This was the best semi truck shop that I've ever been to. Everyone here was friendly, professional, and courteous. I've had alot of work done on my tractor trailer and this has been the best service I've ever received. Everything that I needed fixed was taken care of and I also was informed after pick up of minor things that I would need to do if I didn't want it done there (like adding Coolant and wiper fluid). James worked on my truck and he took the upmost care of my truck and made sure I was good to get back out on the road ready to work in a timely manner. I was expecting for the work that had to be done to take weeks but I was surprised it didn't even take half that time. If I ever need anything extra done for my truck this is where I will be going and I suggest you do the same. Thank you again for everything.

I was having trouble with my 5th wheel yesterday and came here to see what could be done about it. They quoted me $1,500 and 4 hours. When I came back this morning they got me right in, only took 2 1/2 hours, and it only cost $1,200. I have found my new mechanic in Texas.

Being from Georgia, my truck broke down in Ranger, TX on a Thursday evening. After having called several repair shops that couldn t work on truck due to mechanic shortage, or the time frame allotted for DEF job was too time consuming with the limited help so we reached out to the Truck Doctor (where we picked the vehicle up after purchasing) and agreed to have it towed there. A month later, we re headed to pick truck up, test drive went great, headed home, same problem reoccur, take it back, James and his crew immediately diagnosed another issue that cost us a nights stay, however, the next days test drive proved the truck to be running GREAT!. Was the entire experience great, no, however, I do understand that this shop is extremely busy and sometimes being overwhelmed can cause miscommunication. What I can appreciate the most is the way James and his awesome crew willingness to show and explain everything in detail, or what the next steps may be in diagnosing and/or fixing issues, and the urgency to complete job satisfactory. A real nice stand up guy is a nice way of describing James for most, however, for me, I ll call him a God Send ! Would I recommend James and Crew @ Truck Doctor? YES and They Deserve the 5 stars I gave because they earned them. Professional, Knowledgeable, and Personable are the words I choose to describe James and Crew. It was an awesome sight to see them unwinding after hours with a friendly game of water guns a good vibe! My truck quit about a mile from this establishment. I walked in this place in frustration, crying, just busted and disgusted. James told me stop worrying he would take care of me and Ms. Lisa allowed me to cry on her shoulder. As far as repairs goes, he DID NOT DISAPPOINT If your truck is sick, take it to the doctor. My experience with the Texas Truck Doctor was absolutely amazing. My semi was not performing well, underpowered and incorrectly programmed. James, the head mechanic and owner, was very knowledgeable and willing to work with me to resolve my truck issues. My truck is now performing well and up to the proper standards. This company is a scam. They charged me 3,000 monthly for a 2015 Freightliner. They want 130,000.00 for this vehicle with 640,000 miles. They have this truck valued at 77,000 .. it doesn t come with a warranty and it does not come with gap insurance. If you pick up your vehicle in Rome Tx. You will pick up the truck from Truck Doctor. The employee /owners are extremely rude and racist. While they are in the process of Collecting money; they are nice. Once all finds are received, they look at you and speak to you as if you are trash. LRM was the same way in the beginning, nice sweet and helpful. After funds were collected they ignored many of my calls. (Which the calls were because of the issues I had with the truck within the first week) when I did get ahold of Robert all he could say was, it s as is!Truck Doctor will tell you the price of something so that they can get paid more from LRM. Example, we had to get another key for the truck which was 92.00 Truck Doctor told LRM the Key was 120.00. All in all, I don t recommend getting a truck from this company.At LRM I did business with Robert and at Truck Doctor I did business with James.

James has been lead mechanic on our fleet for over a year now. His knowledge and experience has been priceless to us. If you want a real shop and a mechanic who can actually fix something and not just replace it like all the other shops then bring your rig here.

The main mechanic James is a incredibly stand up guy. He s professional and more importantly understanding to your situation and need. I took my truck to a few different places about the same problem with no change in the problem. James on the other hand pin pointed the problem right away. I live in Oklahoma and it is WORTH the drive to Texas to have truck doctor work on my truck.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

James the owner was very helpful in the process and knowledgeable about the aftertreatment problems we were having.. as I was there in the shop he was helpful and timely in the services provided, as well as kept me in the loop mechanicly about wht was going on and why. I would definitely recommend James and his shop for other customers as well as future shop visits for myself. Any time we have a truck issue in Dallas / Fort Worth Area these guys will always be our first call. Very professional and don't believe in taking advantage of customers like a lot of repair shops are. Cant beat good quality people and thats who these guys are!Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

Lead mechanic James help me fuel tanks not using equal amounts of fuel , James fixed it and will be using The Truck Doctor again in the future. Very pleased with a well do e job.

This is a Public Service Announcement! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT bring your truck to this shop. They are very unprofessional & rude. The mannerism is lacking & they have poor customer service. They do a piss poor job at answering simple questions & they will mess your truck up. It's as if they dont want any customers. I refuse to ever step foot back at this place. It was highly unwelcoming. Save your energy & go elsewhere because this place isn't it.

They got the job done but not in a timely manner. Mechanic sat around on his phone for over an hour while my driver waited and charged me 4+ hours for 30 minutes of work.
