I don t know what to say about an auto parts place where I walk in to buy a car battery and the auto parts community college graduate (Mensa?) thinks that s a perfect opportunity to school me on geo-political economics - didn t know they offered such classes connected to high school auto-shop. So this is a mixed review because I like the place and they treated me nice enough. Would be 5 stars if the goober behind the counter was NOT telling me how Trump being elected would have saved me $70 on the car battery. Goobers be trippin! Who doesn t want to walk in to buy a car battery and come out with vote for Trump propaganda?!? Why do people do that? Do your job. Let me figure out geo-politics on my own, like say at the car wash where they seem to know way more stuff about stuff. Goobers be trippin! Visited on 4/6/2024 at around 4pm.

Brenan, one of the managers helped me with a battery today. Was very informative and polite. In and out in minutes too. Overall perfect experience. I highly recommend this location!

Being a lady is tough especially not knowing much about cars lol. My battery kept failing on me so I came to my nearest auto zone with the help of KC and Brennan they were able to get my set up and going. Installed my battery and had me out in no time!! Thank you guys so much.

Writing this review for my husband he was at the AutoZone in Prosper for over two hours and Brennan Smith was able to help him and get him on his way. He was extremely helpful and provided great customer service!

I was searching for a particular make and model of battery. Having drawn a blank at several local stores in Frisco, the assistant at the Eldorado Pkwy Autozone had called Prosper to see if the "1 in stock" listed on their inventory really did exist. The answer came back negative.I was now out of ideas. I had to decide whether to spread my search further afield or settle for a lesser model. As I was leaving the Eldorado store, the assistant there suddenly came running out after me, yelling that Prosper had called back and said that "They had found one!"I raced for nearly an hour, through the rush-hour traffic, to get to Prosper, hoping (a) that I'd get there before my current battery failed, leaving me stranded, and (b) they really DID have the one I wanted.When I got there, I was met by a young gentleman named Chase, and he indeed showed me the battery in question. I was absolutely delighted! He said that he had taken the call from Eldorado Autozone and, having checked his stock, could indeed find none on the shelf. However, on returning to his desk, he had found one sitting on the counter, just delivered, and had immediately called Eldorado.We went out to my car and I watched. In my 70+ years, I have replaced more batteries than I've had hot dinners, but frankly, I just stood in amazement as I watched this young man replace the battery in what must be record time! And he did it so diligently, cutting no corners, double-checking every move and connection, and even installing terminal felt pads and greasing (most neatly) the terminals.Chase is a wonderful young man. He is extremely knowledgeable, thoroughly diligent, capable, and very friendly, while always remaining extremely polite and professional. He is a true credit to Autozone and this store in particular.

Every time I come here someone addresses me right as I walk in and offers to help. I've worked with just about every staff person and they are all very helpful and efficient. Rare to see this kind of customer service today. This store has converted me to AutoZone from O'Reilly's!

David and the Manager were amazing. David helped us change our battery and then realized we needed an alternator. Thanks to amazing neighbors and this team for all the help, everything is fixed and we are on to our next city in Texas. Thank you guys for being great people and providing excellent customer service.

Levy was the picture-perfect example of phenomenal customer service! He went above and beyond to find a battery in Durrant, swapped out my battery under the warranty, diagnosed the culprit as the alternator while also collaborating with a local auto shop. He even volunteered to take my car keys to the shop if needed. He didn't let barriers stand in his way and was motivated to find solutions.Tate was also a fantastic associate there who swapped out batteries, tested it, helped push my car into a parking space, and let me leave my car overnight until it could be towed. Upon request, he recommended a local shop and even provided me with their business card.Unfortunately as a woman, I have had past auto business experiences where I've been swindled, upcharged, and treated condescendingly by unethical charlatans. This experience has renewed my faith that good, honest people still exist and are working hard in the service industry today.

Uh, no. This is store is not setting the standard for customer service. I don't know who is writing some of these reviews. Just stop in during the morning hours with more than a simple purchase then tell me they are excellent at customer service. @AutozoneCorporate Please improve the training for new hires as well as training for managers on how to both treat new hires and customers that new hires are attempting to serve. Bizarre attitude flare-ups including from the managers.I have had a much better experience from one of the evening employees. Wish I had his name as I would like to give a shout out. I think you'll recognize him pretty quickly considering the debris field some of the others are leaving behind. It's making it easy for him to shine. All the best. I'll continue to shop at O'Reilly Auto Parts when I can.

I have to brag on the store manager Earnest that was more than helpful today. I ll save you the story of my issue and just state that Earnest went absolutely beyond his job duties to assist. He was not only courteous and informational, but did not make me feel the least bit bad about asking for his help. He took the initiative and I can honestly say that I ve never had that experience out of any of the AutoZone visits that I ve had over the years. I truly hope his Superior sees this review and if so, please know that you have yourself one hell of an employee. Treat him well. Give this guy a raise!

Friendly and knowledgeable people with a well stocked store. The manager Evan is so nice and knowledgeable. He was able check my battery and found the new battery I needed and even installed it for me! I am beyond thankful for the amazing customer service!

Went there twice in a week to get battery for 2 vehicles. Staff was great and helpful. Jerry helped with what I needed. He was helpful and friendly.Had bad experience with Auto Zone many years ago in Frisco and have not been back to Auto Zone since.This location seems to restore my faith in Auto Zone.

Review for store at 1340 N Preston Rd. I frequently shop at AutoZones but this particular one has the worst and most unfriendly service I have seen. Came and asked to do a return on a commercial account and was rudely sent my way bc my commercial account was not with that store. This had never happened before at other stores but also there are more friendly ways to tell someone off, even if what one is being told is bs, I d say. Last time I ever visit that store, that is for sure.

Zach is awesome. Helped me with my Tahoe battery, which died this morning. He tested the battery, then checked my warranty. He was able to replace the battery for me - on the spot, and get off to work quickly. We had a lot of laughs during the process. Great experience.

Thank Goodness for Auto Zone!I had been pumping gas a Kroger when my battery had died! Thanks to this new location I was able to drive over after getting jumped off and get a new battery! On top of that Dylan was so kind and easy going. I know zero about cars and he was able check my battery and found the new battery I needed and even installed it for me! I am beyond thankful for the amazing customer service! Thank you Dylan!

My truck died today in the Kroger area parking lot and a very nice gentleman came to the rescue. We couldn t reach my truck with regular jumper cables so he brought over his handheld battery pack (which everyone should have) and got it started within two minutes. We then drove over where he checked my current battery and while everything seemed ok with it, he went ahead and replaced it for us. We also purchased the portable device he used. I highly recommend this Auto Zone and will certainly go there from now on for any future needs.

Car battery had died (long story) in the late afternoon. Searched around and found this new store had opened, with the battery I needed in stock. Called to confirm, and stopped by at 830pm, and they close at 9pm! It was late, but the guys there were awesome, made conversation while I checked out, and pleasure to work with. Will definitely be stopping back since its so close.

The manager Evan is so nice. I purchased windshield wipers and realized when I tried to install them that my car didn t have the hook I was used to for the past 15 years. When I went to exchange them, he helped me figure out which windshield wipers had the adapter I need for my car and showed me how to install them, so I could it myself in the future. He even discounted the wipers because they were more expensive than the ones I originally purchased.

This store if by far the cleanest and most well stocked. The employees it appears take pride in there store, in order to that you must have great management, in which they must. They seem to be knowledgeable in what they do, I over heard one clerk, say I'm not sure but will find out.I like that better than (I don't know or feed ya line of something)Great store and location.I" LL BE BACK

My new favorite AutoZone location. I came in yesterday morning to buy a car battery and Ernest not only gave me options on batteries and explained the warranty, but also installed the battery for me without me even asking. Great first impression of this location.

I got a washer stuck inside my 12mm socket and I went there to get another socket. Instead, the manager Michael & an associate Mateo was persistent in helping me getting the culprit out of my socket. THUMBS up on customer service here! They went above and beyond to help me.Whenever I need to buy something from Autozone, I will return to this location.
