I ve been to hundreds of auto parts places all over Houston as well as the state of Texas. I ve never experienced such amazing customer service from a young lady named Lulu there. Her Customer Service is a 10 out of a 10. I ve been in sales my entire life and never experienced Customer Service the way I have with her. She definitely deserves employee of the year recognition as well as an advancement the company. Auto Zone needs more Lulu s in this world. Thank you Lulu for your commitment to 100% guaranteed customer satisfaction. Each and every day. It shows. Thank you for lighting up me and my family s day with true dedication joy and commitment. The manager Colton is amazing with customer service, I was in a bind with a battery problem. He saw that I was in a rush and expedited my service. Made sure I had everything I needed and went out of his way to make sure my food truck business was good to get to our event. It s rare to see this type of customer service.

Albert was very knowledgeable & helpful. If it wasn t for him I would ve had to make 4/5 extra visits to auto zone. Most of the other associates are unaware of vehicles & it shows.

So ended up there because my check engine light came on. I was to be the was the next person in line upon my arrival and after waiting for about 15 minutes it was my turn, but while i was waiting the line got a bit long. Well the guy was like can I get the line down a few people then I will get someone right out there to help you. So I'm like fine and went out to my car to wait....I am not kidding when I say literally two minutes later a guy with the diagnostic machine comes out with a guy and goes to the car next to mine, which got there after me I might add. When they were done, I was like I was out here waiting for y'all to do that to my car and I was here before this gentleman. The employee in passing was like "uh huh ma'am," then walked on inside. VERY DISRESPECTFUL. Not sure if it was because I am a WOMAN or he was just a Jerk. Will never return and will never recommend to anyone.

Robert Mireles was the associate to help me and he genuinely saved my life.When the store didn't have the tools I needed through their 'tool borrow program' he went to his car and got his personal tool kit to help me. He then spent 40 minutes helping me take apart my dashboard, pull out my entire radio, just to help me access a broken hot/cold dial. When we discovered that I needed a part that they didn't have in store he showed me how to manually adjust the hot/cold through my glovebox so I wouldn't be without heat or cold until the parts came in.I have never in my life had an employee put in that much time and care to assist me. It is only because of him that I will be able to use my car in the time it takes for me to get this part and now I know how to fix it when it comes in, because he explained the process the entire step of the way.I expected to have to walk out of that store with no heat or cold because I couldn't find the tool I needed and instead he went above and beyond to make sure I left with a solution.Auto-Zone will now be my go-to for anything I need relating to my car simply because of Robert and his help.

I switched back to using Auto Zone as my primary auto parts store and I wished I would've done it sooner. The only thing that lacks is the on the floor assistance or employees with common knowledge of the products they sell. But there isn't much they can do about that. Good help is hard to find these days.So my suggestion is know what you are shopping for, use the mobile app, order online and they will have it ready for you to grab & go.

Do not order parts from these people. I went to the Porter, Tx autozone to buy a lift gate support for my jeep on 12-18-23. They did not have one but said they would get it from their hub. I called and stopped by several times. I was then contacted by the store and told that they did not have the part and for me to come by for a refund. When I got to the store they checked their computer and said they did not know what I was talking about. I am disputing this with my bank because I will not pay for parts that they never provide.

I came in for a windshield repair kit. I got the last one. They usually have what I need and then some. I recommend the self checkout if you don't need something specific from behind the counter. I'm so used to touch screens I made a fool of myself so don't be me and find the mouse lmao.

My check engine light came on today. I stopped by the Porter AutoZone to get it checked out. Once there, there were 4 people ahead of me. I patiently waited for my turn in line. My turn came and was asked to shuffle to a register by Jose Navarro. I told him what I needed and he said I would be helped as soon as he helped the rest of the customers behind me. There were 6 customers waiting to be helped behind me. There were 2 regular employees and a manager (John O.) At the counters. I waited by the door and 2 more customers came in. Waited for Jose to help me but nothing. I got back in n line and waited my turn again in line. I was finally at the counter again and had the Mgr. John O. I asked if it was customary to put someone needing a check light checked behind everyone in line. I explained that I had waited in line for my turn, but was told I needed to wait for everyone behind me to be helped. He said Yes for safety reasons. But since everyone had been helped Jose could assist me now. Jose checked my vehicle in all of 2 minutes. I don't remember seeing a disclaimer on their sign or in the commercial that you can have your vehicle check engine light checked but you needed to wait for all other customers to be helped before they would assist you. What terrible customer service. I got the info on the parts I needed to buy. I drove to O'REILLY'S and gave the my business.

Just called for the second time and gentleman who answered didn't even bother to ask reason on our call. Waited for more than 20 minutes and no one even bothered to come back to let us know anything. At this point just stop answering your phones, Very unprofessional!

Placed an order online and was told I would get an email notifying me my parts were in. Finally called at 4pm. Was told they were there. Asked why I didn't get a notification. They said we're busy with customers and the phones. They were busy up front. Maybe the MANAGER could notify orders for pickup! I'll use O'Reilly next time since they don't consider online orders customers!

I went to buy windshield wipers for my car and didn't know how to put them on? Asked the young blond boy if he could put them on for me because I didn't know how. He said that their was noone it was to late! It was 8:00pm. As I was struggling to put them on another employee comes out and helps another customer and never asked if I needed help. I was never rude and I was polite so there was no reason for them to treat a paying customer that way. After 25 years of me and my family using Auto Zone we will NEVER go back. We spend thousands a month in diesel parts and vehicle parts a month with you guys. It's a shame.

Good luck getting someone on the phone. Been waiting on hold 20+ minutes. I guess they rather you waste your gas driving up there to find out they don't have the part you need. Terrible how they don't care to come back to the phone for you.

I had a problem with my battery and Albert was so professional and kind to come out and check it and sure nuff it was bad. After I purchased the new battery Albert was kind enough to put it in for me inspite if the heat outside. Albert also got me a chair to sit inside while he installed the battery. Thank you
