We can t say enough great things about our Truck buying experience at Port Lavaca Ford. We drove four hours because we had heard such good things about this dealership. We are SO GLAD we made the trip! We were going just to look, but came home with a truck. Kevin (and the entire staff) made the process painless and a very positive experience. We got a great deal on our trade in, a very fair price on our beautiful new to us truck, and the customer service was the best we ve ever experienced. We will definitely make the drive from the Rio Grande Valley to Port Lavaca Ford for our next vehicle purchase. When other dealers won t value you as a customer, visit Port Lavaca Ford and ask for Kevin. You ll be SO GLAD you did!!!

Just purchased our beautiful new 2024 Ford this past weekend - didn't 'plan' for that but everything went smoothly and quickly we went with it! Big Mike made the process very easy. There is No high pressure sale with Mike. He Listened to what We wanted and it went great from there. We're pleased with the customer service, financed in our budget (thx David) and honestly it was the smoothest purchase we've experienced. Thank you PL Ford and Thank You Big Mike!

I have purchased 3 vehicles now from Port Lavaca Ford, Mr. Henderson has been my salesperson for all 3 purchases. He has always been very respectful to my wife and me. His knowledge of the vehicles I have purchased has been very helpful and he helped us get a great deal. He has always followed up each sale with phone calls to make sure everything with the vehicles is working to our satisfaction.I would like to add that the service department has been very helpful with our vehicles when I had any questions about them.

Highly recommend! My Kia was totaled in a car accident and I went to another dealership and they were giving me such a hard time despite documentation from insurance regarding paying off original car. Went to PL Ford and explained my situation to Kevin Henderson and within hours they were able to help me out and get me back on the road again. Definitely will go back for a future purchase!!

Terrible service and from the previous reviews I see that this is a recurring complaint. We recently had a truck dropped off at service with zero transmission problems, after picking it up and driving it for a few hours we took it back to learn that the transmission needs to be replaced. Later we found out that the mechanic damaged the transmission while replacing another part, and they refused to fix the transmission that they broke. We are taking legal actions to fix this but I just wanted to leave this review to prevent this from happening to someone else.

Hieu was the most relaxed and experience-enhancing, non-pushy car salesman I have ever dealt with, and this was the third vehicle I've purchased from a dealer in my time. He went above and beyond to make sure the vehicle has everything I needed and to ensure the sale went smoothly, including getting me a fabulous deal with trade-in. Luke was who I dealt with for my financing options, and he provided the same top-notch service as Hieu. Thank you both SO much for ensuring my experience was positive and I left feeling like a winner!

My 2017 f-250 transmission and others things went terribly wrong while pulling a travel trailer to port lavaca, my wife and I got a hold of dealership to schedule it to be put in shopwhile we were there, we decided to just trade it in Felipe Martinez was a great help and very respectful of our situation and made sure we got into a truck that fit our needs before we left the dealership

One of those dealerships that once you buy they re done with you. Can t get Big Mike my salesmen to respond even though he s reading the text. Been trying to get my tag and no one can explain what they ve sent to NC to switch my tag over. Do yourself a favor and save yourself from headache if you re from out of town and go somewhere else.

I would not recommend this dealership. I took my car in to be serviced. When I received my car back they didn t secure the bottom cover under my car so it was dragging, it ended up breaking off. Then not even 5 months later it broke down on me in the middle of an intersection, my transmission gave out on me. I took it in to a different dealership to be diagnosed and they told me it was the part that Port Lavaca Ford fixed for me. Now my car is no longer driveable and I tried calling Port Lavaca Ford to complain about this situation and they told me that the dealership my car is at would have to contact their service manager. It s has been more than 2 weeks and I have not heard anything from Port Lavaca Ford. The dealership my car is at is still trying to get my car covered since I was not at fault. I am now going to be with out a car for a few months because of all the work that needs to be done to my car.

Texted, emailed and called at 9am to confirm car was available since was driving 120 miles on a Saturday. Received confirmation via all three methods car was available and I would be there in three hours. Arrived with title to my trade ready to make a deal and was told car was sold that morning. Sales manager didn t bother to come out office to apologize / anything got inconvenience. Lefts dealer not happy but received call saying that customer had not verified income so I went back. Went through the car worksheet only to find $2500 of add one the advertised price which was never mentioned. Waited again for another period of time and left.Rarely leave negative comments and the salesman did his best to remedy and very bad experience but it was out of his hands. I expected this from a big city dealer, not in Port Lavaca Ford. True waste of time and horrible experience

This is a very deceptive dealership. I reached out to this dealership for a very specific vehicle that was posted on their website. The internet sales rep assured me the vehicle was available and scheduled an appointment for me to come in the following morning. When I arrived, a different salesman informed me the vehicle had been sold a few days earlier and instantly started trying to sell me something else that wasn't even close to the vehicle I wanted. Moreover, the salesman kept walking off with my personal car keys so I couldn't just leave. It was only when he realized I wasn't going to be beaten by his sales game that he returned my keys. That being said, never, ever trust a dealership, specifically sales people that claim to be trustworthy.Charles Valis, Port Lavaca, Tx

The best car buying experience that I ever had!I bought my dream car from Port Lavaca Ford.Big Mike was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.I also had a very pleasant time speaking with the sales manager David Le. David addressed every one of my questions and concerns. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. It was worth the 2 hour drive we made from Houston.

If you want a fast, responsive team to help with your vehicle purchase, even if you don't want to step foot in a dealership, here is the place to go! Great advise on feature sets to order, clear communication on delivery expectations in a tough supply side market, and just good people that wanted help you move through the buying process with very little friction. I am a happy owner of a Badlands Bronco (finally).

Very shady business.I originally purchased a Bronco and had no issues, but when I went to trade it for a F350, they tried lowballing me on my Bronco, and tried charging me $11K over MSRP on the F350. I asked numerous times for numbers and they wouldn t tell me until I signed. I ended up going elsewhere.

I went to Port lavaca Ford service department.Sep. 2022 I was told they needed to order a part. I've called multiple times since. I was told it's on back order. Now today when I spoke to the Ford pass co. The service department said tkhere's no order in there computer. I waited all day for my car in their service department. And I have been waiting for them to call. I've waited 6 months.and now I have to take my car to another service I would not recommend Port lavaca Ford service department for nothing

This is the most unprofessional dealership I have ever dealt with. Had a vehicle listed as call for price. I contacted dealership and after hours of being blown off received the answer as its going through the shop then we will decide what we want for it.Never heard a word back from Laura. Took my vehicles here for service and found them charging for an oil change that requires 8 qts and only putting 5 qts in. They act like they could care less what the customer wants and more like we do what we want when we feel like it. Immediately chose another dealership. Horrible customer service. attitude and business ethics. Read reviews thoroughly before going here.

I shopped around online and was willing to travel to get the best deal. Thankfully the best deal for my 2023 Ford Expoler was right here. Big Mike was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and he respected my time, which I appreciate.

Port Lavaca Ford Service Dept. is the BEST! Again they have taken the best care of my vehicle, in a timely manner and with great communications. (Thanks John!) I drive from Victoria to get better service I always feel it is worth it. They have diagnosed my auto issues and repaired them several times and I have no hesitation to come back if I have another problem.

Purchased a New 2020 Ford Escape From Manny, He made the transaction super simple and easy! He was very Helpful and listened to the needs and price range that I needed to stay around. This post might be a little lengthy. But we ll deserved. Me and my husband were on the way to corpus and we broke down on the side of the road right outside of Port La Vaca. Between towing and getting in touch with the auto service the managers and staff made everything easy and helpful. 10/10 recommend. The auto repair shop staff John and Isaac were so nice!

If anyone need is in need of new or used vehicle. Port Lavaca Ford is the way to go. Eric our salesman is by far one if the best people I've dealt with. He went above and beyond to make everything right. Ask for Eric and he will definitely take care if you. Stephen did a wonderful job explaining the financial end of everything. **Do not trust this dealership**. Carefully review your paperwork before electronically signing. I had horrible overall experience here. We verbally agreed to what add-ons would be charged, and months later after reviewing paperwork, they added additional charges. Even though I caught other charges the finance guy tried to add in without me knowing at signing, I missed the gps add on. Finance tries to go through your paperwork on an iPad so fast, you ll for sure miss charges you didn t agree to. Make them do it the old school way and print it out. I m now in the market for a Raptor, and no way I m considering this dealership. I actually tell anyone I know in the market for a Ford to make sure they don t buy here. Not sure what happened to doing right by customers so you get repeat business, but they lack the integrity and obviously don t value customer loyalty. Whoever at the dealership that reads this review, and actually cares about why I m leaving this review, call me and I will give you details to validate this review. I still haven t gotten the gps subscription I unknowingly paid for after 5+ calls to the dealership. I ve heard several times someone will call me back, but no one has. Buyer Beware.

After purchasing a 70k truck we had tires and a leveling kit added. They promised it would be done Wednesday then I got a text letting me know it wouldn t be worked on until the next day. I was then told it would be ready by noon the next day. I was not updated unless I text my sales associate who seemed to be all to comfortable with his position and disregarded that life outside of the sales floor exists. His texts were always short and seemed all to ready to pawn us off. When I finally got the text to pick up the truck it was after 4 pm FRIDAY and pouring outside. My son had the flu so I was driving to the dealership with a child throwing up in the back seat and upon arrival had to move belongings in the pouring rain while the sales associate ,Ruben, went back inside. It was clear he made his sale and was washing his hands. A demonstration of the vehicle and its features/ functions/ benefits were never provided.The management team are intelligent and seem to be customer advocates, which is the only plus about this experience. They respond quickly to any issues that arose during/ after the transaction. Luke and Ami were pleasant to deal with and professional.At the end of the day, a buyers time and not over promising and under delivering should be a sales associates first priority.

I hope everyone remembers the dealership s that treated them right during this pandemic. I can assure I made a more than fair offer on a used car and they let a deal go and lost a customer. I have bought several vehicles from from the Port Lavaca Auto group but never again.
