I own a Cadillac DTS with 216,000 plus miles on her. I do all the work on it myself because I have dealt with popular shops and one totaled out my 05 Jaguar xj8L after getting 3600+ out of me. This particular time I decided to change the gasket on the transmission pan because I saw seepage. After I got done replacing it I noticed it was hemorrhaging ATF. So I had it towed here and it her serviced. Mr Jeff was an absolute delight to work with. She ran beautifully. Being in customer service all of my working life. I can say Jeff and Miles went above and beyond to take care of my baby. She moves like a shadow again. They even took care of an issue with the pan and charged me nothing. I was happy to do business with them and will again

I would like to say THANK YOU to Jeff at the Porter location. I had several failed attempts to correct my transmission with the Jones Rd location. I contacted several of the other locations, Jeff s location is the ONLY location that was willing and did help out! He also followed up with me to make sure things were working properly.

called and asked if they could check my truck with a possible transmission issue they said yes bring it in at 2pm and we'll check for you .Arrived at approximately 156 walked in,a guy was on the phone and gave me a gesture that he'll be right with me and I nodded my head and sat down and waited about 10 minutes later I get up and see the guy just sitting there ,so I just walked out and left. WASTE OF MY TIME ....NOW I know where never to GO and there website seems like they're very professional . WRONG maybe it was a blessing in disguise , so I just went to another transmission shop where they actually seemed to want my business, so I say if your looking for a place that cares about their potential customers this is not the place.

Went and had my transmission serviced on my 2019 Chevrolet 1500 done at their shop. My truck takes special fluid. Jeff and his crew had everything I needed when I arrived. Service was in and out great service great mechanics very clean shop. They also brought to my attention the other services. My truck needed at no additional cost went ahead and had them replace my serpentine belt Shop will recommend

Had been told by another shop that i needed a new rear end on my Yukon. They went through my truck and took pictures of the inside of the rear differential and showed me that it was fine and all i need was axle seals and a brake job. They saved me from a $4000 bill and did what was actually needed and my bill was less than $2000. Max is not going to sell you something you don t need. Rodney the mechanic is going to treat your vehicle like it was his own. Great people great service. February 2024Had to use them again and this week. Had multiple problems with my Yukon. Needed A/C work, check engine light, tune up on and had a rough start issue. Jeff had the mechanic look it over and even found a leaking transmission line. So glad that these guys are so thorough when handling my vehicle. Im going to be traveling to a remote part of Arizona for work and they looked my truck over like i was their wife or daughter. I feel very safe leaving town after they looked my truck over and got her back up to specs. Mr Jeff is The best person I ve ever met I m in a lot of money problems and he was such a help. I m now able to go to work because of the fine work he and his men have done for me I thank god for the blessing he has given me with this shop. If you ever have any car problems please do not overlook this shop they are the best. Say Josh sent you and man will he give you the story of a life time thanks again to Jeff and all the guys at my transmission shop y all are the best

Had my f250 transmission rebuilt here a year ago under old management. Had a few problems that wasn t addressed when I went back the shop had changed management and the manager Jeff honored my warranty. They rebuilt again and boy I can tell the difference. I drove for a week and put the truck to work before I wrote this review and it deserves the 5 stars.

Hayden and miles have been more then exceptional on all aspects. They made me feel comfortable which is a big thing being a woman in this world a lot of shops take that as an advantage but these gentleman kept me very informed though the entire process of getting my vehicle looked at. I will definitely be coming back again for all repairs. If you have any problems and you re unsure if you can trust a shop, you should seriously consider this shop for your next repair. Happy customer here and now a lifetime customer as well.

These guys are GREAT. Brought my 2014 ram 1500 to them and it was an absolute MESS. Tony was nice enough to give me a ride home when I dropped it off. The previous mechanic had made the worst engine and transmission repair I have ever seen. Hayden got on the case and went way above the call of duty by pulling every string he could to help me with what I wanted done to the truck. They helped with financing and the repair that would have otherwise been unaffordable to me. Hayden kept me constantly updated and they never pushed my truck aside to finish other jobs. I want to thank the entire team for their uncommon work ethic and incredible attention to detail. I may update this later with pictures and other things. Jeff, Miles, and the entire staff of My Transmission Experts, have been overboard awesome folks, I was treated with awesome kindness as they fixed my transmission on my 33ft. RV. I highly recommend this place to anyone experiencing transmission problems in Texas!

Another Update still no car its been lie after lie! I am going to say they have stolen my car it went in on Aug 3rd and this is unacceptable Never take your car there ever! it has 6 weeks and my car has not been repaired. Manager is refusing to fix it. Scott and Phillip are trying to help all they can. I think they are the only good thing about this place. Broke down after transmission repaired there. I was stuck away from home! Now its been there 2 weeks with tons of excuses. The car still sits in parking lot where they hit the fence with my bumper. Never offered to pay to rent a car so now 1,000 in rental fees and no car yet! About call a lawyer

10 year customer. I'm rude because I wanted to do my own research on a car that is irreplaceable and has extreme sentimental value to me? I'm rude for wanting to talk with the original person I've already built a relationship with and trust? I guess so. I don't normally do reviews, but to go from being treated with respect and outstanding customer service with Red, Thomas, and Max to this? I see a ton of positive reviews for Max recently. He's no longer with the company. Clearly, the standards aren't the same anymore. Hopefully, this helps someone avoid expecting to be treated as a valued customer when that's clearly not the case anymore. 10 year customer = no longer a customer.Service: Transmission

I want to take time to thank JEFF & MYLES FOR ALL THE HELP TO FIX MY TRUCK. THEY HELP ME THOUGHT THE WHOLE REBUILD OF MY TRANSMISSIONL.THEY DID THE BEST TO SAVE ME MONEY&MY TRUCK COME BACK CLEAN.AND THE STAFF SUPER FRIENDLY. MY TRANSMISSIONS ALSO REBUILD MY 2010 RANGER AND MY CHEVY THEY WORK GREAT . THANKS ALOT GUYS FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND THE RIDE HOME.

UPDATE 08SEP2023 - Still going strong. :-)ORIGINAL:Great communication and integrity.I worked with Max, he explained the options and process from the beginning.I shopped several transmission shops before settling with My Transmission & Auto and I do not regret it.They repaired, rebuilt, test drove, etc.When we picked it up, we immediately drove from Houston to Kentucky with zero issues. Maintained 70-80mph, highway, city, real smooth.I d trust them with other vehicles

Overall great customer service & experience at my transmission experts! Thanks to Max & mechanics, car was fixed in just a few days whereas leaving it at the dealership would ve taken more than 4 weeks. if you need anything transmission wise, this is the place to go!

His welcoming demeanorto me after having a warranty issue, relieved my concerns and calmly explained the the warranty and process for my repair. I really like this auto repair shop! Mr. Max is very honest and hard working. I had maintenance done on my transmission. It s a crowded place because they do such great work. The only problem I had was when someone hit my car and did some damage. I can not say it was their fault, it may have been a customer.But, this shop is going to be the place to take your car for full service maintenance done by honest people! Thank you so much!

Had my transmission rebuilt here in 2021 and a shifter cable replaced in 2023. Both times, Max and Hayden did a really good job explaining the whole process to me and had a quick turnaround time.For the rebuild, my car had broken down after Christmas, and they quickly fixed it and had me driving again by New Years. They even stayed 40 minutes after closing so I could pick up my car. Great people to work with.

This is worst experience of my life and any other reading this and haven't experience worst one yet please take your vehicle to MY Transmission expert I dropped my car in march with transmission issue and picked 4 times but every time I picked not just transmission still an issue but in addition to couple other issue, today 27 Aug I went to pick my car up thinking everything will be fixed and this worst dream of my life is over but no this time they refused to do anything with my car transmission light is still ON AC isn't working because there is no serpentine belt on the compressor and other one was snapped too, while they change the alternator on my car. they damage my car wheel and front bumper, they lifted my car wrong and damage side skirts I am sharing some pictures so you guys have an idea how bad it can be taking your vehicle to them. I am going to sue them for all this time they wasted of mine in addition to 3500 I paid for to get transmission fixed and not mention all other damages they did to my car.Services: Clutches & transmissions service & repair, General repairs & maintenance, Transmission repair

Absolute pleasure working with these guys. Super knowledgeable and friendly, will walk you through any work they are going to perform. I would say they do good work, but we have had so many visits back for waranty its not even funny. They fit you in for service without hassle and the price is good, but the manager is an absolutly miserable human being to deal with or even hear other people talk to. I would steer clear.
