All around great service! The alternator went out on my vehicle all of a sudden. Rudy's Trans & Autocare arranged for a tow, gave me an upfront quote, and my car was running again by the end of the day. Reasonable prices! Professional and friendly Customer service. Rudy's is now my go to for all my Auto care.

Had my transmission rebuilt at Rudy's Transmission in Porter in March of this year. I appreciate the quality of the work as well as the daily updates and professionalism provided by Thomas. I used Rudy's previously on a different car and was very satisfied with the work on that occasion as well. I would recommend Rudy's for major or minor transmission issues.

I had fantastic service. Very good knowledgeable staff at this location. My truck went in on Tuesday and I got it back on Friday . I just took it back for a check up after 10 days and everything checked out good.

Spent over 5 GRAND ON A VECHILE FOR REPAIRS STILL HAVE PROBLEMS AND WAS TOLD THEY WONT WORK ON THE VECHILE ANYMORE.DONT USE THIS TRANSMISSION SHOP FOR ANYTHING. NEW OWNERS DONT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Took my vehicle here to get the transmission rebuilt and not even a month later it went back out. They claimed they put better parts in it but now they say I need a whole new transmission. Either they don t know what they re doing or they re screwing people. Been waiting over 3 weeks past the date they said they would have it ready, they seem not care and say it s out of their hands.

Extremely Rude over the phone, talk to me as if I wasn t mechanically inclined. To be honest their mechanics there need to trained better, if they take 4 hours to take off a single part and charge $110 an hour to do so. I m guessing by the looks of the junk yard in front, those are all cars kept from their clients ( mechanic lean ) who couldn t pay for the ridiculous hourly rate. Do yourself a favor and find a 5.0 rate transmission shop, because this shop is definitely far from it and I agree the positive reviews are probably paid for .

Great job at the shop - Rudy was quite helpful, looked at my car right away when I had just left another shop on 494 that I had an appointment for and then upon arrival they told me the person didn't work there any longer and no appointment was set.I went to Rudy's and they looked at my car right away. Brought it in the next week, they fixed it, even staying a little after close to be sure it was finished. Running like new now.

Not coming here again. Took my truck to get worked on as it was driving kind of rough. Rick said my truck only needed maintenance. So i trusted him, got all 16 spark plugs changed, air filter but issue was never address. Got truck back and truck still has problems. I brought truck back and they kept it for an additional 2 days and couldn't find what the problem was. These guys waisted my money ($600 for maintenance) and more importantly my time. Did I mention service sucks, they didn't call me to update me I had to call them, and when I did they said let me call you back and never did. These guys do not know how to diagnose vehicles, unprofessional and incompetent. DO NOT GO HERE.

Worst Transmission Shop Ever. DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be screwed out of your money multiple times. They don't honor their warranty & your vehicle may or may not run correctly or at all when leaving their shop after you spend all your money their.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

The transmission they rebuilt and installed in July 2020 was bad in February. 6,000 miles later. The whole property looks like a junk yard.. and if you read their positive reviews. You can tell they are fake. One reviewer says (This is just what I was craving ) its an auto shop. Not a snack bar.. and other reviewers I've noticed, only ever give 5 reviews... there is a community where you can buy fake reviews. And clearly Rudy subscribes to this service. Don't go there. They won't fix anything but the problem of you having money in your wallet...Service: Transmission

Great customer service... decent prices.. got my transmission rebuilt. I took it to another place and they were trying to charge me an arm and a leg call them up they went to the shop I took it picked it up and put it all back together with a way less with the other shop was charging me and with way more warranty

Amazing work! I purchased an s2000 with an clutch problem. It went out on me within the first 40 miles that I had driven the vehicle. I had it repaired at the dealerships expense at a shop that they recommended. HOWEVER, within the same week I was having issues AGAIN with the clutch. I took it too Rudy's and with some of the best customer service experience I've ever had,(I worked retail for 4 years) they had my vehicle road ready within 48hrs. I've been working on vehicles my entire life and have always hated taking my cars to shops. With that being said, I wouldnt trust anyone else with my cars.

I needed my truck back in a hurry. They had my transmission rebuilt in less than 2 days. I've had no issues with it at all. They were even willing to stay open later so I could get it picked up!

I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT COMING HERE for any type of transmission work. I payed $1700 with one year or 12,000 miles warranty for a transmission rebuild and they only did a patch and replaced my clutches 1 and 2 gear when I payed for a rebuild. I then ended up putting 17,000 miles in my REBUILT TRANSMISSON and then went out on me again but this time it was the 3 and 4 clutches along with a lock ring that engraved it self into the shell of the transmission Luckily the guys I took it to this time were able to save the shell. I then went to Rudy shop to see how much they were going to charge me to do it again when in the first place it shouldn t have gone out as fast as it did and they said they will do it for $1000 I said that s ridiculous when they were the ones who fixed it the first time around if they did it right the first time then it wouldn t have gone out as easily so I ended up going to another shop and payed $1500 for the rebuild, oil pressure sensor and the rear main seal. I had my mechanic and his builders plus another mechanic for a different shops look at the transmission and they were very upset with Rudy shop and what they did. The people who did the transmission rebuild the second time showed me everything and non of it look even close to being fairly new I was very upset. Rudy people will scams you rip you off and won t do the job right If anyone is looking for a transmission repair go else where not here

Charged me $1,200 and it was the CRAPPIEST JOB OF MY LIFE, I don't know anything about cars and I could've fixed it better than they did!!! Had to take it to another mechanic who charged me $500 but got the job done! DO NOT (I REAPEAT NOT) go here! Kept my car for two weeks and didn't even fix crap! If I could give it negative stars I would!!!

This shop is honest, dependable. They get the job done right the 1st time. Great reasonable pricing their work is good garenteed. they always try and help you find a solution. With great attitude and professionalism. I am truly happy with the job they did on my toyota celica I honestly refer this shop to everyone 100%

I have never posted anything before, but felt the need to do so here. I went in there on Saturday morning to get a transmission flush. Rick was as nice a guy as you will ever meet. Especially in the industry he represents. Most tranny people want to drop your pan and will find something wrong with your vehicle. The service cost was less than I had expected and they did the work while I waited. 30 minutes later I was on my way. I found myself a new transmission shop and as long as it's run the same way. I will continue to use them.

People can say what they want. I have been using this shop for over 5 years and have not once been missed around. The people and very nice and is great priced. And I will say it's a true shop they do stand behind there work and will fix or repair it under warranty if there is one. I fully trust them 100 percent. A great shop.........

My 2007 Tundra with 68000 miles started having transmission issues. $4000 later it runs great. While I hated to spend the money, these guys answered all of my questions and even showed me the data sheets. Toyota Corp admitted to the defect but my truck is 14 years old and far past warranty. These guys were honest and did exactly what I asked. I would absolutely bring another vehicle to them.

Most reviews about this place are negative and i just took my explorer there for a rebuild and it kicks pretty hard well they test drove it and said they dont feel anything that it runs good. YES they are no good just like all the reviews say youll waste your time and money here..GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

Long time mechanic this man started from A+Transmission's. In 1989 then latter opened his own shop in New Cany Tx.'s no matter when i call he still knows who i am this is an excellent thing to no your customers and long time friends .like this exelent mechsnic and shop.go check him out.

I brought my Yukon here, after having a bad experience at Jim's Transmissions in New Caney. Jim "supposedly" rebuilt my transmission. But after three separate visits there it still wasn't fixed! I got fed up and took it to Rudy's, where they were very sympathetic to my situation. He had the transmission dropped & opened up that very day. Turns out Jim had installed a "frankensteined" tranny with a torque converter & oil pump from a trail blazer, worn gears, and traces of silicone sealing the insides! I was shocked to say the least! So Rick ended up giving me a really good deal to fix the horror of a job that Jim had done. I ended up getting screwed out of $1500 from Jim's Transmissions, and learned a lesson.Thank you to Rick and all the guys at Rudy's Transmissions for fixing my truck and getting me back on the road!!
