We had a terrible experience with the service at Jiffy Lube in Princeton. My wife took her car in for an oil change, and the employee who assisted her was unable to determine the manufacturer-recommended oil for her vehicle. Despite her request for the recommended oil, they were having a stare down because he had no idea what to do. My wife called me on speaker and I told him use fully synthetic oil.After the oil change, my wife drove the car home, and I drove it later that evening. The car began to overheat and smoke while I was at the municipal center. I had the car towed to our regular service center in McKinney, where the mechanic discovered that the radiator cap had not been replaced after the fluid check at Jiffy Lube. Due to the overheating, the mechanic it may be wise to replace the thermostat to avoid future issues.We contacted Jiffy Lube and were informed that they would reimburse us for the repairs. However, it has been a week since our initial conversation, and we have not received a call back. Each time we visit the store, the manager states that he is unable to assist us and that the decision lies with the regional manager, which does not take calls nor does he have any contact information.I am disappointed with the lack of customer service and attention to detail demonstrated by Jiffy Lube. I believe that when a company makes a mistake, it is their responsibility to rectify the situation and take care of the customer. Unfortunately, Jiffy Lube has not demonstrated this commitment to customer satisfaction.I would strongly advise against using this particular Jiffy Lube location and recommend seeking alternative options for automotive services.

Experience was good. I got the teams names and I just want to say they did great. It was Cesar, Chris and a gentleman they called skinny. Usually other oil change places leave a mess of oil. But this time my driveway was clean. But 10/10 on the service. Really friendly as well. These young men deserve a raise and ASAP.

I wish I could remember the name of the gentleman who helped me out Ben, perhaps? He had light hair, maybe strawberry blonde? Maybe I m crazy.Anyways, my experience started by being greeted shortly after exiting my vehicle and well before I got to the door, by a gentleman coming from the garage asking how he could help me. Before we made it to the door he had my keys and was getting to work! He basically valet me from the car to the door. Really rolled out the red carpet. When I walked in, I was greeted by the gentleman behind the counter. I was surprised (and pleased, tbh - wasn t feeling too chatty) by how little information he required of me. Since I had been there before, they have some kind of system that pulls up all the information on your car. Shortly after they got to work, the behind the counter gentleman remerged from the garage and took me through essentially, a digital presentation showing the areas of my car checked and identified with red and green markers signifying areas of concern. At first I aaaalmost did a silent eye roll because I assumed he was going to come up with hundreds of dollars of repairs required but, nope! Aside from what I came for, he had one small recommendation (some air filter I think) and actually my air filter to show me. I didn t know if I needed it or not, I know nothing about cars, but I was like heck yeah, get me a new one of those! Simply due to his superior customer service. I texted my husband This Jiffy Lube is AWESOME! . I ve never been so happy to spend $200 on my car . I left feeling like those are my boyz. They take care of me! I guess this is your 30 s, huh? They gave me back my car after two hours with the brakes disabled. I was only getting an oil change.I simply went in for an oil change and to have the engine air filter replaced on 01/20/24 at 9 am. There were two technicians working at that time. I have their names, but will not call them out directly out on this.During the 2 HOUR process of "topping off fluids", they took it upon themselves to mess with the brake fluid. I had just had them install all new brake pads and rotors about 7 months ago, so going anywhere near my brake system was completely unnecessary. I noticed after the technician tried to pull my car out of the bay (2 hours later, with the blocks still in place to prevent it from moving) that he was constantly testing the brakes and then did a quick drive around the parking lot while still repeatedly testing the brakes. He came in for my payment while leaving my car running and the driver side door open for me and told me to let him know if I notice any difference in how my brakes handled.I sure did! I went to put my foot on the brake to put the car in gear and the brake pedal went to completely to the floorboard with no resistance. I knew there was no way I could safely drive my car (keep in mind I am about to hop on 380 also) with the brakes not working properly like this. I pulled around to get it back to a bay so they could fix what they messed up, and I almost hit another customers car because I could not stop. I got out and did yell at the technician that my car will not stop, and the brakes were not working now. He said, "I noticed that. I think we got air in the line." They KNOWINGLY gave me back my car to drive off in with the brake system not working properly. The brakes weren't "spongy" or "soft", they were virtually nonexistent.They did fix the issue they created. I will never return here.I am strictly writing this review for other customers as a heads up. Be VERY wary if you decide to go here.Service: Oil change

Blake and the staff at this location are all great dudes with great hearts!. I always get my cars inspected here, and it's always super quick and efficient. I'd definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for a state inspection. Thank y'all for all that you do! Merry Christmas!

I was WAY overcharged for a battery replacement (probably because I'm a woman), only to find out later that they hadn't tightened the battery cables. My car wouldn't start after work as a result. I will NEVER come here again.

The Jiffy Lube in Princeton Texas is amazing. I got excellent customer service. They changed my oil , washed all of my windows, filled up my window washer, and checked all the air in my tires. Best car service anywhere..

Service guys were very knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Got us in quickly, took good care of us, were honest and trustworthy. Didn t try to sell us anything we didn t need. Would definitely recommend. FYI We got our state inspection, and some air filters.

I don't usually write reviews--but I had to this time. I want to publicly thank Noette for excellent customer service. I drove in late Sunday afternoon with an issue that could have been serious, but one that could be easily addressed. Truthfully, most people wouldn't have interrupted their work that late in the day to help. Noette did, and this is one little old lady who is very grateful! Kudos to Jiffy Lube!

I have been a long-time Jiffy Lube customer on 4 cars so far. However, my wife took our car in for the state inspection and the technician failed us for insufficient tire tread depth. We left and measured the tires, and all four were well above the legal 2/32" required by TxDOT. In fact, 3 of our tires are less than 2 years old and 1 tire less than 1 year old.We took the car to "Strickland Brothers 10 Minute Oil Change" down the road and we passed inspection without any mention of the tire tread depth.Unfortunately, it seems some of the technicians at this location care more about gaining commission on services/parts sold than they do of providing quality service.

This wasn t the best experience I ve had here. I ve been here numerous times since they opened and I don t plan on returning. The personnel has changed and the service has dropped dramatically. I didn t even trust that they did the services to my car. After spending over $300, I really hope they serviced my car.

Man, I really can't emphasize enough just how much these guys helped me out today. Totally went out of their way to accommodate me, and even on short notice given my situation, too. I'll be coming back here for inspections from here on out. They don't play games or mess around, they treat ya right.

My wife took her Truck in today to get a tire patched up and the guys were extremely lazy. They told my wife that the bolts were stripped and they were not able to get the tire off. Obviously my wife being frustrated now bc she thinks there is an issue w the lug nuts and she gets home I get the 4 way tire iron and boom lug nut comes off w ease.. These guys want more pay with less work bc they are lazy. Screw that, won t get me or my family s business ever.

Absolutely the second worse service I've ever gotten. They only specialize in making vehicles leak. Had to be told 6 times to change the fuel filter, and even though I asked and then told them to stay out of my vehicle they did not. I personally feel like they owe me a refund, and should pay for a wash and any damages that my vehicle may have incurred do to their negligence. Could not tighten filter all the way or drain plug, I'm absolutely sickened by there performance.

Go absolutely anywhere else for your state inspection, they ll turn you away if your windshield wiper fluid is low. Exceptionally bad customer service and that s saying something for the automotive industry.

Kinda frustrating to try to pay for an oil change at this place. However people nice and had a district or regional manager do it. Just an added hassle is allI actually quit going to this location for a time after an oil change I asked for an inspection and was told that one of my fluids was just under the minimum. The receipt stated they added fluids. I hope they pay their technicians enoughService: Oil change

Please do not go here. My 19 year old son went there to get an oil change and ask for them to look around the car brakes and what not. They told him he needed new brakes at over 900.00 dollars we said no. They could not even give him a quote had to go to the back with a few employees to see how bad they can take advantage of a teenage and give him an enormous quote. Took the car to fire stone and the brakes are good no need to change. Will never go back there they take advantage of customers especially younger drivers.

Went for a state inspection. They were fast and efficient. The guys were polite and professional. I ve experienced other places that have tried to over charge and tell me something else was wrong with my car but Jiffy s only worked on what I asked and didn t try to oversell me on anything else that I didn t need.

It's disheartening that the only option to leave a review is by giving a single star. Today, I had my first visit to the Princeton Jiffy Lube for a state inspection. Unfortunately, I was informed that my inspection would fail due to my driver side window not rolling down. I explained to the attendant that this isn't part of the safety checklist, which is clearly outlined on the Texas Department of Public Safety website, but they didn't seem to care. Disappointed, I decided to leave and headed up Hwy 380 to Princeton Car Care. The staff there was incredibly friendly and efficient, completing my inspection in under 30 minutes, and my vehicle passed with no issues. The best part was that they only charged me $18! It's amazing, right? From now on, I know exactly where I'll be taking my vehicle for all its needs. Thanks to Jiffy Lube for showing me the better option for my patronage.

The person who serviced my vehicle didn t seem knowledgeable about what type of oil change I should get. He asked me how often I m going to get my oil change instead of letting me know when my next oil change would be. Also, he did not give me a sticker to put in my vehicle with the mileage for when I would need to bring my vehicle back. My receipt said that all of my fluids were checked and filled but they were not. Will not be coming back here. I would think after spending $85 dollars my fluids would be topped off and I would get a sticker.Service: Oil change

Came in to use coupon given for previous service, was asked what type of oil, showed previous sicker and asked do you have that and they said yes. I asked how much and was quoted $99, I replied the cost went up. Nod given. When I went to pay I was then told they used synthetic as that's the best and I ask the price of the none synthetic high mileage and was given the $79 price I was expecting. I then commented that I didn't ask for synthetic and I got the nod again. They were so good to me my 1st visit I just used my coupon and went onService: Oil change
