I am so happy and satisfied with A1 Quality! I absolutely hate bringing my car to the mechanic but I had a feeling these guys would not disappoint. CJ was kind and honest while explaining to me what needed to be done to my car. They were quick to diagnose the problem , repaired it and surprisingly saved me hundreds of dollars . I can t express how grateful I am to them . I know where to bring my car the next time I have an issue and would highly recommend their services . Thank you again A1!

Love this place! My son's car clutch went out on his way home from college. The mechanics in Collin County wanted $ 3000 to 3500 for the repair. A1 was just half the price. They will be recieving my business for now on.

Took my RAM 1500 to A1 Transmission in Richardson because my transmission was starting to act up.issues. Both the owner and CHILD were professional and polite. They had my truck diagnosed within 2 days and fixed in 5 days. The price was right were they quoted me and the 12 month 12k warranty was more than I expected. I am definitely going to use them again if needed and recommend to my friends and family. Thanks A1 Transmission

HA! They wanted to charge me $480 just to change my transmission fluid, mind you it takes about 15 minutes to do this. What a joke of a mechanic shop. The most greediest.

5 star service! I had the differential in my truck rebuilt and Cj was awesome from the moment I called he helped me through the whole process and answered all my questions. He told me it would 3 days to get it back and he had it done in 2 and had my truck back before new years. I would definitely recommend!

I am so pleased with the work A1 did on my car. I ve been using them for several years for other things because I trust them. And last week my transmission went out. Omg! They saved me and although I did not like paying for a transmission I feel like their prices were very very fair. Thank you A1 for always taking care of me and my families vehicles. Great guys, more than helpful. And extremely knowledgeable. Had one shop try to tell me there was nothing wrong with the truck and within 15 minutes these guys had the problem figured out.

My brakes were making noise, especially in the rear, so I stopped at A1 to see Tim11, who diagnosed the problem very quickly. My rear brake pads needed replacing but the front were OK as were the rotors. An A1 mechanic installed new rear pads very efficiently and effectively to remedy the problem and the cost was very reasonable. Any other shop possibly might have told me they all needed replacing but not here. In the office on the front desk hangs a sign that says "you've come to the place for Honest, Quality Service", which is absolutely true! Honest, Quality Service at a very reasonable cost. I highly recommend A1 for your transmission and car repair needs. I've used them several times and can truthfully say that they're the best for Honest, Quality Service you can depend on. I went there got my coolant bypass valve replaced. The owner(taybi), CJ and Princeton ( hope I spell the name right) are really responsible, honest and patient.They value your time and money. I got amazing service with good, reasonable price.I highly recommend this place if you have any car problems.And I will come back for my future auto repairs!

I would highly recommend A1 Quality Transmission & Auto Repair to anyone looking for reliable and honest work on their vehicle. I have been in a couple times to have my car worked on and I am greeted with care and respect. The owner is kind, compassionate, and truly gives the definition of customer service to his customers. You can tell that he takes care of every customer as if they are family and does not settle with anything but quality work. Charged me $700 for a water pump replacement. I left my car on Friday morning and got it back on Monday afternoon. As soon as I start to drive I notice a loud screeching sound in my steering system that wasn't there before bringing it in. I go back to the shop and they find my power steering hose has a large hole and is leaking air. The mechanic admits to bending it while working in that area and accidentally causing it to tear. They cut the hose where it's leaking and put it back in its place telling me the noise will go away, Although they don't bother to bleed the air completely out of the power steering system. They tell me to drive for a couple of days but the grinding noise is still there. Again I bring it to the shop and the owner offers to replace the Power Steering Pump without charge if it solves the issue. I go back to the shop later on thinking it was finally fixed only for the owner to say it's not the Power Steering Pump and that I have to pay $120 if I want them to look deeper into the issue.At this point I take my car back after they've stopped taking accountability for the damage done in their hands...Turns out it Was the Power Steering Pump. It got damaged after they let air into the system and gave me my car back with a damaged hose. The exact same thing the owner said he'd change but later took back caused me to spend another $500 getting it replaced. Poor customer service and no accountability. You don't expect to spend your hard earned money on one thing just to leave with another issue that wasn't there before. I Rather take my chances anywhere else than to risk something like this happening again.

This is my second time using A1 Quality Transmission. The owner is very honest about what can, what cant, and what may be able to be done. Always tries to keep your price low when possible and is very communicative. Never feel like im getting yanked over because I'm a female and don't know anything about cars haha. For the major repairs I needed done, I am satisfied with the pricing he gives. Turned my very sluggish non responsive transmission into a hellcat lol. So far so good, very nice owner. I think I will be going back for other transmission services on any of my other vehicles. With his last work, I just got it back so looking forward to trouble free experience. My car right now feels like new. As for the the price of the work done was a lot less what others have been asking for.

Price was more than double all competitors. When asked why no reasons could be given. Extremely rude. Because I asked why the price would be more than double I was told I was giving the mechanic a hard time and he told me has decided to not help me. If you can t get past a two minute conversation on the phone with them good luck getting your transmission serviced for more than double the price with no explanation.

We were visiting from Green Bay, Wisconsin and started having transmission problems. They truly helped us out. Excellent service. I would recommend A1 Quality Transmission & Auto Repair to everyone. The service they provided was above great. They replaced my transmission within three days and they took care of the tow fee, they honored the price they quoted me, and the way they treated me made me feel like family. I cannot say enough good things. These guys are amazing. From the owner to the men working there. If you ever have issues I would definitely say give them a call first.

Tim and his crew did an amazing job on my Son's vehicle! He needed a complete Transmission rebuild. Not only was Tim patient in explaining what was wrong and why he recommended the service plan he did. In addition, he took the time to speak with my Son about driving safe, being careful and taking proper care of his first car. A1 Transmission really cares and the car runs/shifts like a dream now. To put a cherry on top, they did in a reasonable amount of time at a fair price!

A1 quality had amazing service! I have gotten a lot of my car issues solved there. They are honest, on time and most importantly QUALITY work. They are very reliable and to the point. Once you have something fixed. You will not come back for the same issue. Today was my first experience going to this shop and I love it! The customer service is excellent, they are honest! I thought today I would have to spend $100 plus dollars on a transmission flush, the manager told me no I m not charging you for something that you may not need! I walked out not spending a dime, but will be going back to tip them for their great customer service!!! And I plan to refer everyone I know to this place, and from here on out is where I plan to go! If you want honest, hard working, certified engine and transmission mechanics this is the perfect spot!
