We decided to pull off on a Sunday evening and stay in the RV for the night. It has been a long day coming from Grand Prairie and going to Jefferson then home. All I wanted to do was park the RV, set-up, and go to sleep. What happened after that was just awesome. We were welcomed as soon as we entered the park. Our reservations were done online and they couldn't pull them up since a huge thunderstorm was just north of the lake. Mind you it was 7 on a Sunday after a long weekend with the family( 1000 miles pulling a 38ft 5th wheel behind a f250 with 3 teenagers in the backseat) and they didn't hesitate to verify anything. Gave us the best spot in the house and said we would love the lake view. Well, later that evening, the storm finally made it! I'm talking 80+mph winds. I thought all the trees around us would be falling on the camper( been a bad drought in Texas for some time). Woke up the next morning and the nice lady who we met the day before said " take your time leaving, there might be some trees on the road". All I could say was well do y'all have some coffee? She made pot just for us for free. Epic!!!!

Had a great dinner date with my hubby!And got to watch a Murder Mystery! They have lots of events here year around.... from Corn hole tournaments to decorating cookies with Mrs Claus to having live bands. Keep up to date with them and no telling what is going on but its always fun and something for everybody!

This was my first time eating here in a long while, but the staff was friendly, and the food was really good. I had the catfish and the portions were unexpectedly huge. Love the lake view as well.

Nice, quite, easy access for launching your boat. Fishing piers. Access to swimming.

Love the new dock not much on catching fish but it was great place to hang with family and make new friends

Only drove through while exploring the area. Very few people there, but overall the place looked clean & well kept. Not fancy, but not a total dive, either. Restaurant was closed at the time of our visit.

Good food ,problem is staffing problems. Some people do not know their positions. But over all a great place.

This is our own little piece of the piney woods and iron ore muddy water. We love the restaurant. Food is always WONDERFUL. Stephanie is the best.

Was better when u didn't have to pay 5 dollars a person to swim. 3 dollars was ok but prefer a free swimming place, would have more to spend at bait shop if it didn't cost 25 for my family to swim.

Too much to complain about... Portions very small for the price, food not good. Friendly staff, a little too talkative while you're trying to eat and enjoy your dining company. Too far to drive for such disappointment hasn't always been this way. Remember great food back when

I liked this place. It was peaceful not a lot of partying. The dock is so nice!!! Has beautiful lights all over it. Nice to fish on.I saw some showers which is awesome.I heard dogs bark all night trying to camp. LmaoWe kayaked on it and had a good time.

Food never disappoints, the Swamp Plate, endless fried catfish or the Seafood Combo. I recommend them all.Very friendly staff combined with an amazing atmosphere, plus they recently redid their piers so the fishing spots or just walk and enjoy the view is wonderful.I give this 5 stars over and over again!!

Normally the food is great. However, tonight my fries were cold - well, not cold but certainly not hot. Waitress was very nice. It was a very, very busy night for the restaurant. Blue Grass jam session had a very talented group!

It took us over 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our food and once we got it, it was ice cold. They offered us to warm it up but at $18/plate we had to request new ones which then took another 30ish minutes. The server was at no fault however the cooks should be held accountable.

We love taking our dog out to this lake to swim and the snow cone stand is great!

The staff is very friendly, but the food doesn't always come out right. It's great most of the time. The live music is always fun on Thursday night. The stage area is also very nice.

We got to listen to some great live music, while playing in the water. We had a fantastic time at the 4th of July bash. All inclusive family fun, that is affordable. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Thank you staff for all your hard work.

Food is real good and service is excellentPlace is very cleanOn Friday's they have all you can eat shrimp and Saturday is all you can eat catfish fillersIf you live around Lake striker give it a try

Very hospitable staff. Revitalizing the resort. Nice facilities & good fishing. Launch for boats & big covered fishing pier. Quite & somewhat undiscovered. Restaurant with good food & prices. Concerts on weekend & jam sessions on Thursdays. Highly recommend.

The fish were awesome. Different batter. Very flakey and tasteful. The shrimp were good. Batter more in flower, great taste. The atmosphere nice and welcoming. Will definitely be back. Loved this.

Always love eating here. My family and I had a great dinner, with wonderful service. The portions are perfect, and the food is always very well prepared. Try the bean pot and the peach cobbler.

Entertainment was good. People are nice. Sunday is good time to meet everyone who lives on the lake at the volleyball pit playing. But the fishing is really bad, I've been here a week and fished every day and caught 7 fish toltal. To be honest I'd have better luck fishing in my fish tank at home.

My wife and I have been there three times and have enjoyed each time. Food was a little better than good and each time we tried something different, service was friendly and relatively quick, even on a Saturday night. We will definitely be going back and staying sometimes. Worth the trip from Lindale, Texas.

We didn't know the restaurant was about to close but the waitress allowed us to go ahead and have a seat anyway. She was uper friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of!

$90.00 for my cabin. Sheets and pots weren't clean. Window was busted out and covered with cardboard that wasn't even attached. Live German cockroach and a dead (better than live) scorpion in the bathroom. No filter in the nasty a/c unit. Sometime between 03:30 and 05:00 am the tire on my vehicle was slashed on the inside by my gas tank access, and my gas tank had been siphoned dry. I had half a tank when I pulled into the grounds. I told the owner about it, and he me called a liar. Well, he said he "wasn't calling me a liar, but that it didn't happen on his property" & that he had "people scared to death to come on his property." I had family in the other 2 cabins, & from what I understand, there was rat feces on one of their beds. Up the road from the place, I was told that they had eaten at this restaurant and had complained about the fish tasting strange and that the same owner took the piece of fish off the plate & took a bite and said, "this fish don't taste funny." Then took another bite and said, "no there ain't nothin' wrong with this fish." & walked off. They never went back. They also said that he keeps his dog in the restaurant. He has no seeming reasoning ability. I also heard the place is for sale. I hope the new owners take more pride in doing this place justice. Its a beautiful piece of lakefront property that could be an amazing place to stay if its managed well. I could have gave more stars based on the location Alone. However, the owner caused a large deduction of stars.

Very quiet at the restaurant. We had great service and the fish fillets we're good size. The prices were in range. Nice sun set. We're going back again.
