I recently had a disappointing experience with Brakes Plus (Prosper, TX - Windsong Ranch Location), which I feel compelled to share. My initial visit was due to a concerning vibration in the steering wheel when braking. The team at Brakes Plus recommended replacing the front rotors and brake fluid, which cost me around $500. Unfortunately, the issue persisted.Returning for a second visit, they then suggested the vibration might be from the rear rotors, leading to another $500 expense. Yet, the problem remained unresolved. Following their further advice, I spent $80 on wheel balancing, which also did not address the vibration.On my fourth visit, a staff member acknowledged the ongoing issue after driving my car and proposed replacing the front rotors again, implying the previous replacements might have been faulty. Despite these efforts and substantial costs, my car s issue remained.The final straw came when a separate service provider informed me the brake fluid was highly contaminated, directly contradicting Brakes Plus claim of having replaced it. This revelation was particularly frustrating, considering the amount paid for this service.In total, I ve spent over $1,000 and made numerous visits to Brakes Plus, yet my initial problem persists. I am deeply disappointed with the quality of service and the lack of resolution. I cannot recommend Brakes Plus, based on my experience of repeated attempts to rectify an issue that remains unsolved and for services charged but seemingly not performed.

The guys here at this location go above and beyond to their customers. Full of integrity and ready to help. We felt cared for and appreciated all the information they provided along the way. The wait is never too long. When I called to ask a question they gladly helped and kept a heads up that I was going in so they were ahead of what was coming that next day and are always prepared and ready to help. You dont get ripped off and these guys know their stuff. Very professional. Glad we found our new break s business and with them, we know we are being taken care of.

Went in to get my state inspection done, Byron has great customer service, quick and efficient. We got our brakes done on our second car about a month ago, we brought it in and got the car back the same day. Always a great experience walking in this store

These guys are the best! I have taken multiple cars, multiple times to them and they have been so unbelievably helpful with everything. I have never had a bad experience with them and they always take amazing care of me and my cars!! I can t recommend them enough!

Upgraded my Rear Suspension with Heavy Duty Leave Springs and Bilstein Shocks.Great Job at a Great Price. I used to only go to the dealership and was weary of who's working on your car, but man these guys are great and do a wonderful job.I'm coming Back Every time.Update September 2023.I came in to get three services done to maintain my fluids and they did all three for under $300 including oil change under an hour.Love this place. Only thing I did not like is that I was recommended to replace all four shocks.... Even though I just replaced my rear shocks at the same place lol.But I understand like they have to upsell everything.

I usually go to the Frisco location but decided to give the Prosper location a chance this time and I m happy that I did. Arash was great to deal with and when I picked up my vehicle he informed me the cost was actually less than the initial quote! Will definitely take all my cars here from now on.

Really terrible experience, paid $304 for my brake sensor to be fixed and it wasnt fixed instead they asked for additional cash to fix it, told the consultant they my brake was recently fixed just the sensor is what i need to fix, came back after long hours my car was parked outside and they were working on other cars. I will never visit there again. Wasted hard earned money with zero service. They just wanted to ripe me off because i was told that the brake crack or whatever might or might not take off the warning on dashboard why fix what i didnt ask for and what wasnt the issue, then asking for more money to fix the sensor which i came for. Too bad did car alignment too not sure what they did still looks like ut wasnt done properly.

After trying many different places for car repairs and maintenance, I've finally found the one and only place I'll bring my car.This review is years overdue, but every single time I come here they've been great. I've never had any issues with the work they've done. They've never tried to upsell me on things I don't need. The whole team is super friendly and accommodating, and they once discovered, and then stayed late to fix, a dangerously bent strut the night before I had to make a long drive to take my mom in for her heart surgery.These guys are awesome and have always done right by me, and have absolutely gone the extra mile when it counted most.Special shout out to Arash, who always has a welcoming demeanor and a kind word to say. You can't go wrong with choosing this location!

I walked in for my state inspection as well as to get a quote on some new brake pads. I had previously been to kwik car where they provided a quote for the same service which would have been over $1.5k. Here I was able to get both services for under $700. I appreciated that Byron B. greeted me when I walked in and that he walked me to show me the actual wear on my brake pads and make recommendations. He was friendly and communicative and this was a great service. Instead of leaving with just the quote I went ahead and approved the services because the customer service was great. I will certainly be back

Glad I found this place. Rotated my tires and they were done in 15 mins. Charged me a very low amount. Talked to them about my sons car possibly needing new brake pads. Brought in a few days later and they did an excellent job on his car. Byran, the Manager, is very professional and everyone else there I talked too were also just as professional. Very efficient in what they do and do come across as honest. Not looking to bill you for what you really don't need. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing service. Was told by my dealership I would have to pay $200 for a diagnostic about a leak , I came here immediately and they told me there was no leak . Not a long wait time and very happy with my time here. Byron is great and I highly recommend this Brakes Plus to anyone .

Have been going to this place ever since moved into this area 3 years ago. The staff keeps changing but their service is always top notch. In my last two visits recently Byron was super friendly and informative. They did an excellent job fixing the brake pulsation and alignment issue that I was having.

Just got a brake service here. Byron was very friendly knowledgeable. He showed me the work that my car needed and provided a through explanation on parts and pricing. Everything went smoothly and the job was done in a timely manner.

Buyer Beware! They Are Scammers!!!I went in for an alignment service today and left with a a quote of things needed, "before the alignment could be done" and that it was dangerous for me to drive. EVERYTHING that was recommended had a 400% mark up.I took my car elsewhere and the service manager laughed at the almost $2000.00 quote. My car needed absolutely nothing but an alignment.It's disgusting that people are so desperate that they'd try to intimate through fear and manipulate the less knowledgeable into paying outrageous amounts of money.I would have given 0 stars if it was an option.

Got my car serviced at this place. Mr. Byron B. Took great care of my needs and is a very knowledgeable person. Great experience. Took my M3 in, figured I needed an alignment but was not 100% sure. They helped me sort it out, and shared some knowledge about what tires I need to assure I won t have issues in the future. Extremely friendly staff, will absolutely be coming back.

New to Dallas so I was a first time visitor. The experience was outstanding. I came for a 4 wheel alignment and brake flush that dealer told me I needed. Prices at Brakes Plus were half what dealer wanted to charge. Furthermore, the mechanic told me I didn t need a brake flush and that it could go another 5-10,000 miles before needed. Everyone was very friendly and honest. Needless to say I will be back.

I ve been coming here to get my truck serviced for a couple of years. Arash was the gentlemen at the front desk who took care of me today. He and the rest of the team are great. The waiting area is clean, the WiFi is free, and the coffee is always hot.

Called to see if they did state inspections (they did!! As most other places said no). I arrived expecting a long wait time not at all!! Staff was friendly and was quick with the state inspection. Highly recommend!!

Best prices, best service, bar none! I called a dozen shops in the area to get my A/C recharged, most wanted to keep the car for one day or more, run expensive diagnostics, and then charge some more (if they "find something"). The clerk said their guy is not certified to do inspection until next week. Then made an off hand comment I like your color but I don't like Tesla in general. Why bro being so discrimination, it is the few vehicles that is 100% made in USA, specifically Texas where he lives.
