Needed the radiator replaced in our class A Motorhome. Not only did Enrique and his son do a great job, they were also meticulous in making sure all was right. After they did the radiator replacement, we had them reinstall our dash AC components and recharge the system. Very fair prices and very nice folks to work with. This is now our go to repair shop in Port Isabel.

Intelligent, Honest, Helpful. They work quickly but with care. They were the fourth mechanic shop in the area that I have been to and they are the ONLY mechanic shop that has actually fixed anything on my vehicle. I am more grateful than I have the words to express. Give them a chance I believe you will be very pleased.

Totally saved the day. Was in SPI on a road trip and the minivan wouldn t start. I was able to figure out it was the fuel pump. We had two days before we needed to leave and SPI Mechanix picked up the van from my condo, and had it fixed in less than 24 hours. Great service. Great price.

I am in South Padre Island visiting when we noticed a concerning noise coming from our Honda rear brakes. I just showed up at SPI Mechanix hoping they could help. The manager, Enrique, worked me in and found that my brake pads were worn gone. He quickly ordered new pads and rotors and had me ready within a couple of hours. The assigned mechanic was very professional and carefully installed the new brakes. These guys are top notch and this comes from someone who is OCD about my car. Do yourself a favor and try these guys if you need auto service. They were recommended to me by both my hotel/campground and also the local parts store. Solid 5 stars here.

Professional, knowledgeable, friendly, reasonably priced. No BS like other give women. Second time using their service. This time mechanical. First time was body work. Can't tell I was in accident.

I definitely recommend bringing your business here. Between me and my mom we have had oil changes, tire repair and battery replacement. They came out right away found the problem and fixed it. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Unless you have an appt I would recommend going early in the morning.

While on vacation our vehicle experienced an issue requiring a major repair. SPI worked us into their schedule and got us repaired in time for is to head home at the end of our vacation.

Very pleased with the new power steering pump and shock/front end replacement. Cost was definitely reasonable and done in one day as promised.

Oil change was good and the employees were very nice. It was a bit pricy, but everything seems to be working fine. Also, you can play free foosball while you wait!
