repairs for over 5 years. They are honest and don't try to upsell everything. Their prices are very reasonable as well. Everytime I've had repairs done on my cars, they complete the repairs the same day.

I used these guys for 8 years to change the oil on my Audi. The last time they charged me over $40 to change the oil even though I brought my own oil and filter! This year I decided to change my Audi's oil myself. The drain plug was at double the torque recommended, and I had to nearly destroy the oil filter to remove it. Luckily, they didn't strip the threads. On top of that, there are many bolts holding the plastic engine guard, and they threw all the Torx bolts away, they kept only the flat screwdriver ones.I'll change my own oil from now on.

I went here to get my oil and filter changed. They did it quickly using the oil and filter I provided and did a great job. Best part is the price is unbeatable!
